This is what I don't understand. Why does Tourette make people saying thing like that, yelling, swearing. Why don't they say something like "I love chocolate" or "there are spiders in my attic"? Why drugs, why aliens?
@@davidbio1 because it's caused by damage to the amygdala, a region of the brain that normally mitigates anger and aggression. Because cursing is a form of verbal aggression, amygdala damage could result in the inability to control aggression, including verbal aggression, or cursing. You can google simply google it dude!

You get an urge kinda like when you have to sneeze. If you think about it your more likely to do it

For me if I think about tics then I'm more likely to do it but if I'm focused and not thinking about it I'll more likely not. It feels like when you get shivers down your spine and its hare to not do it and it can hurt sometimes.

Can I ask you a few things about your tourette's? Were you born with it or did you somehow get it later in life? Do your ticks and the frequency of them depend on your mood, stress, environment, etc.?
It developed when I was 12. My tics do get worse when I’m anxious or in public. But they’re pretty bad always lol
