I clean houses and use the V10. All but one of my customers have pets and the V10 cleans up the dander and hair beautifully. My filters are dark but clean well. Some of my customers have the Shark vacuum and I don't really like it. I have vacuumed the rug with the Shark and then with the V10 and I get lots of left-overs. I always use the max setting on the rugs to get the dander and I can only do a 10x10 rug before the battery dies so I carry an extra charging cord and plug it back in and finish the vacuuming at the end. It works very well on hard floors, and it will do rag rugs and area rugs on low settings without eating the rug. I had a DC35 with spare batteries and that was great but they haven't made one like that since. If you are like this fellow and do frequent short cleaning (or run it on medium or low) it is perfect. If you do larger cleaning but start with the vacuuming it'll charge while you scrub the toilets, clean the kitchen, and do the laundry. His tactic of doing a room or so a day is very efficient.
weight is the most important factor for me and it seems like each new iteration just gets heavier and heavier. I have the 8 and I'm getting a 7 for the other floor due to weight. They all do the job just fine.
Yeah my 3+ year old V6 is really plenty fine. and because its so light weight the kid can use it (and you can vacuum the fan and the car). These bigger ones are really getting too close to an upright, might as well go with an upright if you need the extra power, capacity, and runtime.
2:42 Its not a good idea to close the bottom trap door then push up the bin to lock it, because on the way up, dust will trickle down to the seals and eventually will clog the seal up - preventing a good seal and dust seperation in the cyclones. You need to push up the bin first, (bring it back down again for maximum dust removal) then close the bottom door. That way, dust wont be able to trickle onto the seals on the bottom lid. You actually did eject it right on 5:58. Just push the bin back down and up a few times to eject the loose dust a d dirt that falls down so it doesnt collect on the seals overtime

Awesome review. I’ve got the V8 which I fine is fantastic and handy and light for car, used mums v11 and although awesome l found it cumbersome doing the car.
I best test of the vacuum power would be to know the weight of the dirt spilled on the carpet and then measured again once it has being picked up by the vacuum, compare the measurement and determine how much stayed on the carpet if any.
This is great! Thanks for the video. In terms of attaching the docking station, I Use 3M velcro. I’ve lined the two sides with Velcro tape and its super strong.... This means I can change the location of the docking station if I change my mind.

My V6 Absolute has a removable post motor filter so it’s not V8 and above. The higher end models of the earlier machines do have this feature. Is the main hard floor motorised cleaning head improved on the V7 the V6 one is very prone to blockage in the knuckle joint? The V6 bin is also hard to realign if you have to take it right off to clear the shroud. The battery is now getting tired and cuts out on Max mode very quickly. The V6 is pretty good but feels like a work in progress considering the negatives. It looks like Dyson have it licked with the V11 though - Although it’s super expensive!
I appreciate the review, but there is no-one who has a Dyson and has a stairlift. I bought the new Dyson ball at Christmas and started cleaning my stairs. The ball was at the top of the stairs and bounced down every step before I had even started. I now have a VAX cordless and it does clean the stairs, but I have to still clean it twice by changing heads. By the time I have finished, the battery is almost empty. Do you think this might be better for stairlift stairs where you have a bar basically in the middle and a void area under every step that you can't get any nozzle into?
Looks good but will it pick up multiple bits of cotton on the carpet from dressmaking and is the trigger light to use as I have a hand tendon injury. Also is rollers or brushes got cotton wrapped around them are they easy to clear
Thanks for the great review. Have you tried the V11 on mattresses and sofas? We have multiple dust allergies throughout my family and given the high price I would go for it if it really works.
Thank you, I haven’t tried mattresses but the mini motorised tool is great for sofas. The suction is powerful so I would say it would do a great job on mattresses.
Have you ever tested the V11 filter before and after washing it to see how much particulate material is being emitted. The filter might not be as effective after washing it and continue to get worse with each wash
Hi, again, just to say this was the first day I used my V11 animal, and I am afraid I don't quite like it. I only have one working lung now that is not the best, and I find this is just way to heavy for me. I only got to hoover my kitchen, bathroom, and sitting room, and a couple of armchairs and I ended up with. not much battery left, I only have a small house, so I just had my bedroom to do but had to leave it to allow the battery to charge. that was ok for me as it has given me a break from it to rest. What I really miss is the flexible pipe as putting the instruments in, its all just too solid where as with my Dyson hoover you have that flexible pipe so as I sit here writing this I am feeling the dull ache in my lung, One thing I will say about it is, there is good suction.. when I emptied it into my bin it is great the way all the dirt drops out. BUT some hairs have gone higher up and won't empty out, I think I am going to have to pull the cylinder off to get them out. did not think that would happen. For myself or anyone that is not very strong or healthy, I really would not recommend the V11. Oh i never even got to finish hoovering my sofa so that and my bedroom still has to be done :/
I would have recommended a Dyson V7 or V8 as they are lighter. Reading through your comments though I see your battery ran out before you finished, and you tell me you only have a small house. Was the V11 set to high power? Thats the only explanation I can think of as to why the battery ran out. I could clean my four bedroom house 2 to 3 times on a full charge. If you vacuumed at low or medium power I feel certain your battery will last. Also the vacuuming will be easier without using the full power as the Dyson will be easier to push. I hope this helps.
@@kinkkkin oh now that would be perfect. Maybe one day if I win the lottery I will purchase :) but thank you for the reply, I will go and take a look at this machine :)

