Actually, she originally started her business on Etsy, but left the platform to avoid potential copyright issues. At the time, she was selling copied merch designs for a popular boyband member (that's how she initially gained a following), and his team began targeting shops for copyright infringement. After leaving Etsy, she pivoted to a mental health-focused brand, and she then started going after other Etsy sellers/small businesses, claiming they were infringing on her 'trademarked' designs, like sleeve details-trademarks she didn’t actually hold. For someone advocating mental health, her actions caused a lot of stress for small business owners. Quite the role model, right?
She doesn’t do Print on Demand, she buys in stock and has a warehouse. She’s on UA-cam, too, her channel is ‘See the Way I See’. Her marketing is masterful though!
You don't understand. The process is use print on demand to test which products your own traffic will buy. You will have one best selling item out of a dozen items. Keep that one best selling item and have it mass-produced at a lower price for you, sell that one best selling item at the next drop along with 9 more new designs that are sold through print on demand. On the 2nd drop you will have 2 best selling items. Delete the 8 items that aren't best sellers and create 8 new items that will be sold with the two best selling items on the 3rd drop. Repeat until you have 10 best selling items. DO NOT keep any items in your store that are not best selling items. Keep repeating the process as trends fade out. The print on demand is only used to find the best selling items, and after they are found then have them mass-produced. This is exactly how you start a winning clothes drop business for free.
@@Nova-m8d I *do* understand. And, it’s much, much harder to replicate her ‘drop’ method with POD. Start a clothing brand? Sure. Market through social media? Yes. Replicate the drop? Good luck with that!
@@KestrelAUS No, you still don't understand any of it, The customer has no idea If it's print-on-demand or your own factory. You don't get it and really there's no way to help you understand because you're focused on you can't do anything so you won't do anything except talk about how you can't.
@@KestrelAUSYea. It’s almost always negligible without building that audience first. No matter how encouraging a UA-camr POD mentor wants to make it out to be. There’s the rule of: when you know a business channel is dead, pivot to teaching it and you’ll find success. Let’s be real. No matter how honest and earnest they are, they’re teaching content that is almost always unviable or slowing down for them and that’s the reason they’re not doing it themselves. No matter who tells you what, your product cannot survive without an audience and it takes a long time to build one. And if you’re not a social media person, good luck to you.
Although but isnt that a great move. At least she was able to push through even as a lady. And about the challenges, nobody said she didnt face one but her inputted effort worth it. ”No matter the little or large amount of effort you contributed in something you will surely get compansated.
Luck is indeed a huge factor. Also, having had that audience behind it. And to have an audience, you also need to be lucky. Maybe about 10% of it wasn’t luck and can be attributed to having a good product. But in the saturated world of POD merch, it’s almost always mostly luck.
Jason you are the truth! Thanks so much. You have provided so much value in one short video. I love marketing and this appeals to me. Thanks so much. New Sub!!
So who can you refer or suggest we use that can post our merchandise on social media so we can concentrate on the creative side? Which video to watch about this subject? Interested
You have explained not one thing that is worth my time. We need to know how she got her traffic. Not how what print on demand companies do. This is a waste of time. The main item you should focus on for the whole video is her and her traffic sources, what started the buzz to her sight, bout her groups, how long she took to get it working and main posts that generated interest. These rest we can get from watching youtube video from companies..stop the vague nonsense shit 😂
Hey jason , really nice video ! I was wondering if I could help you with more Quality Editing in your videos and also make a highly engaging Thumbnail and also help you with the overall youtube strategy and growth ! Pls let me know what do you think ?

Not saying this isnt true but people write false comments all the time. Do you have proof of any of this one can look up?
@SunDreamer555 absolutely, I understand that. All of the proof though is still online if you'd like to verify its veracity.
Wow. Unbelievable
Thats right. Having your own website is key to many things. In fact this has been the rule since the "beginning" of internet.

Exactly

Thanks for the video but this isn't about her this is an advertisement for Gelato
260k in one of her drops. But I want to see how she went from zero to that point.
She’s not genuine at all! She only started making videos once she was making big money and never shows the real challenges of the business.
Although but isnt that a great move. At least she was able to push through even as a lady. And about the challenges, nobody said she didnt face one but her inputted effort worth it. ”No matter the little or large amount of effort you contributed in something you will surely get compansated.
Thank you for your work, Jason! I think she just got lucky.

If we used a POD company and got the traffic she got, would we have to pay the POD provider for all those orders before they would fill the orders?
Order comes in, you pay the POD company, order is prepared and shipped out. With some companies it's even automated.
Fourthwall won't charge you upfront. I recently started using them for a new venture I started.
Jason you are the truth! Thanks so much. You have provided so much value in one short video. I love marketing and this appeals to me. Thanks so much. New Sub!!
Jason will Gelato takes care of returns, questions, complaints etc? I heard there is a passive and active POD company out there.
She doesn't do POD its her stock.
I can literally see that she has a warehouse. Its very obvious tho.
In this case it IS about the quality. It’s more than just the drop. Doesn’t anyone know where she gets her specific blanks or has her printing done?
She uses cut and sew garment manufacturers. Talks about it a lot in her videos.
So who can you refer or suggest we use that can post our merchandise on social media so we can concentrate on the creative side? Which video to watch about this subject? Interested
she doesn't do pod, this isn't really a good example
He's HeatherStudio right?
I was thinking the same thing.
how we can make traffic in our site without etsy?
Etsy is a potential platform, through videos I learned a lot of good knowledge. But can you suggest me how to start selling POD on it
merchize from vietnam, their products is great
This is great but how do you create your own avatar to use for your own ugc content? That's another app yes?
Can't wait for your next one!

This video is amazing! What is this women's name and where can I find her youtube videos about how she is doing this?
but how does she gain profit including shipping fee and product fee?
❤ absolutely helpful
Hey can you help me in creating an etsy account because in my country etsy is banned I will give you etsy fees and your charges also
I can help you that
So why would anyone but this after seeing it on her website ? Jason ?
Guruji please tell the way even Indian or Asian people earn like this
Where is she now? No movement on her page....
She’s not genuine at all! She only started making videos once she was making big money and never shows the real challenges of the business.

What is FOMO???
Fear of Missing Out
Hi Jason, I just subscribed, I hope you release the video you mentioned at the end you would release soon, looking forward to that.
I don’t think this was a great breakdown of her methods at all, this was like a sale for print on demand and Shopify.
Hey jason , really nice video ! I was wondering if I could help you with more Quality Editing in your videos and also make a highly engaging Thumbnail and also help you with the overall youtube strategy and growth ! Pls let me know what do you think ?
Gelato products are expensive.
Fact check pls!
She’s not genuine at all! She only started making videos once she was making big money and never shows the real challenges of the business.
He said that in the video. But that we can still use her Drop method with POD.
What Fake is this? She has already have tons of shirts before selling one? She must have been a millonaire before!
She’s not genuine at all! She only started making videos once she was making big money and never shows the real challenges of the business.
