Thanks for tuning in as always, and I hope you liked this upload! Special thanks to @ChiknNougat for featuring in the intro. He's a great friend and is looking to break into content so check his channel out (linked in the description).
I'll see you all soon with new content too! We recently got an Elden Ring DLC trailer at long last so expect an upload about that soon. Cheers!
i like to imagine primitive Gobfin's used to hunt a much smaller primitive Orzerk, over time Orzerk developed electricity to ward them off, then when the Gobfin became weak our thunder dragon turned the tables, coming full circle when we go pal fluid hunting.
also cosidering Arsox seems vere similar to Gogoat i'm willing to bet it used to be a grass pal.
one thery about the pal/human thing is Pals are the product of science genetically altering unwanted humans.
Side Note: The sun rises and sets opposite to our own world. It's likely literally a different world of pals, separated from our own by unknown means.
One theory I've had about why eggs are often found in high, out of the way locations, especially for egg-types that dont match the area they're found in (aqua eggs on top of those giant tech pillars ext.) is that those are Nitewing nesting areas, with the eggs being kidnapped and waiting to hatch.
That makes a lot of sense!
According to the Castaway's Journal pals don't reproduce conventionally, an egg just pops up nearby after they do the thing.
@@elixxon not conventionally, but they still breed, the breeder is proof of that, and various paldeck entries talk about pal parenthood so even if it's not "conventional" they still reproduce and the eggs dont just come out of nowhere with no explanation, two pal parents are still involved.
They don't 'mate'. All that needs to happen to make an egg is for a male and female Pal to be near each other for a certain period of time. Then an egg appears out of nowhere.
The devs should let Spawn Nitewing everywhere to support your theory. That would make much sense
Have yall heard how people have come to the conclusion that Penking is actually a Fuack with a hat. I can see why the devs changed him name tho. Fuacking is just too easy.
Bushi should have a dark version where the sword becomes cursed if it dies dishonorably or has a strong grudge at death, and the next one to pick it up goes berserk and attacks anything nearby.
It'd be like if Bushi had Anubis from Jojo's! I love it!
wink wink we have one now :))))))) dunno if his bio says anything similar to your idea (haven't caught one myself to read), but we got is a dark sword man !!!
@truedevinity when I saw this comment I taught this was posted by a time traveler
crazy
Robinquill”s entry kinda explains why humans can be captured by pal spheres, since they’re close to pals where as in Pokemon, they’re entirely separate entities
There is some lore in pokemon that implies otherwise
So the penguin likes being stuffed in a rocket launcher just so it can fly again
5:59 The pengullet entry alludes to his pal skill being a rocket launcher.
I love Pengullet man they're so sweet.
39:20 I'd imagine the reason why you don't find Frostallion Noct naturally was because when it sealed away the calamity, it was either killed or was sealed away itself in the process.
Confirmed
Univolt's entry is my personal favorite. The dramatic irony of an Electric Type dying via lightning bolt, to the fall from grace into a "literal workhorse."
It is the hands-down, funniest entry in the entire deck.
Lovander being #69 is not a coincidence. Supposedly in the early alpha days of Palworld, Lovander had position #49 in the Paldeck. Some Alpha-testing memer saw this and suggested it be changed to #69 due to the pal’s heavily sexually-charged nature, and the devs went along with it 😂
That's legendary 🔥
Very true. I played it on release and saw it was 49. I was disappointed it wasn't 69. Glad the devs fixed that.
What’s with the number 69 anyway? Just curious.
@@Omega_the_stoopid_marine
Did you find the answer that you where looking for by chance?
Ehhh, there's no way they don't know by now, right? Well if they're a kid they aren't supposed to know
Great video, one thing that gets me thinking maybe the "darkness' in Frostallion Noct's dex entry is the fog cast over the island.
Wait a minute... that's actually a great point!
Soemthing interesting about the Palpagos islands is that they dont seem to be a confined space in the world, but more like a digital world entirely. From the infinitely spawning Chikipi to how compatible Pals are in breeding. It seems like our player is more likely in a Digimon world rather than a Pokemon world.
