This type of properties built for world elite class, for whom there are no national boundaries. In London, NY, Paris, Singapore, now KL. The world's richest 1% have more than twice as much wealth as 6.9 billion people. These properties are needed as another asset class for them to park their cash. Think middle east royalties, nouveau riche like Chinese, business tycoons, as well as unsavory types like corrupt officials, and Jho Low-types
The kitchen is ridiculously TINY! There is no counter top for food prep, no storage for pots and pans, this apartment is not for living, it is for showing.
I guess if you r rich enough to buy a unit there, u won't be cooking in the house. Cos those kitchens just won't work. Even for basic cooking. No matter how efficient the ventilation is, having the kitchen in the middle of the space like that is just a recipe for a smelly house
yes, brand named designers, constructors and all that... but still can't help but notice that weird layouts for both units, e.g. long corridor, triangular restrooms, restroom without windows, or a restroom bigger than bedroom.
Your major concern came true. Ksk is just being too ambitious with no proper backing. Technically ksk does not have reserve fund to back the project at all .

Just wow, the marble in the bathroom, the floor, the finishing all superb. Also the layout in the second unit is very different but in a very good way.
Sharing from experience, the wardrobe next / very near to the drainage will be a good nest for silverfish & cockroaches. Even with pest control floor traps, silverfish will still be able to come up and would love it if the room isn’t well ventilated. As for cockroaches, will have to constantly ensure that girl’s long hair doesn’t clog the pest control floor traps underneath otherwise there will be sufficient gap for baby cockroaches to come up. Regardless, this is a good video, keep it up. 👍🏼
I'm not sure about the reason of stopping yet. It's easy to assume that developer (client) is not paying. But I think it's because of the high inflation of construction and material cost, leading the contractor to not be able to complete the project. Therefore breaching the contract with penalty makes more sense than completing the project and lose lots of money. Now the developer will have to engage another contractor to complete the project and be prepared to pay LAD to buyers for late delivery.

@@aces4490 8conlay situation much more easy compared to kuchai east , as 8conlay is belongs to ksk land , easily they can find another contractor to complete the project . yes , abandoned condo causing by inflation. yet kuchai east i don't think can easily revive , as this company already close all office in town . sooner land office will announce this project as abandon , and with the very low margin of this project , i don't think there'll be white knight developer willing to take over .
I would definitely pay a visit once it's completed. We can only feel the total experience of hospitality by then. Surely can't wait to stay a night in Kempinski too:)
KL would be alot better if we build more public walkway like the pavilion-klcc and lrt-ktm pasar seni ones,...costly yet pedestrian friendly bcs the amount of smoke n dust from the very wide city road traffic plus the heat demotivates ppl from walking,,even from a station to another..thus more traffic

Brand association? Been to a condo of a chest thumping designed by Norman Foster and tell you what, it screwed up big time. It gives you hell a lot of leaking due to too much of curtain wall system. Pray this one won't have such problems.
People who buy these kinda property does not care about the odd layout, psf price, tiny kitchen .. IMO, They look at designers brand, their status upgrade of owning 1 unit here, adding 1 of the designer service residence into one of their list..
It's not a failure yet until the project is delayed in accordance to the SPA. So most probably there might be a new investor and a new contractor, so let's see=)

This condo cannot buy. I was going to buy the penthouse but it said reserved for the developer’s relatives. I decided not to buy and then it has financial problems. NOT SECURE DEVELOPMENT!

I’ve been to this show unit as well and many others but these show units are designed and built to make it nice for selling. Actual units will be very poor quality as always. Malaysia construction level is way far from global standard.

I may agree that this is a luxury property, but for me myself, I own properties around kl and pj including country heights damansara and I still definitely think this property is extremely expensive. Moreover, the property is still in construction and cannot judge on a single show unit. Based on the 3300psf, I'm only getting less than 700sf based on 2.3 mil. I think this property is way overpriced . They can already earn 2.3 billion + in revenue from residential units alone somemore.

Maybe I'm the minority but these kind of over the top luxury hotelroom styling is a bit overkill. Not homey feeling. If they can use the same standard but make it less hotelroom type feeling it would be great.

I feel that the closet being bathroom, albeit beautiful, is a bit problematic for our climate. Imagine finding mold on your expensive bajus, or bags!
