I really don't think Mimighoul auto-loses to the incidental floodgate of Impulse. None of the flip effects are so mission-critical and they have enough power baked into the xyz effects that I think they could scrape by without the primary gimmick. The thing about plants is that under Fuwa they would give their opponent like 20 draws (as a plant player I did the math), but plants are so versatile that they don’t need to play the big combo to end on a couple interruptions while giving their opponent minimal draws. Purulia is usually a bigger issue than Fuwa at least for some plant builds. I can see 60 card plant dying down a bit and them shifting to some more slow builds.

@@NeoWocky ... you mentioned gamma as a way to negate fuwalos, and gamma is limited in the tcg, making it a one of, which is why I said that you have ash (ash blossom) as another way to negate it.
any thoughts on dragon link now that we have the new metalmorph cards
Still waiting for Josh to acknowledge best deck dinomprphia
Loss to impulse turbo
Well, punk and superheavy samurai are good followups for centurion
Is the TCG going to be playing the mini Maxx C mini game?
They've been playing a handtrap minigame ever since Crossout Designator came out. Snake-Eye gaining traction just made it easier to notice.
Chimera/Azamina is also really good with Regina.
I really don't think Mimighoul auto-loses to the incidental floodgate of Impulse. None of the flip effects are so mission-critical and they have enough power baked into the xyz effects that I think they could scrape by without the primary gimmick.
HOWEVER, they still will lose to Impulse simply because 80% of their activated effects say "special summon" and all their lines have choke points it can stop.
Yeah like Impulse on throne pretty much gets rid of 2-3 interruptions on its own, it's a crazy card
Ive been playing chimera azamina (going pure fusion chimera) the deck is lowkey stupidly good
So uh
Is fiendsmith completely dead?
For me, azamina Is too op
So yes
@@bengialbiero6929 i mean you can run both... i'm more concerned with dominus impulse
Not "Dead" but not that good of an Engine without Lacrima. Specially considering Rex Tremendae (which is for Lacrima what Rulkallos is to Kitkallos: its evolved form) that is coming in SUDA
Gimmick Puppet prolly won't have many tops post banlist, but i personally believe the deck is still extremely solid
I play Chimera-Runick and is god
What about sharks in an Environment where fuwalos and Impuls arent as much of a an issue because of price? I've tried it a bit online and it seems decent enough to me.
I've played plant for years but my issue is it can't escape the Genuis Loci lines. Yes, we have Aromages to play straight into Jasmine link, we have Rikka that can overlay/negate/tribute and gain advantage but nothing is as good as Loci to start everything off.
Both aroma and rikka still lack of bodies to performing
And that's main selling of loci
I mean you can still get to most of your endboard with Evil Seed as well
Im a bit surprised has nobody been able to do well with infernoids? Im not claiming its the best deck but im surprised its not even mentioned here. It has such a high ceiling with the new support and with snake eyes.
Infernoids Is a 40 cards decks with 25 bricks. It's impossible tò make a solid list.
@francescolofaro8258 not really true it's actually a 60 card deck. You play 15 infernoids plus the 3 decatron. It has decent board break potential and woth snake eye plus diabell it has a very high ceiling going first. It was definitely better previous format though before the new mulcharmy card. Honestly though it can compete though and it's definitely better than a few decks on the list. Remember I'm not saying its the best but it's OK
Because it fucking sucks, you're just playing a worse version of Snake-Eye with 20 bricks in your deck
So what, Plants play into Fuwa or they end on minimal draws, i don't understand you
@@WombatOfDisaster I’m saying plants have a line where they give Fuwa one draw, end on like 3 interruptions, and all the follow up. They can play the grind at that point.
@@Shiny_Plume oha? Could you share that with me pretty please?
@@WombatOfDisaster Well you have to start with Petal, which means you’d have to play plants that way. But honestly it’s not that bad.
Petal -> Mudan -> Field Spell -> Glamour, add the two level 4s, make strenna, detach add back Glamour, and that’s two interruptions for one draw, and you also have your hand traps and all follow up
Nothing insane, but neither is Centurion under fuwa.
@@Shiny_Plume I mean standard builds have cut Primula, and its hard to justify putting her back in, cuz at that point you might as well just stay on Konkon Sheet
as i have said on other channels YCS Anaheim is going to be my retirement event as i am going on an extended break to focus on my health and other hobbies that are less exp. and in some cases less stressful than modern Yugioh where that is on disability checks don't get a fair chance to compete using let's say more unfair tools my question is this do you think we will have another supply issue for the crossover breakers for access to the cards or is it too early to say as for the current meta my deck of choice is a relic of a bygone era with some tools to punish hand trap users in a big way
I think MMG has ways to play around the dominus pseudo flood gate
I don’t even like voiceless voice but i think it’s being slept on.
So sad about mimighoul they chopped its wings off before it could fly
Chimera fusion can also be chained to Fuwaros so they don't get the draw AND they get a card ripped
That is a good play when you have what you open with the fusion materials for chimera and the spell, but that is not guaranteed.
They'll definitely activate Fuwaros on DF when you can't activate Chimera fusion tho.
No mention of drytron?
I think he mentioned it exactly as many times as it deserves
@@GrantRobertPotterhave you seen its new usage? That dude is ignorant and puts fucking exodia inside this deck before the ritual apollousa.
So they basically made spright and purrely cheap on the reprints so they can later be smashed because of a couple of hand traps, that sucks.