Ghibin Kim The V7 soft roller head is 20w the V11 is 30w. It appears to spin at the same speed so I can assume it’s stronger when it meets resistance. In the real world I don’t think it will be much different at all, you don’t get much resistance on hard floors. The battery life was a tiny bit better on the 20w head but only by about 1 minute on full charge at low power.
I'm not sure I'm a fan of the v11, seems like the same motor, just with a bigger battery. The auto thing is ok... I like my big easy switch for me to choose. Not a single button. I have the Cosco special V10. It comes with the older carpet head from the v7/8. If you can get the v11 for a deal then maybe, but the screen is meh. And the auto is reserved for the highest end model, so if you get a lower end v11, you don't get the main auto selling feature
My bin always comes completely off when I empty it. At first this annoyed me but now I like it because I can be sure that all the stuff that got up on the screen comes out too. Design flaw turned into a positive LOL
@@leepspvideo it's actually now in Dyson website I can buy it V11 for £399 as its gives £100 discount and V8 animal is £349, so like £50 only diference, I've tried already V8 animal and I loved it, but had no chance to try it V11, such a little difference in price now so I could afford any of them, but for me it's important not to be to heavy and I have only carpets at home. And unfortunwtsky cant go to a store to try it V11 so hard decisions, almost bought V11 today, but teading reviews and people saying that's they giving back V11 as it's too heavy or they have to charge it again as battery finished, but house not done yet. What is difference between V8 animal and V11? Weights, high, longer, battery, bin collector bigger, heavier, what else. Still not sure which one to get.
I cover all of this in the video. If you are worried about weight get the V8. Often complaints about the battery discharging can be down to using high power mode. Low power works perfectly well. I almost exclusively use low power and my V7 has never run out doing a normal clean of my 4 bedroom house.
I really like the battery information and extra suction of the V11 but It would boil down to price and if you have hard floors its quite a lot cheaper to buy a V10 total clean.
The answer is: no dyson. They all have cheap plastic everywhere. Get one of the new 18v or 40v makita stick vacs with pre separator that will come out and call it a day.
Non of these if one wants longevity and a product that will last year's. But if you are someone who fits Dysons audience and only want a machine for 3 to 4 years then yes. Wouldn't replace my SEBO Felix with one of these. I like to deep clean my carpets.
I remember the Sebo rep demonstrated the X4 to me about 10 years ago, I was working for an independent Euronics store at the time. He did a great demo, even got me to stand on the machine! I just couldn’t go back to cables and bags. Each to their own. 👍🏻
Never ever leave a Dyson plugged in, always unplug it and empty it. My in-laws left theirs plugged in on the landing and went out. It started a massive house fire that killed their dog and they were homeless for 6 months. We had fire training at work and the trainer said he’d heard of it before and there's static inside of an unemptied machine. I won’t buy a Dyson because he is such an awful excuse of a human being. Be careful with them please if you do own one.
Yes, the performance is really good on laminate. The fluffy / soft roller head is the best for hard floors. It comes with the V11 absolute and many other Dyson’s. See this video ua-cam.com/video/udWiABIjk3E/v-deo.html
Dyson no longer makes it. I had one, my mother in law tried it and liked it so she now has it. The V7 is definitely better on battery life and especially on emptying.
I recommend buying direct from Dyson. They matched the price on Amazon AND they throw in an accessory package with 5 extra heads/hoses!!!! Only avail for free if you buy direct!! Amazon was $50 cheaper but they matched it!
I have worked in electrical retail for the past 30 years, working in independent stores and major electrical retail stores in the UK. I have never discredited another UA-cam channel for their own opinion. I do the vacuuming in my own home and have done so for many years. Honestly I prefer vacuuming without a cable or bags and I find that cordless vacuuming works for me. Over the years I have been on training courses and had numerous discussions with reps from Hoover, Vax, Miele, Bosch, Panasonic, Sebo, Dyson, Bissell and many others. If it works for me, it works for me. Here’s a playlist showing me using various vacuums if you require proof of my recent vacuuming. ua-cam.com/play/PLMJAjiTgBtFkLQcogxlG-jFxLvLWitw53.html Hopefully I don’t end up with 26 of these 👎🏻
So far so good with this vacuum. ua-cam.com/users/postUgkx8ISPQRRAfpAaX4msGjyodObTBnlj4T5g I was a little concerned to find it seems to be all plastic, but the reviews were good, so I'm hoping for the best. Very easy to assemble Recommened, and only attachments I've used so far work well, and are easy to use. Doing a good job on the new carpet in my bedrooms and stairs. Works well on the hardwood on my main floor too. Reasonable weight and cord length. I already knew from an earlier review that it wouldn't fit under furniture, but I can use my Eufy for that, so no problem - the high traffic areas that need a stronger suction was really what I bought this for. If it continues as it's started, it will be a good buy and well worth the money. I have had two Shark Rocket stick vacs in the past that are super easy to use, but the motors just don't last well, even with scrupulous cleaning of the filters. I'm hoping for better with this Bissell.