Vanwyrm and Vanwyrm Cryst's entries imply that the ancient society of the Palapagos Islands may have been warlike. Now, we're not sure how those wars were conducted, but possibly involved humans alongside Pals.
I'm guessing that Frostallion & Frostallion Noct are the reason that the moment it gets dark it's suddenly cold enough for your character to freeze to death even in more tropical looking areas of the map.
Nope, that's just how real world deserts work ^_^
@pyrosfolly5698 I know that's how deserts work. I said tropical such as the places that look almost like Hawaii. Or is everywhere with palm trees a mini desert rather than tropical in Palworld? One of the only places that doesn't try to freeze you at night is the volcano.
In the real world, with the extreme temperature changes & hot areas being right next to freezing areas (ex: volcano next to frozen feybreak) the islands in Palworld would suffer extreme storms ,including tornadoes, constantly yet there's not even rain.
when flambell cries it exposes the lava to oxygen which creates exothermic reation which would heat it up - look at it as its adding oxygen to the flame.
hope this helps.
thank you for this 😭i’m so obsessed with this game i want to know everything about it, keep em coming coming
No problem glad to be of service! 🫡
I like to think the fog around the island is a combination of the eternal winter and eternal darkness of both frostallions
I think each one saved a particular island, where each of those writings would have originated. We just havent seen the dark island yet.
Then again, I could be completely off base.
@@noahblevins9569 Frostalion Noct is one of the sealed bosses in Feybreak.
I like how Jormuntide Ignus is said to have been falsely arested and killed, and it takes revenge on people who wrong him, and that's probably why it's at the nature preserves because the law enforcement is most commonly seen there. Also, why are we able to breed Jormuntides?
They are not legendaries that's why. However they should be. The alpha possess the water type emperor trait like Anubis and Blazamut. Those 3 should be legendaries
36:39 bro I almost choke laughing with this one 😂😂😂😂 ty for the video!
Astegon, Helzepher, Menastong, Dark Mutant. The Horsemen.
And as for Frostallion Noct, I'm guessing you getting it only through breeding is it being reborn, implying that it sacrificed itself to stop the disaster.
True
@@everberonIf I had to take a stab at guessing which is which, I believe Astegon would be War, mostly judging by his burly, aggressive appearance. Menasting would be Famine, he's hollow inside like an empty stomach, and constantly shoving people inside to consume them like it's starving. Helzepher is hard to place, though I'm leaning towards it being Pestilence. The Dark Mutant, whatever it's name is going to be, likely represents Death, since traditionally he's the last of the Horsemen to appear. And this would fit with the theme of Palworld, as it's pretty clear they already borrow heavily from several other real world religions and mythologies for their creatures.
DUDE I've been looking for a video of someone reading the Paldeck! Thanks Man!
Lmaooo yes you were
Great vid. Palworld is a gem of a game. Even if it gets shut down there is a full game here to enjoy!
11:11 - Turns out, given the Sakurajima DLC, no. It was because of Lullu. Seems like climate change was fake all along...
... Much like in real life.
Stalion Nox makese sence with content not yet in the game but hinted at in the jornals.
Frostalion - Saved the island by casting by freezing something on the furthest north island, whatever it is, is now frozen below the ice island.
Nox - saved the island by casting it into eternal darkness. this means there is a land mass somewhere that is dark but no such landmass currently exsists or dose it.
in the castaway jornal they speak of a island that has seemed to have just vanished over night, to our knowlage the castaway is the only one that has seen or talks about this mystery island. and it seems to tie in with the "Mewtwo" who also looks like a dark type.
right now the idea is the Nox version "Chained" the "Mewtwo" to the island in the bottom right corner (a huge empty area) then cast the island into a kind of shadow realm or used the same kind of power that the tree might have, that being not being able to see it from the outside world, the tree has the power to do it to the whole chain of islands but Nox as a lengendary only has the power to do it to a single island.
so the theory for the future island that the Nox power will weaken enough for the player to now see this island the castaway says just vanished south of spawn and we will have to go there to defeat "Mewtwo"
I feel the same way. There will likely be an island added later which is in eternal night with the Frostalion Nox alpha on it similar to the frozen island the normal Frostalion Alpha can be found on.
