If it isn't one thing there is always another thing to fix.. Just a thought, could you use some magnets under the shims to hold them in place while you drive the pins in/out? Thanks for the video.
Got a worn bucket link on my excavator. The seals for the pin don’t fit anymore. They are 5mm and stick out a little bit now. what is the best option to have it fixed?
Safety Steve is having a fit I can feel him watching you hit that pin 😂
🤣
The shims went in easy!!! 👍
For once 😁
You do realize that every time you draw back on that hammer towards the camera I jump right. Oh you don't care. LOL
Lol Ronald....I wanted to make sure you stay on your toes...🤣

Thanks Mike I think you have something there with that tip!
I was going to say the same thing about the magnets! If they had a tab on the shims you could even clamp the shims onto the bucket .arm

You need to have the bushings cut out and replaced.
@@southernhomesteadtransformatio then i'll have the same problem again. bushing is not worn out
May I suggest that your David may have again been helping his Dad with the shims?
I really think you are spot on there Jeremy 🙏🙏🙏...I feel him with me quite often 😊
Tac weld them together then on the sides
sure beats doing it hand though ..
Yes your hammer was too sml. I just did this on a cat318 and it quite easily. I was told you always replaces shims on each side fwiw.
Time for a new excavator
