- Finally getting time to work on the M3. Threw on the CSL airbox from Haimus racing
, and then dropped the subframe in preparation of the overhauling the rear end!

It’s not even that bad compared to what I’ve seen dirty crusty rusty old ones this is was just a little dirty lol i’m gonna try and restore mine but I bet you I’m gonna fail because I have no idea about mechanics. I’m just gonna have to keep watching UA-cam videos😂😂

Hey dude, quick question. Did you drive the car without a tune/ecu swap after installation? Going to install mine soon, but wasn’t sure if I needed a tune before driving the car again.
technically you can still drive it w/out a tune i whats known as "psuedo Alpha N" but it may throw a CEL since the it wont register the MAF. I know of someone who is doing this before they get there tune sorted out, but I had my ECU flashed to the Euro CSL software right away so Im not sure how feasible it is. I would hesitate to "get on it" w/out a proper tune as I have heard the can buck pretty badly down low with no tune.
Sick car dude, but didnt you need to relocate your oil-dipstick?
If you re-use the US spec dip stick, yeah you have to relocate it! I am using an OEM euro CSL dipstick, which is shorter and sits under the front plenum