Centurion vs labrynth. Who would you play? @joshua
Centurión pure ? Yubel , rescue ace? Witch fiendsmitch also
Brother…How does kash not play into perulia? Are we forgetting they need to be specialed from hand. Birth gives you an extra normal to that they love to use..
Unicorn search theosis summon fenrir pass, or make shang summon fenrir on their turn. It’s not great but it’s not like you can’t just pass on some kash monsters. Aside from the first kash monster the only real other one you’d special from hand is riseheart
I think it is just because the main combo it unicorn search theosis
WoooooooooooooooooooooooooooW.........
I never even thought about that shit for mimighoul wow.... lol
Yeah I'm not even going to finish making that deck now I have the entire core sitting here I'm literally not going to sleeve it up now. Thats ROUGH...
Sadly I’m priced out. That’s a shame because I’ve always wanted chimera to be good.
What about vanquish ? Shifter deck, max 2 draw from fuwa if you have stake
The deck doesn’t do enough and negating raizen is rough. Doesn’t it play really hard in purulia?
Floowandereeze can feathers 🪶 storm every deck know once u main 3 thrust your opponent is cook
Anyone else think that Link monsters are just broken? Like all the top decks on their own with their own boss monsters are relatively manageable until u think you've got them in a corner and then they link summon u into oblivion
Centur-ion supremacy
How does pure Fire King stack up against the Snake Eyes/Azamina variant? (open question to anyone in the comments)
Pure fire king has less link climbing capabilities and is more inconsistent. Snake eyes gives FK a lot more starters that they really appreciate
@@alexc3337 And what do the Azamina cards offer? My gut feeling is that the deck might not need two whole additional engines after the addition of Ulcanix but I'm just getting back into the game after some time away so still getting caught up on the current meta lol
@@dredgenfaiththe azamina/sinful spoils cards give you more access to engine an omni negate and more link climbing potential
@earthteamjordan did a incredible azamina white forest deck that will get even better with SUDA
I got 2-0d by the millennium exodia player who topped in round 7 of niagara, i was on snake-eye azamina and opened impulse both games but it turns out millennium ankh is not once per turn so im coping that the deck is good and i didn't just get dumpstered by rogue (shifter crazy card)
chimera azamina??
22:48 yes me summon 600 def normal monster like its alleister the invoker and i havent used my normal summon yet
Woohoo! Format warping staple card that forces certain decks to be unplayable! Exactly what Yugioh TCG needed!
One card combo decks end on billiok negates, YGO players: Kill the deck! Old ygo was much better!
Konami releases card that weakens said 1 card combo decks and strenghens midrange/control, YGO players: How dare they make combo unplayable!
@@mcmisterhd1920 Nice strawman you just built for yourself there. Lemme tear it down real quick. Never in the history of any card game, has a meta warping card ever been healthy for the game. This doesn't even stop combo decks, the best deck of the format are two combo decks. It just means the combo has to go into the Extra Deck less to be competitive, or be even more stupidly busted powerful to offset it. Think before you type next time.
@@monkfishy6348skill issue
@@monkfishy6348 The best deck is azamina SE (with either FK engine or not) and I would not call tenpai combo but. After that we have mostly midrange to combo. Yes theoretically in the future we could have toxic combo decks that summon few times from extra (similar to memento) but for the time being, the format is much more balanced. Also "Never in the history of any card game, has a meta warpig card ever been healthy for the game" - thats a nice argument senator, why dont you back it up with a source?
Also speaking of strawmans - I never said stops combo, I said WEAKENS which looking at Joshs tier list and YCS results you would have to be blind to deny
@@monkfishy6348I'm pretty confident your tune would change if Fuwalos was a common lol
what about Vanquish Soul? it is realy solid against fuwalos i think
Please Konami…give us more Vanquish soul cards lol
Yes, but it also can't really use fuwalos either.
did you forget the part where vs literally doesn't end on anything? why do you care about whether it's good into a generic 3-of when it loses to itself?
Me when the deck that needs 2+ cards to full combo end on a single pop
we need red reboot back
Drytron?
Centur-ion stonks 📈
dark world never gets attention on these videos, i'm playing danger dark world this weekend for regionals. I made the meta call to remove the fiendsmith package because of fuwalos.
Yes because it’s probably the deck the most weak to shifter in the history of the game
@@user-vg1fb6ow7ylol also weak to droll
where is stun
Ninja best deck
I feel like voiceless needs like 1 or 2 more support cards to really be viable it just currently has too much brick potential and choke points
The newest 2 support cards are a fucking joke, especially because neither works good with the previous ones.
@@Goku-zu3rkThe continuous spell and trap? I can understand the trap but the continuous spell is powerful
@chewdoom8415 no, the new saffira ritual and the trap that summons a normal skull guardian
@@Goku-zu3rk ooooh yeah. I forgot about the new ritual, she's the one that came in the same set as the continuous spell. I don't disagree with your point
@chewdoom8415 that new ritual is not mentioned on most cards, hence can't be special summoned from the deck. Also, the old safira ritual can handrip on your end phase, whereas the new one can only do that on attack. And the trap is just a normal attack boost, that you don't need anyway.
ok but what do u think of naturia runick. is it still viable?
Heck yeah, time for a break from yugioh till reprints come out
Centur-ion 🔥🥰
you rated memento fine last time, fs still gets into engine. issue is that fs memento plays worse into fuwalos but pure's ceiling and going 2nd is worse
where goblin bikers?
Glad beast sss+

Why is salad on this list?
Should Centur-Ion plays more board breaker since it is weak to big boards ?
