I try to encourage folks to at least pay $200 for a detector. In my opinion, the Nokta Simplex is the best bang for your buck. Great coin/relic machine and is waterproof to 10 feet. I use mine when detecting beaches on the lakes near my house.
@@southernrelics thanks for the reply. I’m looking at either getting the simplex or Garrett ace 300. I’ll be targeting mostly coins in yards, parks, and fields
Especially in 2024 where you can get a simplex lite for $200, and even when this video came out you could get a vanquish 340 for $200 maybe In 2012 I had a cheap detector, not sure if it was a BH or just some knockoff brand, but I never found much with it and never got into detecting because of it, I mostly just found iron junk So I would never recommend this, if you can't afford a $200 detector my suggestion is to save and wait till you can, $10 a paycheque for less than a year and you can get a simplex lite or a vanquish 340
Great video brother. Your review is very inforeitive. Looks like it would be good for surface metals. Thanks for sharing your review of this detector. 😎⛏⛏🔥🔥
Defiantly a different kind of detector.. Not sure is I like the folding part and the build of it.. But to each is there own and it is what it is... if it beeps and is accurate then it will get the job done..
Not a bad little beginner park machine. You could definitely do some damage on some clad . I like to know your a independent channel . Thanks for the video.
One can do better for the money. Bounty Hunter Tracker Pro for example as of right now off of the A-Zon, and get a better haand digger like the Lesche.

I got a cooyes metal detector for Christmas, seems pretty similar. Mine came with an identical shovel, and that broke within a day

Interesting review, Stephen. Looks like a decent machine for a beginner!💖
Very good review Stephen but you'd be better off spending a little more and getting the Simplex or a lot less and getting a Bounty Hunter!
I agree 100%. Again, sometimes I do these Amazon reviews not to bud the next greatest item, but to benefit others with that product after I test it.

I run a Simplex also but I am curious about the depth that this detector can reach. Thank You for another awesome video.

Well dang..I'm going to sell my simplex and get me 2 of these! Each for one arm...probably will be twice as good! Lol
😂

Waterproof coil?
Good question. I’ll be doing more work with it this next week. I just got back from Hawaii and have to work a few days.

You couldn't give it to me .
As I stated in the first 30 seconds of the video, it was donated to a non-profit organization to raise funds for their cause.
Thanks for watching.

Hmm looks like a cheap copy of the Minelab gofind.
I was doing some research on other machines today and noticed that too. I bet its performance will not match the go find.
