It takes a few months of real hard work to get it up and going but just make sure you are SUPER ready for the holidays and then you should be able to make that much per month no problem. I'd set a goal of 500 designs for Halloween and 500 designs for Christmas. This will put you in a great spot to get tons of sales!

Hi Cassiy. I've been using Creative Fabrica for just over a year with a subscription. Now, I got in with the $1, then $19 thereafter, which is a great deal. I have a question. How do you justify in your own company the $19 per month if you are not creating new designs each month? I struggle with this a lot because my Etsy store is new and am barely making sales. But the graphics are just so darned cute at Creative Fabrica... I have so many ideas, just very little time to create my side hustle, but I'd hate to cancel it. I've gone 2 almost 3 months not creating anything and that's $38 going on $57 and I haven't created anything new.. I'm just wondering how you feel about that? Maybe a new video? Thank you very much for this video... One question, when paying for the membership and downloading fonts or any illustrations to create t-shirts, if I eventually cancel the Creative Fabrica membership, would I have to remove the t-shirts for sale in my Etsy store? Or do you simply mean that I can't use them again for new products created after the cancellation of Creative Fabrica? Thank You!
If you use designs that are made as is already, then you need to take those down if you cancel. If you use graphics and fonts or even just fonts to make a design, then you can keep them up after cancelling but just aren't supposed to use them to make any more designs after cancelling!

Thank you! This was very helpful. It kinda seemed too good to be true to just use some of these designs even with the full POD license and I had wondered if it was possible people may steal and upload designs on there and then us sellers get hit with copyright infringement! I will be sure to add some other elements to these designs. So if there’s a full design with image and words that I get and I add stars or flowers to it, would that be considered a different piece of work and not get copyright infringement even though it’s essentially the same design? It just makes me paranoid when people steal so much of others work! It’s hard to know what we can actually use! I appreciate you making these videos 😊
Love Creative Fabrica!!! I dont have a subscription because sometimes you can find graphics and fonts dirt cheap. I'm talking ten cents or on the high end $1. I usually try to buy the pod license so I dont have to worry about that cancellation. Thanks for this video. It's a lot of fun and you can search for hours.

the one thing that doesn’t make sense to me is when i was under the free trial license it said that after the trial ends you can no longer reuse the designs but didn’t say anything about deleting them from your pod site.

You mentioned that you can no longer create new designs to sell after cancelling the subscription, but what if you don't have a subscription at all but you downloaded the free fonts & art provided to the public on Canva? Hi Stephanie! I use Canva to make all of my designs since they have a really easy to use design program and then if they have the graphic I want, then I use them. Creative Fabrica I use when I can't find the graphic I am looking for, if I want to get something like mock-ups or new fonts! So I really think you need Canva and you can get Creative Fabrica if you want extra options if that makes sense. If you use different design software then you may only want Creative Fabrica but honestly they have such different selections, I just really like having both.

I watched videos like this, opened a shop, and made 160 designs. Now I'm seeing people on forums saying you are only allowed to use pod with your own designs, commercial license or not. I have invested money and so much time.
Hi Karina! Thanks for watching! If you get an infringement, usually you get a couple warnings first, but Etsy has the power close your shop for infringing.
Thank you very much for this video Cassiy. I watch almost every video you make, some of them multiple times. I am doing Christmas designs. Your advise was "just use fonts and graphics to make new designs, just to be safe and always have something unique! " ( I have the subscruption ) SO for one Christmas design I have to look at 2 places, Fonts and Graphics? I feel that this design making will be very slow. It is very stressful and in 2 days working 2 hours + a day I only have 50 designs. I hope that you will still reply to this message, since this video was made 3 month ago. You CAN use the remade designs if you'd like, I just like to make my own. But also try to focus on making "scalable designs" where you make it once and then just change the words. This will make your life so much easier. In one of my videos about "design a best seller with me" I made a cute Halloween design that said "Spooky mama" then I changed out "mama" for "nurse" and you can keep changing this a bunch of times to have lots of different version with only making one base design. Same thing with Christmas. Put together a cute graphic/font combination and then just change the words to different best selling sayings that you find. Don't feel like you need to go back to the drawing board and find a different font/graphic every time you go to design! Hope that helps

If I get the $1.00 access pass that's linked below, is that the same as the all access subscription? 2.) Do I still have to pay additional fees for Full POD licenses on each product that I select? 3.) With the full POD license can I put the designs on shirts without modifying them at all and then sell them?
Hi Caitlin! So glad you are enjoying my channel, that really means so much to me!! 1. The 1$ is a free trial of the all access subscription and gives you all the same benefits, you just get charged $1 for the first month and then automatically get charged $19/month after that until you cancel. 2. There are no additional fees, the $19/month covers everything! 3. Yes with the POD license you could list designs as is for sale but then would have to take these down if you ever cancel the subscription. SO I recommend making some changes to every design so its more unique and then you get to leave the listings up if you ever cancel the sub. Hope this helps!

