I have a 2007 Club Car Precedent Golf Cart and can not get the "Park" brake to operate. It is not locking down. What do I need to do to fix this?
Do you have a video on how to remove brake cables. Driver side cable won’t reach after installing lift kit on club car precedent 2013. Was going to put a passenger side cable on.
My Club cart is a 2011. Will this help adjust my brakes? The PARK brake has to be pushed down with excessive force... THANK you!

I have a g22 yamaha occasionally when I hit the gas pedal it doesn't start , then if I retry it will start. I have replaced the battery, new starter generator, on/ off switch under the gas pedal, new voltage regulator, new ignition relay. Any suggestion on what it might be? Could it be the solenoid? Thanks for your help. I enjoy your videos they are helpful.
Shawn Weyandt This is one of those cases where you'll have to run test while the golf car is not engaging and check to see where the electricity stops or gets delayed. Start with the solenoid and make sure the voltage is instant when you depress the accelerator pedal. If good, leave the negative test lead on the small negative post of the solenoid and check across the large terminals to make sure voltage is the same on both sides and instant. If all good, make sure the brushes inside the starter are fully seated.

I have a 2005 clubcar precedent is it brake pads or brake shoes on the car.
Mine will lock up the rear wheels with just slight pressure on the pedal. Will this fix that?

Chris Johnson Yes, almost all golf carts brakes adjust the same way.
I have a 1999 TXT EZGO. Brakes are very loose and barely stops the cart. Is the brake adjustment similar to the one shown in this video? thanks

Can the brake drum be turned
I have to apply about 250lbs of standing on the pedal force to get my lifted Precedent to slow down in a quarter mile's distance... it is scary if you aren't thinking about breaking WAY ahead of time. The brake pedal is firm but absolutely NOTHING is happening to really stop the cart as I'm STANDING on the brake pedal. I've played hundreds of rounds of golf in my life and NEVER felt a cart with this poor braking ability. No noise... is this a shoe/pad/drum issue or a cable adjustment issue?

Good job. I have club cart 2011 when i push brake only brake one wheel . you can explain please why?
Could be whats normally called, cable stretch. One cable may have unwound just a bit allowing the other brake to engage first instead of at the same time. All you'll need to do is to adjust the brake thats not engaging.
