Enlightenment is not subject to our selfish dependance on boring and exciting - its the opposite of that. As my main man Huangpo says at the end of this exciting fox koan : "Life Isn't About Waiting for The Storm to Pass, its About Learning How to Dance in The rain". (or boring old chinese words to that effect) 😃

I am curious as to why you would share his works after all the suffering he caused, and the big stain he left on zen in the west? I understand he may have been awakened, but I feel there should be more of a dissection into how an awakened person could do this? It seemed like you had great revelations when you would hold your hatred 'part' and other 'parts 'in the book. It seemed like holding space for your inner child helped you awaken? This sounds like 'IFS' Internal family systems. Something that works wonders for me in my zen practise. My zen master says I have to see a therapist while I learn Zen, as he warns that zen alone is dangerous. It would be interesting to study your teachers life and learn about the parts in him that felt they needed to sexually abuse people? His parts, inner child and shadow were obviously unintegrated and should be elucidated before sharing his work, as too many 'teachers' sexually abuse students and I am over them giving the traditions such a bad name. Just my opinion. Love ya man!
