I think us as Europeans have always kind of laughed at America and seen it as some sort of comedy. However, when I saw those election results... it very quickly stopped being funny. Sending you all so much love from Sweden. We are happy to have you if you end up with no choice but to leave but I truly hope it does not get there. And to American women: our fight will never end, I am heartbroken that yours just got so much harder.

Yes love from sweden, I remember how we made fun of Trump a lot when he won in 2016. But after seeing what he could do and seeing these results, I cried for all the people that, not only already are systematically and socially discriminated against globally, but now are having their BASIC HUMAN RIGHTS taken away as well. We have too many countries in this world who would benefit from their unjustices being recognized. And a fairly progressive country as the U.S backtracking this is hinestly so scary for europeans as well. Can’t even imagine how scared you must be. But just know that we will stand with you, our sisters and brothers and nonbinary siblings.

i will say, a lot of americans did feel “abandoned,” for lack of a better term. even now, it feels like most humor outside of here is about how great it is to _not_ be american. don’t get me wrong, i understand it 99% of the time. i guess it just felt more isolating as a marginalized member of this society to know that my own country was pushing me aside whilst the rest of the world pointed & laughed. i may be biased bc i have a justice complex & i fight hard for what i believe in regardless of where it’s occurring & maybe it was wrong of me to expect empathy as an american given that my leaders are completely devoid of such concepts. all this to say, thank you for recognizing that we aren’t safe & giving us women the space to grieve 🫶🏻❤️

I worked at a hospital lab once where we got a call when I was working in Blood Bank. Patient going into surgery, was going to need blood, but asked his nurse to ask me if we knew who donated the blood. I said that we didn't, but all units are screened, and it's very rare that we get a call from the processing center that there's an issue. The nurse hesitates, tells me that's not what the concern was. I asked her to be specific. Turns out, the guy didn't want blood from anyone that wasn't wh!te. I was fuming. I politely told the nurse that we didn't have information on donor demographics, so he would be within his rights to refuse blood, if he decided it was worth the risk to his life. I told her to document the entire thing, get signatures on all the necessary paperwork. Imagine being so rac!st that you'd rather die than accept the literal gift of life a stranger has provided you. Made me sick. It's been a decade, and I'm still mad when I think about it.

We truly need to stand up and fight back; so, that in 2 years we vote out all the Republican members who support Trump and in both the House and Senate, to get Democrats back in. But while we wait those two years, our liberal Democrats and all those who support them let us band together, and save ourselves from ending our own existence and the fundamentals that our Democracy was built on. This needed to be said and I wish you the best ❤. Love to you and your family. Stay safe.

Thank you for using your platform to speak about this, i'm from the UK and have been curious what this means for the people of America, when i heard Trump was in it felt like a nightmare i so desperately wanted to wake up from, i've heard that some people blame Biden for inflation, it's not just America that has been affected but the world and i'm pretty sure that isn't Biden's fault ♥

Thank you for speaking about this, Chris... Truly. I was recently diagnosed with depression and anxiety and to say I've gone numb since the election results came through is an understatement. On top of that, I'm in my last semester of school and I've been avoiding everything related to the Project 2025 just because of the horrors I've heard about it. Hearing you speak up about it, though it doesn't lessen the severity of the situation, really means a lot to those of us who are struggling with wrapping our heads around what's to come. Reality hasn't set in for me yet... But I'm sure it will soon enough. You're so right about finding community... And I, for one, am so glad to be apart of this one. We love you, Chris. Hoping we can all get through this together

Here, here Chris. We love you. We love America. As a Canadian I'm in shock. This affects us too with his tariff BS and on our case about US -CAN borders. Also, don't bother moving to Canada, the "Maple MAGAs" are starting to take over here. Same attitude. And people are hating on Trudeau so more than likely Canada will go Conservative next year. Which is the same as Republican in your country. And Conservative in charge you should see his tweets, so racists. Thank you Chris for speaking out. You definitely don't have to be affected to care in this world. Everyone continues to fight for rights and rights of others. Peace

Fellow Canadian. Let's not lose hope yet... we have a year to educate people around us (and more, hopefully) as much as we can. But I am worried as well. Its concerning and confusing. Everything about these results and the popularity of these parties makes no sense.

I’m 12 minutes in and let me tell you as a devout, evangelical biracial christian - I wish this message was received so much more in the spaces I’m saying it. Thank you for making a statement and being informed, Chris.

Chris, and other Unhinged lovers, I just feel so distraught. I’ve had a handle on my depression for years now and it’s come back HARD. mostly because of the following: I am a 24 year old biracial woman. I have a 9 year old biracial sister. Our single mother is white and she voted for Trump. I had already stopped speaking to her because she now dates openly racist men, but seeing her MAGA bullshit and her spewing this insane rhetoric that is hard to believe that someone can believe…I mean I feel like my heart is being ripped out of my chest over and over and over. I know there are millions of us, but god I feel so alone. Thank you Chris. Needed this ❤

Thank you SO much Chris. I was crying with you as my heart is broken at the thought of what our nation has just done. Such atrocities…
How can so many people be so brainwashed and blindly follow blatant lies-it’s disgusting. I live in Texas and in a highly conservative city at that… and a good amount of my friends (who are WOMEN) are texting me about interest rate BS not realizing they’ve been conned into caring about shit that will never affect them instead of common human decency. I feel so seen and heard thanks to you. Which means a lot being a liberal surrounded by these people on the daily…makes me feel like a small fish in a tank of hungry sharks. From the bottom of my heart, THANK YOU for using your large platform to educate people and stand up for what’s morally right. Thank you for seeing me. And as a woman, thank you for caring so deeply about my rights and all of the other people who will be personally affected by this. 🖤

I never usually comment on UA-cam videos or TikTok’s. This past week however I’ve been commenting more and more. I’m surrounded by MAGA especially my family. I’m trying so hard to not go no contact because these are the people I love most. Not one of them have ever asked me why I was supporting Kamala. No one was interested in my views or why I am so against Trump. They just tell me if I actually looked at facts I would support him. I’m the one who has heard ALL of their opinions and have been trying to see from their point of view. That’s the difference between us.I’ve been told some of the most disrespectful and hurtful things this past week. It really is so disheartening and disappointing to hear what they have to say about “the left” and towards me. Just for not being apart of MAGA. I am just to a point I don’t even look at them the same anymore. I’m now trying to find my people. Because they obviously haven’t been in 9 years. They just keep getting louder and louder now
