While I appreciate the authentic restorations I think I prefer when someone customizes a restoration to make it their own or to make it more accurate to a real vehicle (colors, etc). Great job!
"Snowball Fight Kills 6" is the best tabloid headline I've seen in your paint booth, yet. The pin helmet is incredible, for that scale. You'd never know it wasn't molded like that.
Forget the Oscars and Cannes mate, you surpass them all!!!! I restore matchbox myself, the thought of putting the extra time in to video and make them entertaining too and ending up with the results you do leaves me shaking in the cupboard under the stairs!!!! Keep doing what you’re doing Marty!🤓
Marty, I really wanted to thank you for your content. It may sound silly but your videos were the only thing I looked forward to after my miscarriage in January. It may seem insignificant to some, but watching your videos brought me so much joy in such a dark time. Thank you so much.
I love seeing how creative you can get when you're not constrained by the limitations of the original design. I like seeing a model look factory new, but it's fun to see the possibilities too.
Hi Marty, loved the end of your video, lol, what a fantastic job you did with custome made Jaguar you really court the 1960s race seen very well keep up great work.
Kevin mowing!!! lmao 69! Yeah we all know why that’s your favorite number. 😎 That model turned out amazing! Love what you did with The interior and stickers.
One day I hope to find a peaceful place to get into this hobby. I've been buying old cars when I find them and stashing them away. Love the outcome of this one. Classic looking race car.
Amazing! You always do amazing custom or restoration jobs on your diecast. You gave this beaten up Jag another fifty years of display life if not more.
I've watch most of your redos. You truely are Master Marty Of Matchbox Makeovers. This is my alltime favourite with the British Racing Green and Union Jack. If it had been a 69 Mini ,I would have been speachless. A small dab of JB Weld on that back rivet post would have fixed it right up for drilling and tapping. Keep on with these most excellent and humourous postings.Glad to have found your videos.
Looks good Marty, ever thought of using crossed flags on the bonnet as on front ofcorgi aston 309 car. Why not put windscreen in the pine disinfectant to remove red paint?
A real beauty! A great day for E-Types! You did one. Timerider did one. Both are beautiful. It is one of the few cars that can actually be termed 'Iconic'. And none more so when painted British Racing Green. The Union Flag on the roof is the icing on the cake.
I love the creative narratives of your makeovers, as well as your astute editing skills. This outtake with Kevin is hilarious! Also love the bloopers at the ending. They show the sweatiness behind the genius. I used to have many Matchbox cars. They are long gone. The most favorite of mine is the Snow Trac with embossed lettering (not the one with the decals as shown on your Snow Trac video). I was into hot rods, but the Snow Trac was very different. When I saw your Snow Trac makeover, I was transported to my childhood years. Made me wish I took care of it better along with my other 60's era Matchbox cars. Oh well, such is life. Your work is magica! Thank you kind, Sir!
Thanks Virgil for taking the time to type this amazing post! It gives me a thrill to know that I have brought back some childhood memories to people such as yourself! - All the best Marty.
Top job Marty! A former boss I worked for had a convertible E type in British Racing Green with tan seats and black mats/door trims, always liked that colour combo.
Really enjoy your restorations, they’re perfect to watch whilst eating breakfast on a Sunday morning. Thank you from the UK 🇬🇧 😊 Although I am surprised, given your usual attention to detail, that you didn’t buff out or fill the dent above the front grill on the bonnet in this one
Fantastic job on the jaguar! And don't be to harsh with Kevin. After all he is just getting his groove on! Love the make overs. Thanks for sharing them.
Great job! One of my favorite memories was an owner allowing me to sit behind the wheel of his racing green E-type Jaguar many years ago. He was nice enough to let me after I truthfully told him it was my favorite model ever. The green on your model seems a it brighter than my memory of the green on the car, but memories fade. Awesome job on the screen and tires! Loved the decals as well. And I'm sure you like the number 69 only because it is your house number -- sure we do.
Kevin was spanking his monkey! LMAO
That's what happens when you don't bring him weed.
Harry Ballzack
No he was choking his chicken.
Draining his lizard
Darrin Lawton
Nah, he was lopin’ his donkey
… having a two-way with a three-toed sloth...
While I appreciate the authentic restorations I think I prefer when someone customizes a restoration to make it their own or to make it more accurate to a real vehicle (colors, etc). Great job!
Superb makeover!!! The Jaguar E Type is my favourite car. Love the helmet!
The pilot carrying the helmet turned out GREAT, it was such a creative idea to use a pin head!!!
Nice job Marty!
One of the best channels on UA-cam 💯👍🏻
Leyland Job agreed
I really enjoy your videos Marty! Thanks for sharing!

