Yeah, you sold your house in record and at over asking price. Doesn't get much better than that. Restoringnumberfour seem like a really cool couple, gonna check out their site. Eagerly awaiting to see your new project. Have an awesome two weeks.
Chris & Paloma are a true inspiration. The property has so much potential. I'm excited to follow their journey. I can't wait to see your next project. Congratulations on the sale of your property. Roll on the next 2 weeks to find out more. Take care ❤x

@@RestoringNumberFourthink of it as a funnel for light, so you want the plasterboard spreading out wider towards the ceiling. A bit like this shape but flipped 180° \_/ similar how most lampshade taper out
When framing out the velux before plasterboard angle the top and bottom studs at 45 degrees instead of just making a square box around the velux. I do this on most jobs now and the customers love it.
Congrats on selling your house and thanks for all the hard work you put into these videos I find them really helpful. What advice would you someone who wants to start in the property development game how much money would I need etc. thanks again Andy
Thanks so much Andy, glad you’re enjoying the videos! We will keep letting out all our advice and hopefully answer some more of your questions in the next couple of videos before buying our next house. Thanks for watching and best of luck to get into a property 🤞🏻😊
How long did it take you guys to sell your place from the day it went on the market? we’ve only been on the market for 5 days and so eager to buy somewhere…..we’ve got 3 on our radar! All doer uppers! But if anyone wants to buy ours in lovely sunny Dorset let me know 😂❤
It took us under 2 months, but a tad longer than expected! We viewed properties with the hope of ours sellling in time to buy it- defo keep viewing properties so it gives you more idea of what you want for the next one!! Best of luck 💙😊
@@NickyandHarri congratulations on your offers, and higher than expected! Expect to wait a few more months while the solicitors drag everything out 🐢🐌 Be careful using anyone recommended by agents, they're often on commission! 🤞 fingers crossed 🤞
floor boards arent square with skirting, gaps around the light switch plate, and off centre faux fire place screwed with screws that don’t match(!!!). Give them credit for DIY, but do not call that room high quality finish because it isn’t.
I think you've paid too much for it and I think you'll spend too much on renovating it for what it is and where it is (to make money on it) but fingers crossed for you
Great episode! I just wanted to drop a quick note to let you know that I've reached out to you via email and also left a message on your Instagram regarding assistance with site appraisals and planning permission. Looking forward to your response!

Such hard workers. Your families must be so proud of you. Great edit too.😊

I studied in Wales and fell in love with the country, so really happy to see a DIY restoration snapshot there! 🥰
Wales has a lot to offer. And even more last week when Nicky and Harri were about to help with the graft haha 🙌🧡
Awesome Red, glad you enjoyed!! 😊
You need to paint the silver screws on the fire place in the bedroom black. It's very noticeable x
Top tip angle the top and bottom of the veluxe windows at the ceiling let's in so much more light than just squaring them off.
It's angled with the roof, is that what you mean?

We have to wait another week?,!!😮
Unfortunately 😢
It's not sold until you've exchanged contracts - that's the stressful part.
Thanks Jules

No truer words have ever been said 😊💪🏻
A pair of sliding glass pocket doors (frosted for privacy if desired) is much more elegant than bifold doors.
Could be a good idea, stay tuned, we are still debating this! 🧡🙌
We’re a sucker for bifolds personally 🙈

It’s an old property. Things aren’t going to be completely square and flush. Sounds like a jealous comment to me.
