Great work! When I first saw the shot, I was convinced the actress actually was wearing the suit and the VFX were „just“ the HUD and the set - I would have never suspected the whole suit to be animated/replaced. Awesome work!!!
@@fagerborg960yes. As a blender user. Cycles render is good but not advance as compare to Arnold.but apart from rendering side. Accessibility in blender is much more better than maya in my opinion.like blender has geo tracker, geometry nodes etc.. as a studio point of view maya is better because of pipeline that build around those software’s like max and maya. But as an solo artist. Blender is better and easy to work with. If you don’t like cycles. You can use other rendering engines like render man, redshift, octane etc. Note: I use both maya and blender and Houdini as well for my workflow. In both studio work and personal projects.
Fantastic end product and thank you for showing the process! Btw I think it would be good to boost the volume on your voiceover and enunciate your words a bit more, it was hard to hear you when you trailed off. And it's not an issue with your accent. Anyway, loved this and can't wait to see more from you!
@@InLightVFX Hey man thank you so much! You have a good point on the voice, just checked your channel and I have a bit to learn from you on that😂🤌. Thanks🙏
You did amazing ❤. That's the next level of creativity. Please make a video, trying similar scene in (Unreal Engine 5 + blender) with less physical resources.
Even the "simple" stuff that nobody explaines. There are a billion tutorials on how to model, but I never found stuff for distortion matching, grey/ chromeball etc. Like how to shoot for vfx
Your video is fantastic and very informative! I really enjoyed watching it. However, I found the background music a bit loud, which made it difficult to hear your instructions clearly at times. Maybe lowering the background music volume or increasing the voiceover volume would help. Keep up the great work!
this is wholesome. glad to see someone using maya and a proffessional workflow for a change. this is film quality vfx. earned your self a subscription. wish i could learn more from you. do you have patreon? theres very few info on youtube on how you actually use a color chart and a mirror ball in production .
For sure, not too much info out there on the "pro" workflows! Thank you so much though, i don't have anything like that right now unfortunately, focus has been on creating!🙏
I am so impressed with your innovative and hardworking mindset! Incredible how you reached this level of quality! How long did it take you to complete this scene in particular? How long have you been learning VFX? Did you go to school at all? Take any courses?
@@anointed4artistry160 Hey, thank you sm! This was in production for about 4 months on and of, most work going in to assets and r&d tbh. Been learning VFX for about three years. But been doing simple after effects stuff before that again. Three years at the VFX program in oslo, but also mixing in online courses and UA-cam
That is truly remarkable! Could you please inform us about the schedule for the tutorial class if you are planning any? I am keenly interested in knowing when it will take place...
I'm from India, I just started my career as a VFX artist and also interested in making films but I don't know the process behind all of this. And I really want to learn the CGI thing and how you shoot how you plan all of this.
Really wish I #1 had friends that cared enough to assist my VFX journey and #2 the ability to make VFX this good lol Nice job though looks like a movie to me!
Love the end result and it looks incredible. I aim to get as good as you one day. I was looking at the helmet movement with the head and I feel it has this really light weight movement due to it being a foam base. Do you think adding weights into the foam helmet would make the movement appear as if the helmet has more weight to it and it'd look a bit more natural. That's the only thing that was throwing me off and is just something I thought would improve it. Amazing work and video quality in general. Keep it up!
Impresive, I would recommend increasing the volume of your voice-over next time, the music was too loud which made it hard to hear what you where trying to say