Great job on the Jaguar E type, Marty. 🦘🧔🇭🇲👍😁

Another well done make-over! Great, classic choices for color and decals!!!
Marty its the gift that keeps on giving! As a UK citizen an E Type in British racing green with a union flag is priceless! Thank you.
And timeless
Well done. Always enjoy your creativity. Keep it up.

So glad that I have helped you through your grief, it means so much to me how you have been touched by my channel!!
In 50 yrs time can you see folk doing restorations of die cast e-cars?? I can't!! Top job, great little car👍
If it's Saturday morning here in Texas, it's time for another Marty's Matchbox Makeover and another incredible repair job. Well done sir!
Brilliant work Marty, the final result looks exceptional.
It's about time Kevin earned his keep. Marty, I think you must be a genius. The more you do the better they get.

I love having my coffee with Marty on Saturday☕️
Rosemary Magrino innit I was sipping a mocha lovely
Im doing exactly that right now
Excellent job, way better than the original, I too am happy with that.
The car turned out awesome Marty, and its Kevin's lucky day I see you brought him some grass... A whole yard of it!
Hi Marty, loved the end of your video, lol, what a fantastic job you did with custome made Jaguar you really court the 1960s race seen very well keep up great work.
So look forward every week to you bringing back to life neglected old matchboxes , brings back childhood memories great stuff all the best from nz
Lovely makeover! You really transformed it, and it certainly looks like a proper E-Type.
Kevin mowing!!! lmao
69! Yeah we all know why that’s your favorite number. 😎
That model turned out amazing! Love what you did with The interior and stickers.
When you crash and land upside down, it still reads 69.
Another great video! Keep up the custom work. Love to see more of it! Loved the humor, as always. Overall thoughts: I’m happy with that!
Kevin is awesome , and that Jaguar painted in green looks perfect, thanks Marty !!
Can't stop watching! Thanks for the laughs Marty! Keep up the excellent work!
You usually don't customize the models, but I think this jag looks outstanding! Cheers
Good job! I especially like the way you made the helmet!
British racing green the only colour for the jaguar e type
Red is a close second :) but nothing else
I think my brothers TR6 was that green color.
I love what Rob did to this car on his channel ( Matchbox Garage )a couple months back. A definite keeper!
Always impressed with the before and after. Fantastic !
one of your fans from Pakistan 🇵🇰
Thank you for creating such awesome content.
Kevin is as lazy as me 😂
*Naya Pakistan
Absolutely magnificent car Marty you did a smashing job
The best restoration video so far. It turned out amazing 🤠👍. Greetings from Arizona, USA
really nice work i much prefer custom jobs rather than regular restorations!
You always have the most interesting newspaper in your spray booth 😂
Really loved how you played with colors and decals on the exterior and interior. Turned out fantastic.
Another cool casting restoration
You are amazing dear Marty! Simply great job!
One day I hope to find a peaceful place to get into this hobby. I've been buying old cars when I find them and stashing them away. Love the outcome of this one. Classic looking race car.
Brass wool is good for cleaning the tip of your soldering iron after use too. Great tip on masking tape bleed also.
Thanks for the upload Marty. Looking good, much better with the added detail. Love your added figures, the sitting figure looks a little like you.
use BRASSO metal polish on you acrylic windows, I'm a watchmaker and we use this to take off fine scratches and polish acrylic watch glasses
Nice work Marty! The Jag looks great and I loved the opening scene!
Marty- I'd love to see you do more towards detailing/painting the interior pieces (seats/steering wheels etc). on future makeovers!
Enjoy watching your makeovers.
“Unless you brought weed” 😂
What would a koala bear need with marijuana anyway
Sidney Green koala party time of course
Amazing! You always do amazing custom or restoration jobs on your diecast. You gave this beaten up Jag another fifty years of display life if not more.
Great ending, Marty. Thanks for the Saturday morning laugh.
Love seeing the Matchbox cars, bring back memories of the ones I had. You do good work!
Been a while since I've watched one of your videos. Happy to see you're at nearly 100k subscribers!
Keep up the fantastic work, mate!
Really like the customization, please do it more often.
That transparency came up a beaut’. 👊👍🏻
One of my favorite cars, both in real world and models. Well done. Another fine project.
Kevin being grounded it looks like and has to cut the grass.
The Jaguar Custom Job look nice!
The E Type Jag and the Spitfire......two of the most beautiful creations of mankind.
With you on the Spit... But personally, a Ferrari 260 Dino just beats a E-Type.
The opening about killed me."Keep out unless you brought weed". Classic... Thanks for the laugh and for your great videos, from San Diego CA USA...:)

