If you are ever there again I would love to see the grave (if it still exists) of Robert Handsley. It is described as being the first tomb on the right when entering the gates just before the first path. He was a very interesting man, solicitor, justice of the peace, an associate of General Scarlett, married into the the Massey brewing family, Captain Commandant of the 17th Lancashire(Burnley) Rifle Volunteers, first ever town clerk of Burnley. I own a sword that was presented to him by his men
I wonder which is the oldest grave in the cemetery. The older graves had that spooky vibe to them. Some very notable people from the surrounding areas buried there.
I think someone has covered the plane crash. Days of Horror or Daft Monkey, maybe. It's not my neck of the woods so it must be a story I've seen on youtube rather it being a story that I've been told verbally. It would be good if you could cover it.
I have both of those on my subscriber list and not sure I'd spotted it, but DoH do go often to the cemetery....so maybe? I'll stick it on my list though. Cheers
