For me, Technology is not a metaphor, for health care. We definitely need more VR & Ai therapy. I am all for this transparency.
Great to see this being used like that. I just started going to PT this week!... Because of VR [technically it's my fault though]. 🙃
Pistol Whip, Beat Saber & Synth Riders + Strength Training + No rest = Bad idea 😹😹😹
It's awesome to hear that you're incorporating VR into your physical therapy routine, even if it's led to some unexpected challenges! Games like Pistol Whip, Beat Saber, and Synth Riders can provide a fun way to engage in physical activity, but it's essential to balance it with proper rest and strength training to avoid overexertion. Keep up the enthusiasm, but remember to listen to your body and take breaks when needed. 🙌
@@HTCVive Good advice. 😸👍
As a partially disabled user, I am still frustrated that the basic features can't be reconfigured to a horizontal orientation. Meta has a "lying down mode" and VR Chat has a great solution with its horizon adjustment feature.
I hope that someday Vive will have more accessibility features integrated into its software. Please at least consider your own need to access VR during times you are physically unable to use it upright due to illness or injury.
It's when you will want to get into a virtual environment most, I can promise that!
Your perspective is incredibly valuable, and we're sorry to hear about the frustration you've experienced. We're all about inclusivity and accessibility, so your feedback hits home. While our current setup might not offer the flexibility you're looking for, we're actively exploring ways to integrate more accessibility features into our software. Your insight is a reminder of the importance of accommodating users in various situations, including those who may need to access VR while lying down due to illness or injury. We'll definitely take your needs into consideration as we continue to evolve our offerings. Thanks for sharing your thoughts-it's folks like you who help shape the future of VR accessibility.