This video helped answer a lot of my questions, thank you so much! However I still have one question that I can't seem to find an answer for anywhere and hoping you could help me with it. I sublimate my own shirts, and other items, and sell the physical product, no third party like with POD. Can I download a graphic with a commercial license, make no changes, sublimate it, and sell it on my Etsy shop? Or does the same rule apply, where I would be better off just doing that same thing but with a full pod license? I hope you can answer my question and again thank you so much for the questions you have already answered!
Everything will work exactly the same for you as it would for the print on demand sellers as it is just a full commercial use license to make no changes to it and sell as is. So again I don't super recommend doing that but you are definitely able to!

Hello! No just stop using the fonts for new creations but you have a Commercial license since you changed it from the original (by making words with that font) to continue selling it even after cancelling because you made the design when you had the subscription.

Hmm I have no intentions of moving on to any other shirts, I have been really happy with the quality of the Bella shirts, there are many great colors, great prices and I already have spent tons of money on great mock-ups. I think sometimes its best to keep it simple!
@@EdThompson Sweatshirts absolutely! But no I don't sell any other t-shirts. I use the Gildan 18000 for sweatshirts, I also have found success selling mugs, tote bags and accessory pouches on Printify. I will make a video soon about some of these other products! Thanks for the idea

I make one design and then repurpose it to 50 different niches (or more!) when I am designing!
Hi Cassiy! Thank you so much for this video. If I bought a design and it says 'Lifetime license for personal and commercial use' do I have to buy the POD license instead? Also, do I have to give the creator credit in my Etsy listing if I'm putting it on a mockup?
Yes you do need the POD license to sell the design as is on Etsy. If you make changes to it, then it is covered under the commercial license. You don't need to credit the creator. I'd recommend going and reading the license yourself real quick to make sure you understand it fully!
I really hope I can get an answer to my question! I am a subscriber to CF. I downloaded a bundle of clip art and made a design using some of the pieces. I added a line of text with the design. I know I can sell the shirts I make with this but what I need to know is this...Can I sell ready to press sublimation prints of my png? I'm not intending to post and sell online, just through the mail if and when someone asks.

I think you are supposed to have posted them while you have the subscription but as long as you modify it, I'd assume you are fine. You are also welcome to just buy items one by one as you want them and get the license that way!

I can’t tell which is which, nor do I know which fonts are CF fonts. Can you do a tutorial on have to save and follow graphics from any site in case you have to delete them. I am totally confused I thought that all of the decals were ok to use and sell how do I know what is good to sell and what’s not I’m trying to start a T-shirt business and want a good decal website or maybe I should just buy the decals.

No you are more than welcome to just buy and use whatever you'd like from their website instead! Might as well use the free trial though to get one month free if you want to grab some stuff from there!

I don't know if you will respond to this comment as this video is already a couple of months old, but I am just now getting around to listening to this one even though I've had it on my watch later list for a while! Anyways, my question is, what about on the Etsy side of things? For some reason I was under the impression that in order to sell print on demand on etsy, we had to do all the designs ourselves. So it is okay to buy graphics from creative fabrica, modify or edit them, and then sell them on our designs on etsy? In one of your trial videos, I believe it was the tote bag, you had definitely bought a creative fabrica design and uploaded it to the bag for the review/video. I'm assuming that was just for examples sake and that you weren't going to sell that as is? If you respond to this, thank you and I hope that my question is clear enough!
Hello yes happy to respond Hannah! Yes I was just using the CF design as an example in that video. Etsy just wants there to be unique items, so make them your own in some way! Add a design to a new product it's not on yet, add your twist to the design etc. You are not expected be able to draw every graphic you use, you are able to use graphics from sites like canva and cf.

