CF is a great resource, and I have a yearly subscription. But the most important part of using designs from CF was left out. When a person stops the subscription, whatever is downloaded can not be used for any new designs. Any designs and fonts previously made are OK to sell, but using the same designs and fonts after the subscription has expired is prohibited. Not sure why this was left out of the video.
Yes, very important and one that has and will catch people out, something to be VERY careful of.
This is correct! I thought I covered the point that you need an active subscription / license in order to sell any of their designs on new products.
However, I've never had a reason to unsubscribe because of the value CF provides!
Can I make a game sheet by picking different individual images from creative fabrica and uploading them to a print on demand site do I have to do a link or can I download the image and upload it if I want to let's say a gang sheet but 15x12 and put at least 16 stickers on it if I can. Somebody said a link and I'm really new at this and I don't know if that means is that the actual image or how does that work. There's a site called Atlanta design or something and they print your photos for you or something so I'm looking into making a gang sheet because they have easy directions but I don't know how to do it on creative fabrica if I'm allowed to just pick any image or does it have to actually say print on demand image

Thanks for the video. I downloaded a design and put on a tumbler, but was reported by the designer and have policy infringement. I appreciate your explanation on this issue.
I have a gigantic art room and i have been scared to start a business because of all the "legalities" but i have been researching and researching and learning. My sublimation oven is coming and that is the last of my big products right now to get started. I just told my daughter with Canva pro and creative fabrica I would never want to copy someone's work and pass it off as my own and make money off that. I have always altered designs on my personal items to put a spin on it to make it my own. There are so many designs out there it would be nearly impossible to alter something to create something new and be a copy of something else someone is made. I also learned of a Trademark site to check into before using words or phrases. Thank you for your explanation.
it's not that complicated! just *download* and *use* directly in your business, what is no allowed is to resell those arts as your own (i mean to resell them digitally as yor own clipart)

My question is , what about the free bundles? I mean they say that all freebies come with an unlimited commercial usage. And about altering , say for example you got some free flowers or butterflies or something in a bundle , and you put a flower on your design , then add many other things of your own making to the design, like women and text for examples , so the flower is just a part of the design, then is this allowed?

So if someone who has already used the graphic for example, he can report you, no? It’s been a year that i have CF and never used it fully like you’re advising
You have the full license to the artwork (if you’re subscribed to CF), so if someone were to challenge you, you have proof you have the right to use it
If you have a all access you don’t have to worry, there is a spot in your account with license keys for every item you’ve downloaded and if someone wanted to question you you send them the licence key for proof you have the right to use it. As long as you’re following the licences for each category and or your specific licence you will be fine.
Remember to read the terms of service for each place you want to sell - while Creative Fabrica allows us to use our designs commercially without modifying, there may be marketplace specific rules that you'll want to be mindful of to stay in good standing. Also - I am not a lawyer and none of my videos or my comments are legal advice.
I just watched this video. I'm pretty new to using my Etsy store, and I've been slowly getting things up and going. I have almost 100 products listed, with the majority being Mugs and Ornaments. I really appreciated this video, as it answered the exact question I had going through my mind. I've had a store on Etsy for years but never used it, so I restarted it in May, and I can't get anything to sell. I've had tremendous sales on eBay over the years, but this is proving difficult. Thanks for the tips.
What should be illegal is the single-figure cents Creative Fabrica pay their designers for downloads of their work.

Uf i bought the subscription at $47 a year will it be $47 next year for me
they probably will renew your for that amount - as long as you continue to pay $47 (so make sure you budget for it). As soon as you cancel your subscription you will lose access to everything you downloaded as part of your subscription and you will probably be charged a higher, monthly fee if you decided to get back on. It happened to me. I had accidentally gotten a monthly subscription and didn't have the means, at the time, to keep paying it so I cancelled the subscription. Now, it gives me the option for paying $29/month for a subscription. LOL. I love the site and I would def pay $47/year, but they're crazy if they think I'll pay $29/month. I can just make my own versions of stuff I like on there - I use it now like I use Google, Pinterest, or Etsy - as inspiration for my own creations. Buy yeah, if you can afford $47/year - it's an amazing site with amazing resources. Especially for small business owners or people who can draw or aren't really creative. If you ever cancel your $47/yr sub - it might cost you way more when you want to get it back. CF will remember you.

Wow didn't know about it am gonna take advantage of it. Can i edit the text on a png or svg file and add my own text instead of the one that's already but keep the same colors/fonts; How do i do that pls;
Sometimes the designer includes an SVG file, and if they do, you can use that inside of Photopea or Illustrator to change elements

@@smaglyuk.m I don't really know. Like I feel better when I 100% own the designs and make them myself and can print them all I want. I know I'm shooting myself in the foot here. I always alteast need to adjust their designs enough so that they are unique in some way. I know Its such a weird way of going about it.

can i put my logo on a design after purchasing it?
You can't put your logo on a design even after purchasing IF you assume that putting your logo on it makes it yours or copyrighted. You have a non-exclusive use of the images you purchase which means anyone can purchase the same designs and no one has a right to claim, license, trademark, or copyright those designs because you didn't, in fact, create or commission them. You are just 'renting' them. The designs belong to the people who designed then and to Creative Fabrica who provides the vehicle for marketing and selling them. To be clear - you CAN put your logo on a CF design, but so can anyone else. The design you purchase does not become a part of your logo and it does not become yours by doing so. So you probably shouldn't if you want your logo to uniquely identify your brand and be able to control who uses it and how it's used.