Google translate wasn’t clear. The Motorhead is good on all floors. The soft roller head is the best hard floor cleaner.
@@leepspvideo Is the head for the carpet used on hard ground? Will it be hard to disassemble?
It works on carpet or hard floors. Dyson tools are very easy to remove.
@@leepspvideo The carpet head is used on hard ground. It is used in wooden parquet floor.
when emptying dust doesnt look like it gets rid of it all do I need to clean it somehow as this will build up eventually
The V11 is great at ejecting the dust. I haven’t had a problem with it.
@@leepspvideo do you think v12 will come out later
@@gemmaric5566 Yes, Dyson tend to release a new model every year.
My bin always comes completely off when I empty it. At first this annoyed me but now I like it because I can be sure that all the stuff that got up on the screen comes out too. Design flaw turned into a positive LOL
I have a dyson v8 absolute fluffy head. My v11 animal comes today. Will the fluffy head from v8 fit the v11?
Yes, see this video
Dyson V11 Absolute or Animal? ua-cam.com/video/ERordse_ZyA/v-deo.html
How did you like your V11 compared to V8? I am thinking to buy one of those and can't decide which one. I'm skipping the V10... ))))))
I want to buy it Dyson, but still not sure which one to get it v8 animal ot v11???
The V11 is the best if you can afford it. It is a little heavier on the wrist, I suggest you try both in a store.
I almost exclusively use low power and my V7 has never run out doing a normal clean of my 4 bedroom house.
in conclusion better v10 or v11?
I really like the battery information and extra suction of the V11 but It would boil down to price and if you have hard floors its quite a lot cheaper to buy a V10 total clean.
V7
V Nice
The answer is: no dyson. They all have cheap plastic everywhere. Get one of the new 18v or 40v makita stick vacs with pre separator that will come out and call it a day.
I can’t see a rotating brush head on the Makita. Without one it will be very poor on carpets. Looks decent for cleaning up in a workshop
Add some dog hair to this and notice how much is wrapped around the beater bar!
Non of these if one wants longevity and a product that will last year's. But if you are someone who fits Dysons audience and only want a machine for 3 to 4 years then yes. Wouldn't replace my SEBO Felix with one of these. I like to deep clean my carpets.
one year.. two yearS ... year IS , year’S ...learn ur fcking language
I remember the Sebo rep demonstrated the X4 to me about 10 years ago, I was working for an independent Euronics store at the time. He did a great demo, even got me to stand on the machine! I just couldn’t go back to cables and bags. Each to their own. 👍🏻
You've had several Dyson models. Maybe you just love to hate on Dyson models but continue to buy them.
🤔
Never ever leave a Dyson plugged in, always unplug it and empty it. My in-laws left theirs plugged in on the landing and went out. It started a massive house fire that killed their dog and they were homeless for 6 months. We had fire training at work and the trainer said he’d heard of it before and there's static inside of an unemptied machine.
I won’t buy a Dyson because he is such an awful excuse of a human being. Be careful with them please if you do own one.
is this V7 7 in the video animal type or the ordinary one?
It’s a V7 Total Clean.
@@leepspvideo thank you for replying back...you mean absolute?
My V7 is a total clean. The V11 in the video is an absolute.
@@leepspvideo thank you
Interesting that he refers to "Hoovering" - with a Dyson!!!
😀 A lot of people still call it Hoovering in the UK. I try not to, but it’s a hard habit to break.
Malcolm Odam i call it hoovering with my Shark Apex hahahah
what else do you call it lol
wait vacuuming
@@looloo4029 why cant you call a dyson a hoover
Good
Does it pickup on laminate floors easily?
Yes, the performance is really good on laminate. The fluffy / soft roller head is the best for hard floors. It comes with the V11 absolute and many other Dyson’s.
See this video ua-cam.com/video/udWiABIjk3E/v-deo.html
V11 and v8
What happened to the Dyson V6
Dyson no longer makes it. I had one, my mother in law tried it and liked it so she now has it. The V7 is definitely better on battery life and especially on emptying.
Random Video is RANDOM........

Neither...get the Samsung instead !!
Tests incomplete. Waste time.
Don't buy from Dyson.
Who do you suggest to buy from?
I recommend buying from Amazon
I recommend buying direct from Dyson. They matched the price on Amazon AND they throw in an accessory package with 5 extra heads/hoses!!!! Only avail for free if you buy direct!! Amazon was $50 cheaper but they matched it!
I don't think this guy's use very many vacuums

Hopefully I don’t end up with 26 of these 👎🏻
Performance Reviews dissing competitors reflects very badly on the disser!
Have you ever tested the V11 filter before and after washing it to see
how much particulate material is being emitted. The filter might not be
as effective after washing it and continue to get worse with each wash
Hi Iv ordered a v7 and v10 Iv got to send one back Iv got a 3 bed house do you think I should save £100 and send the v10 back or is the v10 that much better
I think the V10 is worth it for doubling the battery life
Good ...