Once someone signs up to Creative Fabrica, maybe paying the annual fee. Are there other costs involved, per download for example? Or can you download all content without any additional costs? Also, is there a limit to the number of downloads allowed? My Freepiks subscription allows for 100 downloads a day, how does this compare?
Question about the commercial license. I found a graphic (with commercial license) and want to make a magnetic bookmark with it to sell i would have to change it first?
My Creative Fabrica doesn't look like yours. I don't have the option to search like you do. When I do a search it will only bring up a specific shop. Is this because I don't have all access?
So I see CF as not as a resource to freely download fonts with a subscription. Being the usage rites stop upon cancelation, this is equivalent of only renting fonts instead, equivalent to music companies like Napster, correct?
I'm confused on the pricing. Say a graphics says it costs $10 then another graphic has no price, if you have the plan are all items on their site free?
I don’t really get what happens when you get something that’s POD licensed, let’s say you use it without customizing, but then you see someone else on Etsy selling the exact same shirt design .. I took mine down .. but wouldn’t that happen because both people are getting it of the same place? Normally I would change things up but the reason why I used this design without changing it, is because it didn’t really make sense to put much changes to it.
As many people as they want can use those designs so that’s the risk you run is just being the same as everyone else if you use the same exact design. So you can either make all your own ones or try to stand out by offering it on a different product or more unique color

I have the yearly access and I intend to keep for a long time 🙈. Another question is if I like a design and remove the text, add in my own , can I print at home and sell? Yes, you can make physical stickers from their designs to sell, just not as a download - Your second question - yes - It's advisable to change the images that you download to make them your own.

If you are using a print on demand service then you ALWAYS need to select that other company or person made it since they are the ones actually printing the item. Then you add your pod partner to the listing and select them every time. If you are hoping to just resell the digital file, then that is not allowed with that license.

Do you know if I can use the freebie fonts ... well, for free, i.e. without signing up, and forever? Because I'm wondering if it means I have to sign up for a free trial, and then I can only use 10 fonts for that free trial period, and then I have to pay for a subscription to keep using the "free" fonts?
Hiii…so if I want to sell apparel with graphics or embroidery designs from Creative Fábrica, i have to modify the designs in order to sell my apparel? Please. I am not interested in selling Disney etc. what are mockups?
If you get a graphic off of creative fabrica just adding a font with the graphics would be enough to be considered unique? Besides changing the color saturation on a graphic there isn’t much more you can change?
It depends on the graphic, you just want to make sure you are using it in a unique way and not just by itself and you should be mostly fine. In the examples in the video, they show you combining lots of different graphics into one new piece of artwork.
You said you’d have to delete your design if subscription is canceled but what if you just buy it outright with a commercial license with no subscription? I know it can’t be used “as is” but can it be used on POD shirts and used forever?
Yes if you buy something and use the "commercial license" so using it as a piece of a design that you made then you can just buy individual ones and keep it up forever!
I've seen some templates in Creative Fabrica I do have a membership that I pay yearly for and I'm kind of confused because I just recently purchased the membership I'm not sure if I can actually use the template as my own change a few things I'm kind of worried about it so I came to the best place and asked you please help me with this?

I’m looking to use some colouring books, but my store is digital print at home type stuff so if I downloaded these to sell for someone to download and print at home does the full pod licence cover for that or would it be not allowed because I’m selling on the files? Sorry I don't know specifically about coloring books but I don't think this would be changing it enough to count for the licenses to be able to leave your designs up after cancelling. I would recommend going and reading the license yourself to make sure you understand how it works in your situation!

Hi Cassiy. I've been using Creative Fabrica for just over a year with a subscription. Now, I got in with the $1, then $19 thereafter, which is a great deal. I have a question. How do you justify in your own company the $19 per month if you are not creating new designs each month? I struggle with this a lot because my Etsy store is new and am barely making sales. But the graphics are just so darned cute at Creative Fabrica... I have so many ideas, just very little time to create my side hustle, but I'd hate to cancel it. I've gone 2 almost 3 months not creating anything and that's $38 going on $57 and I haven't created anything new.. I'm just wondering how you feel about that? Maybe a new video? One question, when paying for the membership and downloading fonts or any illustrations to create t-shirts, if I eventually cancel the Creative Fabrica membership, would I have to remove the t-shirts for sale in my Etsy store? Or do you simply mean that I can't use them again for new products created after the cancellation of Creative Fabrica? Thank You!
If you use designs that are made as is already, then you need to take those down if you cancel. If you use graphics and fonts or even just fonts to make a design, then you can keep them up after cancelling but just aren't supposed to use them to make any more designs after cancelling!