Kevin is a naughty boy!!
Those stilts though
THANK YOU...for sharing. Absolutely beautiful.
Nice car🙂
Sounds like you are fighting a cold or something, hope that you have a rest.
Do more custom cars. I loved it ❤
When you walked in on Kevin I laughed so hard I peed myself !
Sure it wasn't an orgasim?
Kevin is a riot.
This has probably been on of my favorite models by far😊
Didn't you put the decal 69 on upside down?
YES, even the house number has been installed up side down
Congratulationes friend! From Mexico City

Don't like this. I LOVE it. The intro and outro were hilarious. As for the E Type.....better than Matchbox ever did it. What a great channel. Top man.
Thanks Sean, you sound like a fan! - I need plenty more of you please!

kevin mowing the lawn so he get another bag of weed ;0)
Another magnificent project. Would love to see your duplicate vehicles fitted with drivers or families 👍
If Kevin got her pregnant, what would the baby look like?
Great job on the E-type! One of my favorite cars.
Nice custom job mate. Oh that's why 69 is your Fav number
I love to watch your restoration videos to fall asleep. They are perfect for my afternoon naps. Cheers!
You're funny. Don't be perverted. Kids probably watch your videos.
Your kid shouldn't be watching youtube videos unsupervised.
You’re better than the telly me old mate. Keep buggering on!
Great detail work on this one. I loved the intro today..🤣. Keep up the great work!
Genius! Fantastic job!!
I just wish Kevin did his chores.
Lol superb... Well done marty, loved the beginning with Kev...
Great video. My son and I love watching each new one.
Marty, this is a thoroughly fabulous custom makeover. Work you should definitely be proud of.
Thanks for your kind comment Bryan!
I really loved this episode. Especially loved seeing the added details! Thanks Marty!
You are welcome Pauly7218, I'm pleased that you liked it.
Cracking save on this one. It's brilliant and I love the interior paint too.
Thanks Angus I appreciate your comment!
That E type Jaguar turned out beautiful! Happy to see that you were able to finally get Kevin to do some chores!!!!
Very nice restore. My favorite part is the windshield restoration. Great job looks brand new.
Marty, your kitchen is gorgeous! Look recently renovated.
Thank you for saying. It's about 4 years old now I think.
Really nice result. Always good to see Kevin. Team Kevin All The Way!
That is an excellent custom Marty, great job!
Top job Marty! A former boss I worked for had a convertible E type in British Racing Green with tan seats and black mats/door trims, always liked that colour combo.
I can just picture that and imagine that it looked great!
Beautiful job bringing this E Type back to life. Fit for any track. Good stuff.
Awesome job with the customisation Marty. Very enjoyable to watch you apply some creativity to the build. Looking forward to more like that!
Nice job, Marty! I quite like these custom restorations!

Just found your channel. Love what you did. And I definitely subscribed!
Thank you for doing customs, please do more of them. Maybe some wild paint.
