Love the video and content but a misconception about POD is that you need minimal money start which isn’t true depending on what you selling. Digital vs physical products In order for your POD provider to “fulfill” customer orders you absolutely need money. You pay them first before ever receiving money from the market place you’re selling on. Why because you have to pay your POD provider to produce your sale. Yes you don’t need to house any inventory ect etc but you absolutely need to front money to your POD provider meaning you pay for your customers purchases upfront, the POD provider then produces the product and ships it out to your customer. keep in mind that wherever your selling on Etsy, Shopify, FB market place, Walmart or any other platform that allows POD sellers you yourself are paying for your customers orders upfront. Then once the sale is complete and your order is shipped the market place will actually hold your money for a period of time to ensure customer payment and satisfaction. Then and only then will they release payment to the vendor “you” and take their cut from you being a vendor on their platform. I think is this such an oversight when watching UA-cam videos. You absolutely need some sort of capital to start a POD business. Simply because if you make a product that pops off and it’s a $10 and you contract Printify to make, manufacturing and ship your product to the customer and you get 100 sales in your first week. That’s $1,000 your paying Printify to “fulfill “ those orders before Etsy, Amazon, Walmart, ect even pay you which can take several weeks after you’ve already made the sale. Then you need to calculate any items returns etc. It’s not all about creating listings with no money and the sales start flowing in. It’s a business and business takes capital to start, grow, and cash flow to maintain. It’s a great business on you can run remotely but it’s not all sunshine and rainbows. Take my comment for what it’s worth but know this. If you get into POD it’s truly a business and you need to treat it like one.

I can’t see prices on products. How do you see what they offer. I want to do bulk custom design, print and then sell.

I have a ShineOn account. Question can I create a Canva website showing images of my products and have a buy now button with a link to my ShineOn checkout. page. This way I will not need to use Shopify as an online store.

I just watched this video. I'm pretty new to using my Etsy store, and I've been slowly getting things up and going. I have almost 100 products listed, with the majority being Mugs and Ornaments. I really appreciated this video, as it answered the exact question I had going through my mind. I've had a store on Etsy for years but never used it, so I restarted it in May, and I can't get anything to sell. I've had tremendous sales on eBay over the years, but this is proving difficult. Hi @JacobKnowles, thank you for the video. With the custom jewelry you showed at the start, I am trying to enter this niche, but having a hard time figuring out the suppliers. Clearly awkward styles or other online PODs like ShineOn and printify do not have that kind of variety