It kinda seemed too good to be true to just use some of these designs even with the full POD license and I had wondered if it was possible people may steal and upload designs on there and then us sellers get hit with copyright infringement! I will be sure to add some other elements to these designs. So if there’s a full design with image and words that I get and I add stars or flowers to it, would that be considered a different piece of work and not get copyright infringement even though it’s essentially the same design? It just makes me paranoid when people steal so much of others work! It’s hard to know what we can actually use! I appreciate you making these videos 😊

Love Creative Fabrica!!! I dont have a subscription because sometimes you can find graphics and fonts dirt cheap. I'm talking ten cents or on the high end $1. I usually try to buy the pod license so I dont have to worry about that cancellation. Thanks for this video. It's a lot of fun and you can search for hours.

the one thing that doesn’t make sense to me is when i was under the free trial license it said that after the trial ends you can no longer reuse the designs but didn’t say anything about deleting them from your pod site.

You mentioned that you can no longer create new designs to sell after cancelling the subscription, but what if you don't have a subscription at all but you downloaded the free fonts & art provided to the public on Canva? Are these generic freebies allowed to be used forever as well? Or is there a time limit to when I have to create the new art by in order to sell it without repercussions?

Hi Stephanie! I use Canva to make all of my designs since they have a really easy to use design program and then if they have the graphic I want, then I use them. Creative Fabrica I use when I can't find the graphic I am looking for, if I want to get something like mock-ups or new fonts! So I really think you need Canva and you can get Creative Fabrica if you want extra options if that makes sense. If you use different design software then you may only want Creative Fabrica but honestly they have such different selections, I just really like having both.

Hi Karina! Thanks for watching! If you get an infringement, usually you get a couple warnings first, but Etsy has the power close your shop for infringing.

You CAN use the remade designs if you'd like, I just like to make my own. But also try to focus on making "scalable designs" where you make it once and then just change the words. This will make your life so much easier. In one of my videos about "design a best seller with me" I made a cute Halloween design that said "Spooky mama" then I changed out "mama" for "nurse" and you can keep changing this a bunch of times to have lots of different version with only making one base design.
Same thing with Christmas. Put together a cute graphic/font combination and then just change the words to different best selling sayings that you find. Don't feel like you need to go back to the drawing board and find a different font/graphic every time you go to design! Hope that helps

2.) Do I still have to pay additional fees for Full POD licenses on each product that I select?

1. The 1$ is a free trial of the all access subscription and gives you all the same benefits, you just get charged $1 for the first month and then automatically get charged $19/month after that until you cancel.
2. There are no additional fees, the $19/month covers everything!
3. Yes with the POD license you could list designs as is for sale but then would have to take these down if you ever cancel the subscription. SO I recommend making some changes to every design so its more unique and then you get to leave the listings up if you ever cancel the sub.

Hi Cassiy, thank you for this tutorial, your videos have helped me tremendously. But I'm a bit confused, I tried to purchase the subscription and Creative Fabrica tried to charge my card at $88 for the yearly all-access instead of $47.and for some reason your code isn't accepted for a discount.
This video helped answer a lot of my questions, thank you so much! However I still have one question that I can't seem to find an answer for anywhere and hoping you could help me with it. I sublimate my own shirts, and other items, and sell the physical product, no third party like with POD. Can I download a graphic with a commercial license, make no changes, sublimate it, and sell it on my Etsy shop? Or does the same rule apply, where I would be better off just doing that same thing but with a full pod license? I hope you can answer my question and again thank you so much for the questions you have already answered!
Everything will work exactly the same for you as it would for the print on demand sellers as it is just a full commercial use license to make no changes to it and sell as is. So again I don't super recommend doing that but you are definitely able to!

Hello! No just stop using the fonts for new creations but you have a Commercial license since you changed it from the original (by making words with that font) to continue selling it even after cancelling because you made the design when you had the subscription.

Hmm I have no intentions of moving on to any other shirts, I have been really happy with the quality of the Bella shirts, there are many great colors, great prices and I already have spent tons of money on great mock-ups. I think sometimes its best to keep it simple!

