This information is actually difficult for new players to understand, even after reading the wiki. Thank you for makeing this video and explaining it so completely and concisely!
having a collector’s quality item has always stood out to me as being especially cool... because, well, im a collector of things (such as hotwheels, and now, of australiums). something about that bold, bright strong crimson that kind of demands your attention more than any of the other colours just feels really cool

Collector's Unusual would be interesting, to say the very least. Imagine having to not only get 200 of the same hat in unusual quality, but also get those 200 unusuals to have the same exact effect on them. I don't think this is possible. Even if it was, it would take a whole lot of time, money and for sure a fuck ton of RNG for getting the same effect.
Fun fact: There’s one item with Community Sparkle that isn’t Self-Made. Valve originally gave Self-Made Community Sparkle Lugermorphs to the developers of Sam and Max, but when Poker Night at the Inventory came out, they were accidentally turned into Vintage quality items, making them tradable!
The weird thing about the chemistry sets is that they were silently disabled. No patch notes, nothing. People just noticed they were no longer dropping one day and by process of elimination worked out what patch it probably happened in. It's not entirely impossible that this was a mistake and they were some how accidentally disabled as something similar happened to hat drops a few years prior which Valve eventually reversed. But chances are we'll never really know either way!
You forgot to point out that there's one Unusual hat that you can obtain without unboxing! The map stamp hat (Which you can buy one map stamp for $1) is the only cosmetic that has a unique unusual effect that isn't present in other items.
@@the-hd5cx It's Purple Heart (Neptune) from Neptunia. But anything more specific probably isn't that easy to find. You should have mentioned how Haunted items were first added to the game, during Scream Fortress 2011.
