What a great bloke, used to watch and learn off his early carp videos filmed at cuttle Mill.. Back when Fairbrass and Ali were not even on the map... Todays carp celebs are just reps to sell tackle.. Des used to give you useful content and tips / tricks.. True country man that id love to have a beer with

here......fishing all my life too.....started with my Grandad taking me down Gothesly Lock,Stewpony,and the Fenns Pools.....he gave me what your talking about...that JUST BEING there was what its about.....doing a bit of everything now...and yes feel VERY strongley about litter spoiling the banks......KEEP IT UP BIG MAN...

Des is fantastic - love his comments particularly on being at one with nature as a fisherman. Definitely one aspect I love about fishing.