Hi Cassiy! Thank you so much for this video. If I bought a design and it says 'Lifetime license for personal and commercial use' do I have to buy the POD license instead? Also, do I have to give the creator credit in my Etsy listing if I'm putting it on a mockup?
Yes you do need the POD license to sell the design as is on Etsy. If you make changes to it, then it is covered under the commercial license. You don't need to credit the creator. I'd recommend going and reading the license yourself real quick to make sure you understand it fully!
I really hope I can get an answer to my question! I am a subscriber to CF. I downloaded a bundle of clip art and made a design using some of the pieces. I added a line of text with the design. I know I can sell the shirts I make with this but what I need to know is this...Can I sell ready to press sublimation prints of my png? I'm not intending to post and sell online, just through the mail if and when someone asks.

I think you are supposed to have posted them while you have the subscription but as long as you modify it, I'd assume you are fine. You are also welcome to just buy items one by one as you want them and get the license that way!

No you are more than welcome to just buy and use whatever you'd like from their website instead! Might as well use the free trial though to get one month free if you want to grab some stuff from there!

I don't know if you will respond to this comment as this video is already a couple of months old, but I am just now getting around to listening to this one even though I've had it on my watch later list for a while! Anyways, my question is, what about on the Etsy side of things? For some reason I was under the impression that in order to sell print on demand on etsy, we had to do all the designs ourselves. So it is okay to buy graphics from creative fabrica, modify or edit them, and then sell them on our designs on etsy? In one of your trial videos, I believe it was the tote bag, you had definitely bought a creative fabrica design and uploaded it to the bag for the review/video. I'm assuming that was just for examples sake and that you weren't going to sell that as is? If you respond to this, thank you and I hope that my question is clear enough!
Hello yes happy to respond Hannah! Yes I was just using the CF design as an example in that video. Etsy just wants there to be unique items, so make them your own in some way! Add a design to a new product it's not on yet, add your twist to the design etc. You are not expected be able to draw every graphic you use, you are able to use graphics from sites like canva and cf.

Question about the commercial license. I found a graphic (with commercial license) and want to make a magnetic bookmark with it to sell i would have to change it first?
My Creative Fabrica doesn't look like yours. I don't have the option to search like you do. When I do a search it will only bring up a specific shop. Is this because I don't have all access?
So I see CF as not as a resource to freely download fonts with a subscription. Being the usage rites stop upon cancelation, this is equivalent of only renting fonts instead, equivalent to music companies like Napster, correct?

I'm confused on the pricing. Say a graphics says it costs $10 then another graphic has no price, if you have the plan are all items on their site free?
I don’t really get what happens when you get something that’s POD licensed, let’s say you use it without customizing, but then you see someone else on Etsy selling the exact same shirt design .. I took mine down .. but wouldn’t that happen because both people are getting it of the same place? Normally I would change things up but the reason why I used this design without changing it, is because it didn’t really make sense to put much changes to it.
As many people as they want can use those designs so that’s the risk you run is just being the same as everyone else if you use the same exact design. So you can either make all your own ones or try to stand out by offering it on a different product or more unique color

Yes, you can make physical stickers from their designs to sell, just not as a download - Your second question - yes - It's advisable to change the images that you download to make them your own.

If you are using a print on demand service then you ALWAYS need to select that other company or person made it since they are the ones actually printing the item. Then you add your pod partner to the listing and select them every time.
If you are hoping to just resell the digital file, then that is not allowed with that license.

If you get a graphic off of creative fabrica just adding a font with the graphics would be enough to be considered unique? Besides changing the color saturation on a graphic there isn’t much more you can change?
It depends on the graphic, you just want to make sure you are using it in a unique way and not just by itself and you should be mostly fine. In the examples in the video, they show you combining lots of different graphics into one new piece of artwork.

Yes if you buy something and use the "commercial license" so using it as a piece of a design that you made then you can just buy individual ones and keep it up forever!
I've seen some templates in Creative Fabrica I do have a membership that I pay yearly for and I'm kind of confused because I just recently purchased the membership I'm not sure if I can actually use the template as my own change a few things I'm kind of worried about it so I came to the best place and asked you please help me with this?

I’m typing this before the end of the video but I’m a little curious as to certain things on there. I’m looking to use some colouring books, but my store is digital print at home type stuff so if I downloaded these to sell for someone to download and print at home does the full pod licence cover for that or would it be not allowed because I’m selling on the files? Sorry for the long winded comment but I thought you may know 😊
Sorry I don't know specifically about coloring books but I don't think this would be changing it enough to count for the licenses to be able to leave your designs up after cancelling. I would recommend going and reading the license yourself to make sure you understand how it works in your situation!
