Good advice, thanks. I have sinus issues so often do massages on myself. Usually helps a lot.

I’m glad to hear it works for you! So many of us head straight for the medication & forget that you can also help yourself with a bit of this too 👍🏻😊

It’s great when you can physically feel the muscles relaxing too. We don’t do it enough ❤️

This is coming at exactly the right time - I’m having a cold again after just getting over the last one two weeks ago…
I’ll give this a try because it always ends up going into my sinuses and I really hate sinus headaches. Thanks!

I hope it helps & you feel better soon 🙏🏻 If you’re a bone broth drinker the Planet Paleo soups can really help boost you from within too 👍🏻

Love this video, I have had Indian head massages before and my favourite part is the ear and jaw massage… so relaxing …

Oh it’s so good, isn’t it? You don’t realise you need it until you experience it!

Hi Elaine! Another very good video with easy-to-understand instructions.👌🏻😃
Personally, I cannot tolerate a head or facial massage when I have a headache of any kind.🙄 This helps for 10 seconds at best, then it just gets worse. And any scented oils make it even worse for me (smelling mint oil is only very liberating when I have a stuffy nose without a headache). Regardless, maybe it's because I have to give myself my own massage...😒 When I have a headache, the only thing that helps me is a strong pressure point massage around the shoulder blades (more precisely between the shoulder blades and the spine). This works best if I stand against a door frame and press my back against the edges. Well, this looks like a pig scratching itself on a tree, but anyway, no one is watching...🙈🤷🏻‍♂️🤣
What actually often helps me with a stuffy nose is a strong pressure massage on the points on the pressure points (LI20) next to the wings of the nose and then a stroke to the lymph nodes near the ears and along the side of the neck. This is repeated several times, with the blockage only really releasing a few seconds after the massage. It doesn't always work, but it has helped me many times, especially when I was lying in bed at night before falling asleep.😊
Speaking of scent and stuffy nose (❕️Caution, beware of an anecdote🤭): The combination of alcohol from hair tonic and petroleum vapors also works very well! During my vocational training, I happened to try out a new, very strong hair tonic in the morning on a cold winter day and probably got a little too much. A little later in the workshop I sat in a cloud of hair tonic haze from above. From below came the haze of kerosene (= paraffin oil (?) - in German called "Petroleum") with which we
had mixed our abrasive at that time (together with machine oil). This combination was absolutely effective; my nose/sinuses had never cleared so quickly.👌🏻😎 And I felt somehow relaxed and easy...🥴☺️ - until my head was clear again...🤣🤣
Cheers and take care - Ralf🍀👋🏻

Hi Ralf! You're not alone in how you feel when the headache starts and I know quite a few people who cannot tolerate any touch at those times. I'm impressed that you've found a DIY solution that not only works, but your description is hilarious 😂 Maybe a future UA-cam demo from you? I'm only partially joking haha!
The pressure point massage sounds excellent and I'm encouraged to know that it works more often than not for you - the stuffy nose solution sounds wild! Effective from your recollection but I wonder if it would get past health and safety lol 🤣 How strong was that hair tonic! 😆

Side note: your nail beds are to die for!! Do you do plenty of upkeep on your cuticles?

Thanks so much! I think it must be the circulation boost from doing this job - I don’t need particular cuticle attention & I wonder if the products & moisturisation play their part?
