I just recently got the razer barracuda x 2022 and I’ve been absolutely loving it! A big selling point for me was the Bluetooth so I can use it on everything. I had a Hyperx Cloud Flight S, but the dongle stopped working and Hyperx doesn’t sell them anymore sadly. It is nice to finally have Bluetooth, but the Flight S was so comfortable haha
I bought my brother the recon 500 for Christmas thanks to a recommendation from one of your older videos. He uses some nasty headsets so I'm sure he's gonna love them. Great channel techne keep these videos coming.

I've had the HyperX for years and I love it. Best headset I ever had. Sounds great and I find it to be comfortable. A bit heavier than a few others I have owned, but It's still great.

ty - just wanted to add my thoughts after getting Corsair HS65 surround...tried them for couple of weeks...I wear glasses and pressure was there due to clamping and not the most comfortable. Am going to test RIG 700s to see how they are as ultra lightweights and ack back. ty again.

I have a question about HyperX Cloud II headset. I heard a lot of people saying that since hp bought hyperX they changed the headphones significantly and that they are not the same. I dont know are they even selling the new ones and if they are should I buy them?

Ive had my pair of Razer Blackshark V2X for a year and half now. I use them daily and I’ve absolutely zero problems with it. Their light weight and comfortable. They do a good job with noise cancellation with a good seal around your ears. The sound is really good for ONLY $40-$50. You can easily hear enemy footsteps and which direction they coming. The highs/mids/lows never mush all together. They make for a great gaming experience being able to hear everything nicely.

Ive had mine since 2021 and i am looking to replace it this year as the left is louder then the right the rubber around the wires is bursting open and audio cutting off for a fraction of a second
Do keep in mind that i have no where to put my headphones so i rest it anywhere i have space and sometimes it did fall as it was in unsafe places
Is the wire removable/replaceable from the actual headphones. I've bought my son 3 pairs of 30-40 dollar headphones and they are all worthless once the wire is damaged. Are the Razer Blacksharks V2X removable?

I got the turtle beach recon 500's and their very comfortable but I can't help but feel like the sound is not as great as I expected. I have no idea if there's a setting in COD MW2022 or if it's my console or whatever it is but any semblance of directional audio seems to be gone at times especially when I use this for my phone, I have to turn on the 3D audio setting in my phone for it to really kick in. Is there something I'm missing with these cans?

Ended up grabbing a pair of the red camo wicked cushions.. I got big ears and glasses... they were a major upgrade with the velour hybrid.

Great video, thanks for the recommendations! A bit of criticism of mine would be the video saturation, everything was super bright and a lot of detail was lost in the colors, consider lowering the saturation just a bit and see how it looks. Again, thanks for the informative and enthusiastic video!

The Turtle Beach Recon 500 and the Arctis Nova 1 have a lot of echo on PS5 when playing offline, couch co-op with a friend. Lowering the mic's sound does not work to mitigate this. Any tips?

I also recently tried Corsair HS80 RGB Wireless. for some reason, it gave me a headache and wasn't the most comfortable with clamping force. sound and mic was awesome. had to return it. not sure what to try anymore. probably steelseries novas at this point.

Would you recommend the older cloudX? I see them on sale right now for £35 I’m more of a earbud person but with a recent ear infection I feel that I’m wearing buds to long.
The one with the blue lining? They're good. Surprised they lasted as long as it did with the way i treated it, probably dropped it atleast 50 times, woke up with me sleeping on top of it sometimes, only broke because i damaged the wires..about to order them again. You'll like it.

I've always loved the hyperX headsets but found that the right ear stops working no matter how well it gets taken care of which is unfortunate because I haven't been able to find a headset that compares to hyperX.
Does anyone know how I could fix the issue of the right side dying after 1-2 years of use?
Honestly, same happened to my headset. What I would do is using the manufacture warranty or buy the headphone at Best Buy adding a $20 two year warranty so you get about 4 years of warranty. Once you return the headset at Best Buy to use your warranty (you get a new box that includes a warranty with HyperX).
Just went ahead and bought the corsair HS65 about 5 minutes ago, excited for their arrival already!

I have dozens of headsets, some costing over $200, and I still keep using the G435 as my main. I love the sound of it, and how light it is. It feels like you're literally wearing nothing. The microphone is the only letdown for me, but for the price I paid for mine ($18 on Target Clearance), I'm blown away. The sound is surprisingly full and deep for being a budget wireless headset. Love it!

Wow! $30 for the G435 is an absolute must buy! I have a pretty big head and it still fits me and I do think due to the light weight, it is comfortable. It may not be the best headset for gaming but the functionality it offers at this price point is unbeatable. Thank you for a great video!

I know this video was for headsets under £50, but currently on Amazon the HyperX Cloud Core Wireless is £70 and it easily beats and much better than every single headset in this video or the HyperX Cloud 2 Wireless is currently £83. Spend just a little more, but getting much better sound for the money
Sound quality? The $50 Arctis nova 1 and turtle beach recon 500 smokes the hyper X cloud on sound quality and mic quality by a significant amount.
I bought some Cloud IIs the other month and wow yep they are still absolutely amazing. The DAC is actually a lifesaver because I get interference from my AUX jacks, so my mic ends up sounding clear with the DAC.

I scored Astro A 10 Gen 2 for Xbox. Great for dolby atmos and good if you don't feel like using bluetooth all the time. I use it strictly for PC and Xbox Series X.

I bagged some Epos H6pro's for £20 possibly the best £20 I've spent in a long long time!
For under 50 bucks there is also HYPERX Cloud core stinger s a headset that I own. (I bought them for 29 bucks currently at 51 via amazon) The sound is nice even with no EQ (NGENUITY Didn't work on me) the product quality is more than decent, the mic is THE BEST on HyperX headsets, Plug and play (I had a sad story on Synapse that's why i mention it as a positive) One massive negative though is the cable. It isn't braided or something that means if you accidentally stretch it (It is long though) possibly it will break.
In sweden a got the recon 500 for 10 dollar, i am really happy with them, good buy :-)

@@BigRossD IDK man, I got them and I'm returning them. The sound is not very good, maybe my ears are different but there is just too much bass when playing games, when there's an explosion the bass drowns out every other sound.
