I've watched all your videos now. They are all very informative and educational, but I think a lot of people watch them for the relaxing quality they have. Mostly due to the physical contact you have with your clients. The watchers of the videos project themselves into the role of your client. But more importantly the nurturing quality in your voice and persona. You come across as knowledgeable but without being authoritative or condescending. Thanks for the time and trouble you took to present these very professional instructional videos. Peace!
Thanks very much - it's so nice to hear such a lovely comment and I really appreciate you taking the time to be so constructive. Viewers like yourself make it all worthwhile :)
"I think a lot of people watch them for the relaxing quality they have...The watchers of the videos project themselves into the role of your client." That describes me. The esthetician in this video has a lovely voice; it's so soothing. Though I am not watching to learn how to give facial treatments, I'm impressed with how she explains all the steps involved. She's an excellent instructor.
I would like to express a big thank you for taking the time to make your tutorials. I learnt massage a year ago and have not used it too much recently and it has been great watching your tutorials to restore my confidence and refresh my memory of movements. THANK YOU xx
I'm an esthetics student and I've been dying to watch this video and now that I finally am, your voice is so relaxing I can barely keep my eyes open! :)
Oh my god I am so relaxed. Your professionalism is fantastic, and your voice is lovely. I rather wish that beauty therapists spoke like this during normal facials.
I’m About to do a basic facial course to use at the little beauty salon, I work in & this has really helped to give me a good insight …. Thankyou …. Brilliant …
We always remind viewers that there are many ways to perform a treatment and very rarely only one way to do it. The basic principles will be shared but individual interpretations make for many unique and varied results. Embrace the differences, take elements from as many different reliable sources as you can and create your own bespoke routines :)
I've had a look at your website and have decided I must pay a visit! I'm from London so your prices are amazing in comparison, well worth the drive up!
Oh, how I wish I lived near your studio! I would not hesitate to make an appointment for a facial exactly like this one! It looks so incredibly relaxing...
so would it be a good plan to not wear makeup to a facial. Though of course, for many it might not be the first step of the day. Do you do this step if the client doesn't have makeup on? It seems to me it might be a good plan, as, how deep a makeup cleaning do we do at home? Probably all our faces could use some extra deep cleaning.
Lots of people will have some makeup on when they begin their facial (at the moment with the contouring, eyebrows and liner trends it can be quite a lot!). You're correct, a double cleanse is a great idea for everyone as the initial cleanse helps to remove makeup, surface oils etc. and the second cleanse really starts to get into the skin for a deeper clean and better results with the next products to be used :)
Thanks! Our favourite choices are always changing but a great one is the remover from this tutorial - the Liz Earle range (works on waterproof mascara too!) :)
This covers the basic routine of sorts, but there are so many different variations now that your best bet is researching local salons and choosing what you like the sound of from their treatment menu.
what's happened to sound? It's completely muffled. Love your tutorials so informative. I'm just dissapointed a couple of these on facials, sound is so poor can't hear.
Wendy Lewis Yes, no idea what happened with the upload of these but some people are experiencing sound issues on them. Definitely an isolated case you'll be pleased to hear :)
There are so many creams, balms and oils on the market that we always like to try new formulations and manufacturers. Massage balms such as Tui balms are a particular favourite at the moment and, so long as your client doesn't have an allergy, your suggestion could also be used.
Thanks Carole, that's so nice to say! I think some of it might be using products on clients so frequently that the by-product is you're constantly receiving a moisture boost. I'll put together a video sharing what I do and what I use and you can take credit for the inspiration :)
Hi! It changes because there are so many great brands to choose from and in this video it was Liz Earle. If you look at the videos on the channel over the years you'll also see lots of excellent brands that I've chatted about/used that also give great results :)
Sure, we used the Liz Earle range which you can get at uk.lizearle.com and the massage medium was Songbird Naturals massage balm, found at songbirdnaturals.co.uk :)
That's good to know. It seems the the audio recorded in a way that's caused a lot of issues, so thankfully your current phone doesn't have that problem & I hope that continues for others :)
Sorry to hear that. I'm trying to figure out if something can be done and if I need to re-upload it I'll leave you another comment here to let you know :)
It seems to be something that comes up with some audio feeds and not others, but headphones appear to solve it. If you scroll down in the comments there are some solutions if you can't hear :)

Oh, how I wish I lived near your studio! I would not hesitate to make an appointment for a facial exactly like this one! It looks so incredibly relaxing...

Nice of you to say - thanks!
In considering going for a facial and was wondering what was involved. Is this a typical experience for a facial?
This covers the basic routine of sorts, but there are so many different variations now that your best bet is researching local salons and choosing what you like the sound of from their treatment menu.
very nice
I would definitely book an appointment with you! Your accent would actually be calming, hehe (I'm a bit of a language geek):P
what's happened to sound? It's completely muffled. Love your tutorials so informative. I'm just dissapointed a couple of these on facials, sound is so poor can't hear.

Appreciate and very thanks your feedback.

Tell us how you take care of the skin on your hands, please. Yours are absolutely spot and line-free. I wish I could say the same for mine :(
Thanks Carole, that's so nice to say! I think some of it might be using products on clients so frequently that the by-product is you're constantly receiving a moisture boost. I'll put together a video sharing what I do and what I use and you can take credit for the inspiration :)
can you mention the products that you use?
Aw thanks! :)
Hi what products do you use
Hi! It changes because there are so many great brands to choose from and in this video it was Liz Earle. If you look at the videos on the channel over the years you'll also see lots of excellent brands that I've chatted about/used that also give great results :)
Thank you! We travel to you if you're ever in the central Scotland area visiting friends or family - a good excuse for a pamper party :)
Are you watching on a mobile device? Some require you to use headphones for this particular tutorial (not sure why). Hope that helps :)
Well, since you've asked, if I win the lottery it will be the first thing on my list! :)
Hi there, at 13:11 what is a final polish? I'm sorry I can't understand your accent at that moment. Do you mind if I ask?
You're welcome :)
Sure, we used the Liz Earle range which you can get at uk.lizearle.com and the massage medium was Songbird Naturals massage balm, found at songbirdnaturals.co.uk :)
I volunteer as tribute!!!❤❤❤❤❤
There seems to be problems with the audio on this video ?
I think it's an earphone issue on certain devices but if you try with/without it should hopefully work with one of the options :)
All I hear is static.
Wendy Garcia u neef to use earphones to hear it

On my Samsung galaxy S7 i had to put headphones on to hear it but with my S9 i dont need to i can hear it without headphones

Lol, it was a file and polish on their nails (I was wondering myself what a final polish could be!) :)

Homespa Beauty thank you very much
great tutorial but the audio is a little too quiet :(
Wish I was laying on that table...
There's no sound on this video
Whoever your husband is he is lucky he can get free professional massages.
Sound all muffled
I wouldn't mind one of those and I'm a man.
No volume
If you check out the comments it seems to be a sound balance for some but not others (I think there's a few suggestions on how to rectify) :)
Thank u so much for this video but i cant heard ur voice, very small ;(
Sorry to hear that - it seems to have been a mic problem but we sorted it out for all other tutorials. Earphones might help :)

I want a massage now.....
No sound ??
I think it happens for some people and they've said headphones solve the problem. Hope that works for you :)
Can't hear anything 👎👎👎
Are you listening on a mobile? There seem to be some issues there but headphones should solve the problem.
The audio is Annoying, I’d prefer it with a soundtrack if no talking was possible
Ah ok, I read below and plugged in the phones
Easy to press mute or add your own soundtrack.
Very nice
