Hi, a lot of units are catered for airbnb tourists at around 400r per night for a 2 bedders. The purchase price is about 1400 per sqf. Do you think it is a good investment? I am concerned about the wear and tear of the common areas and the units itself. With so many tourists (i stayed there for several nights) , i am afraid long term rental will not be profitable as i would not want to have different neighbours pulling their luggages constantly and leaving their food packaging outside the door step thinking it's a hotel with room service 😂 please share your view. Thanks
look at the poorly state affair of management in Tribeca will tell you all. Also, do not stay in Condo whereby Airbnb is frequent by all kinda people. This will not happen in SG and even HK! then again, Msia Boleh.
@justineesun3396 thanks for your reply. I didn't visit Tribeca but i can imagine the state after 5 years with so many tourists 😅 the upkeeping and rénovation fees must be non neligible. I should invest in non airbnb résidence in order to reduce my 'unforseen ' cost and to have a more steady stream.of rental income. Just can't get it why Sean and other property gurus keep saying agile is a good investment ? Just because of its lower price psf in klcc? I wish to have a far sighted opinion from these gurus
i did my numbers.. i didn't think 1.4k psf makes sense neither.. airbnb rates are not that high.. why not stay in conrad/hilton for 330 a night? why in a airbnb? similarly 1.3k-1.4k psf at times square 2 is the same story..

The unit itself can feel a lot more premium compare to the facade of the building. Anyway, the rental rate is very promising in the city centre^^

The layout and setting are very similar with China unit.
