Hi, have been looking at beginner videos on metal detectors for Hours. Yikes. I am petite, is this adjustable, can it find metals, gold? What is the camera at the end, Thanks
@@suemomable hello. Yes it can adjust down to 23 inches. It’s light weight also, which is great for kids and small-build people. It will find all sorts of metal including gold and silver. The camera is a Sony Handycam HDR. It shoots decent video. It’s not as clear as I’d hoped when I bought it. I find recording with my iPhone gives a crisper image.
Not impressed with the Simplex or Score. My Nox is much more stable on ID. Deep targets too
@@robertwynn5844 I have used a Nox in the past. Great detector too, but the Score and Simplex are awesome units. 3 years ago Debbie with Minelab asked me what my thoughts were on the Simplex vs the Nox. And I’ll tell you like I told her. As a single frequency detector, if detecting on dry land or in fresh water, the Simplex will give the Nox a run for its money. That’s not brand rep talk. I’ve got hundreds of hours in detecting time with the Simplex. I know that detector, and it is a well-built and performance-packed machine. Nokta knows what they are doing. But we all have opinions. 👍🏼

Do you prefer field mode or park on the legend and triple score?
This past weekend I was switching back and forth throughout the day at a home site. At that spot I liked field mode better. At my next spot, I’m gonna switch between the two again.
@@southernrelics do you have to set up each mode like I have Park mode a certain setting for like recovery speed all that stuff do you have to set that up on each mode. So if I really wanted to compare the two I need to set field mode exactly like Park mode

How are things there since all of the flooding?
Everything here in SC is back to normal, running smoothly. It sounds like our NC neighbors are still dealing with everything. But there is a lot of churches and humanitarian groups getting help to those in need.
