So if you don't mind constructive criticism I would either turn down the music more while you guys were talking or turn it off other than that real good info guys thanks
Thanks for feed back This was one of our first videos and we have learnt a lot since making it... audio was an issue in the early days .. thanks for watching.
The music is way too loud, it makes it hard to hear you talking, What is the small little black stick with the white ball on it for? Is that a reset or something?
@PopalongRC yeah I wasn't trying to be a jerk I was just trying to give constructive criticism. I love your content I watch it constantly! Ty! With that lap monitor system do you know what that little pin is that inserts into the front of the lap monitor is that a reset pin or something? It's black with a white ball and is taped to the bottom in a zip lock baggy. I've been watching the tamiya TT02 and TT01e build videos, trying to get into racing!
Epic bit of kit that doesn’t need a techie to setup for racing. My only wish is that those transponders were £10 rather than £35. Brilliant you’ve found and shared.
I know this is pretty nitty gritty but in the misc settings there are settings for “top speed” and “average speed”… does the transponder record speed as well? I don’t see how it would know speed without knowing the size of the track or some on board GPS
Hi guys. Just watched this. Whats your experience with this divise after one year? We are looking for something like this for our local rally track and many asked me if this system will capture multiple cars passing the sensor or missed the ones behind the nearest car? Thanks!
@@PopalongRC Thanks for the fast replay! I guess that won't be a problem but 5 cars passing at the same time would all be counted? o may some missed the lap?
@@PopalongRC thanks for the quick reply, I’m planning on holding cement parking lot oval races of no more than 6 cars at a time, So other transponders work with this set up guys? And thank you for your research.
Im thinking of starting a club local to me and was thinking of a lap timing system. In your honest opinion would this be good enough for a 8-10 car race ? Also I like the fact that you feature FTX, great product at a reasonable price very new user friendly. Currently looking at their Zorro
Great software for a mobile race set up… 8-10 absolutely fine. We have the brushed Zorro which is great fun to drive. Not tried the new on as yet but it does look good.

You won’t regret it…. We have other videos on this product as we got better at using it and more familiar with settings

We are pleased with it as it is still going strong and hasn’t dropped a lap as yet...

The beard is saying it right! And great review! Gonna buy one!

So far so good with this product, sunlight seems to affect its sensitivity but LapMonitor Does a small sun shade for it👍
