Just fantastic mate, some great information for people who haven't fished this stretch. Thanks for taking the time and trouble to do what you do many thanks.👍💪
Both my mate and me are 70 + and paid our money into the pub letter box before looking at access. Unfortunately we couldn't negotiate the steep banks and went elsewhere, tip = looking at access to pegs is essential if you are elderly or not confident climbing down treacherous slopes and poorly constructed steps with no hand rails etc. John & Ian
He/she is right, walk upstream from the Brewery past the Shakey and it is free fishing all the way up to the free bridge at the lower end of Ironbridge,
@@bearrichards2667 hi, any secure parking towards that end with the free pegs? Im local but new to the river and navigating it and where you can and cant go is a minefield for me!
Fished this many years ago. Also on the weir opposite half moon pub. Also stretch on Appley est had some huge barbel down there. Down on apply pike we're common taking the chubb n roach happy days😂
Rob use to fish Brewery inn 40+ years ago just peg or two down from bridge with stick float bought back fond memories thanks for you blogs keep up good work
The upper reaches of the stretch that we know as behind the rubber factory is superb stick float water. I’ve caught more barble on the stick there than anywhere else on the Severn. Below the bridge are great for big roach and chub on the float and barble on the feeder down the middle.
The food at the Brewery Inn is fantastic value for money, I highly recommend having their full English breakfast. Fee and Keira have done a brilliant job on the pegs.
Thanks for the video, just the information I needed. I fished the Severn at Coalport on a recent trip and struggled a bit with the river conditions. I'll be back again sometime.
Great video, one of the few anglers who give info out on the stretches & swims, which is excellent for people like me who can only manage a couple of river sessions per season. The other thing I love about your videos is how clean & well looked after your tackle is (just like myself). The number of anglers I see on the bank with their tackle caked in mud/groundbait etc., also their hands/clothing. There’s no need for it, especially as there’s an abundance of water within easy reach!! My tackle is well looked after & clean & some of my gear is 30+ yrs old & still looks/works like new. Looking forward to your next video, with "baited"😂 breath. 👍🏻🎣
hi rob just found ya channel ..looks a lovely spot and they do accomadation in the cottage...cant go wrong! ..and barbel as well ...good video tight lines...
Great informative video again mate. Theres a free stretch further up from there couple of pegs at the pottery work shop and then abit further up about 7 pegs starting from the water inlet down to the bridge weve had a few out from that section. TightLines mate 🎣
@@RobsAngling no worries mate it's worth a look or else I wouldn't say just enjoy your vids and might give you some good content on a different stretch and its free👍might get the odd surprise 3lb+ bream.

Oh mate I used to fish near Stourport at a place called Seed Green back in the late 80s and mid 90s and had some cracking nets of really big barbel. I haven't fished for 25 years so I don't know what it's like nowadays. I remember there being a nice pub next to the river.....pretty sure it was called the Hampstall Inn or something like that 👍
As someone mentioned very few anglers are willing to give this sort of info out . I've watched a few of vids now and do like your ways , meaning you sound like a really good guy . Having seen this now i'd like to give it a go . Would be coming from Leeds but given your information think it would be well worth the journey for a days fishing . Thankyou so much mate and keep up the exceptionally good work .
Morning Rob, Great videos!! Keep it up. Can I ask what the best BAA venue is to access by car please..I carry too much crap "just in case" ! Best wishes John
Hi John, there is walking involved at most BAA sections however there are pegs close by to parking at the Danery, Hampton Loade and Arley. Hope this helps 👍🎣
@@RobsAngling afternoon, Rob, I’m coming up to Bridgnorth tomorrow and Friday, possibly Saturday as well and will be fishing. The Hampton Loade V section which I believe is just passed a unicorn in? Heres some updated advice: Some pegs are hard to get to (for example steep steps) the Restaurant was closed when i went there, and was completely flooded (obviously because it's the Severn) and you can fish thurther down by the waterfall thingy
hi rob, can you pay your day ticket, then park up at coalport bridge for the walk to the downstream section? less distance to walk with my knees the better.

Can you night fish the seven I’ve read you can but no bivvys allowed, and read that you can’t night fish at all and then other places say you can with no restrictions. Any one know?
Night fishing is allowed on certain sections - There aren’t many though. The Severn offers up plenty of day time and dusk/early darkness bites so demand isn’t huge for night fishing like the Trent. 👍🎣
Very pleasant place, but the pegs are poorly maintained ( and that's being kind!)most of the ballast has been washed out,or eroded out of the steps down to the pegs.this makes them treacherous when taking tackle down.
