TBS, I will bet that these Gates WildLife Control guys left their business card in the front door of the people ... under whose porch/patio/etc momma fox stashed her brood. Job security ... and, in this case, easy money! Hmmm ... I wonder whether momma fox is in on this hustle? PS: I will also bet that his brother-in-law does porch/patio repair.
Dude comes out with his saw again...rips up another deck, removes the foxes, mother fox moves the babies back to newly restored deck...ah, the circle of life!
I wondered why the first porch was a problem. Maybe the porch owner had small outdoor cats that would have been seen as snacks to the foxes?
Exactly! I was thinking this too. Too bad they couldn't have released mama and babies in a large park land or something.

I love how she ploughed up the ground so the babies had a soft landing when she pulled them out.
I don't think that's what she was doing, pawing is a stress response and you can tell she was nervous about the box and hesitant to approach it, probably because it smelled like humans which are a predator to foxes, but the noise of the kits crying probably prompted her to go in and grab them.
@@Sarah.Riedel Now I thought she was trying to see if she could dig under the box to find a possible entry from below so the cubs could crawl out and quickly realised she couldn't. Interesting how we all interpreted it differently. Foxes are incredibly intelligent though...and fantastic mothers too!

Chonky Boi they are not pest, they share this planet with us and are part of nature. We just cannot go on destroying everything and not expect the roof to fall on our heads. Recently, I've read an article about the link that has been established between the killing of foxes and the increase of lime disease. Everything in nature has a purpose, we humans don't see it because we are too stupid as a species (we've been on this planet for two seconds, compared to its history, and we've managed to screw things up in no-time)

That was fast moving of mama fox to transfer puppies in another den. Looks like a friendly neighborhood allowing foxes to live there. Hope all baby fixes grow healthy; & safe !

I had a vixen den up in an abandon irrigation vault outside my kitchen window. Those kits are just too cute. That was a fun summer.

@@laurenandreas5950 Heartless? They were under someone's deck and were relocated humanely. Under a deck isn't the best place for a den for many reasons.

We have had a temporary fox den underneath our deck for the last two years. Last year with three cubs, this year five. We just leave them be.They will move on once they are ready, which seems to be around the end of May. They can carry parasites, which is why we watch out for feces, and keep our dog away from their play area.
Your solution is the only solution.

I have to admit, I expected the worst when I saw an animal control officer arrive to handle the situation. His compassion toward these creatures helps to restore my faith in mankind.

Gloria TX EXACTLY. I feel like people are staging animal rescue videos at this point for likes and views. He could have made this video to simply promote his business lol. SMART, but I feel like it’s mean when you’re forcing animals into stressful situations. 😰

Maybe the home owner didn’t want a den of foxes under their deck. But also didn’t want to hurt them.
The mother probably did thinking it was a good place to raise them. However because of the high human traffic she probably wont be able to go to them as often as she needs to. Plus for the home owner its dangerous too have a wild mother animal with babies right under they're house. Foxes also smell horrible. The risk of the mother attacking the family or pets is high, plus the babies could wander out and end up getting hit by cars or hurt by pets. So moving them is a better option for the homeowner and the foxes.

I only think it’s justified if you have an infestation issue in your particular area. A lot of times it can become so severe they will kill your cats, chickens, or small dogs
yeah I get where your coming from but some people in the uk use that as an excuse to hunt them for pleasure and thrill. The way they deal with it is so savage and cruel. I don’t think anyone would like to be ripped apart by 20 or more hounds. There are plenty of alternative ways to deal with foxes more peacefully without resulting in their death. But again I understand your point of view.
F 16 normally, it only happens in areas infestated with humans, who destroy the environment and prevent other living creatures from surviving in the appropriate way...humans destroy everything in their path, and then call the other animals a plague...

I have a Fox that lives in a shed on my property. Every year she has a litter? 🤷♂️ of babies. I have no use for the shed, it is far back on the property (very secluded) so I let her have at it. Around sunup you see the babies start to venture out looking for mama to bring breakfast. It is adorable when they see her coming.

They don’t want to be around humans so she must have been hiding her pups from predators! Thank you to Brad and Ms. Foxy Mama for rescuing and taking care of these sweet pups but major props to the homeowners(if there are) for being more concerned abt the welfare of wildlife than their porch....though it looks like Brad tried to do as little property damage as possible. Great vid!

A truly compassionate homeowner would have let the foxes have their den under her porch and not have insisted that they be evicted from their home.

If it was my house, i would just leave them be. Foxes keep down the rodent population , clean up roadkill . They steer clear of humans .i dont see why they cant just be part of the landscape.

until they eat your Yorkie or give soneone rabies. Foxes can get quite large. And they are gettibg bold coming out towards adults and small children during the day. Beautiful animals, though. SEE VIDEOS ON UA-cam OF FOXES .ATTACKING DOGS..They dont normaly attack dogs,.,.but rabies increases risk,.as does.cold winter when food aupply is low.