I didn't think about Nox's entry like that until you mentioned it...
Man...
You where open about why you did this....but honestly i saw paldeck and i was here for that.
This is a fantastic idea. I know I miss out on a lot of things because I don't read the extra stuff. I have kids and responsibilities so I don't want to use the time reading everything when I could be playing the game. With this I can listen to everything while at work and learn the stuff I didn't get a chance to read. I have yet to read any of the paldeck, memos, note, journals any of it really.
Glad I could be of some assistance!
I wonder if the mist around the island is from Frostallion. I doubt it but still
Edit: Just noticed the big tree isn't far from Frostallion location. Maybe staying close to the source of a previous Calamity they stopped, or maybe a rising Calamity. Maybe this one is for the one who stops a coming calamity ? Just food for thought.
The thick fog surrounding the palpagos island hiding it from outside the world is one of the biggest mysteries in Palworld Lore.
20:35 I experienced something similar to this entry.
I use to think Univolt was a legendary Pal until i saw a level 10 one out in the wild.
When you consider how Killamari is held when used as a glider, you suddenly realize just how easily it could turn on you if it wanted to.
Treat your squid gliders with kindness.
20:15 you have now earned my respect for like the objectively best pal in the game
With all the ruined technology, all those half buried shipping containers on the volcano island, and the shipping container u can make that has a "palworld" logo with a lamball and cativa decal on it; my head cannon is Palworld was a company that created designer organisms. Whether it was some kinda theme park or an industrial complex idk.
I've never read Nitewing's description before. A real "Daww-oh no" moment. But whoops I should have looked at the date of this video. It sure is out of date now. But still, damn interesting and worth the watch!
Here is something I think is strange: If one reads the journals of the castaway, it says..the castaway first named the Pals "Pals". In later entries, the castaways' journals tell how the castaway ran into a tower of one of the bosses. Yet..the bosses call the Pals ..."Pals"...and since the bosses were on the island first.... they have named the Pals first. Yes? / No ?
Yeah a bit counterintuitive for sure.
And here I thought I was done with 136/136... there is a 137... Eiphodian Aqua...
That and Reptryo Cryst were my final ones. Hidden stuff
10:57 Lullu's Paldeck entry can shed some light on what's causing the hay fever
Given that Bushi's name is derived from the romanticized samurai code of Bushido, its entry is likely a play on Japanese folklore regarding swords being tied to the souls of the samurai who wielded them.
the pollen thing has almost nothing to do with GW. Its all because a bunch of city planners decided it would be a good idea to plant all male trees to prevent fruiting.
I really want to see "mundane" forms of pals in later patches I think a neutral daedream, Arsox, and Chillet would give the type as a whole more viability for monotype teams
Hangyu should clearly have been named "Tearyu."
I listen to this while playing pal world, THANK YOU FOR THIS VIDEO ♡♡♡
Palworld may have dark-humor satire, but damn it I love it because it reintroduces the idea of not taking things seriously or holding anyone to any higher standards: just have fun. And it has been, very much so.
Cremis is my favorite Pal, personally.
P.S. I have a theory on the pollen-increase and funnily enough it doesn't stem around global warming, but rather the poaching and transferring of Pals around their world. It wouldn't be unthinkable to move a Mammorest Cryst with possibly-extinct plant seeds to a warmer climate, where those preserved seeds could be thawed out and either catch the wind or be grown and ultimately lead to an outburst of flora that modern Pals aren't familiar with and jumpstart their immune systems, causing them to sneeze or get sick. This is all conjecture based on the entry for the Cryst version.
Another great video!
I was so confused when I saw a gumoss with a flower. Now I’m mad I didn’t catch it
I watched a Chikipea single-handily kill a syndicate thug.
The Warsect napalm reference implies the existence of world war I and 2 because napalm was created in world war 2.
This video will go into my "favorite" playlist, which I rarely add anything into it.
Thank you, it is quite the honor 🫡
Assuming it hasn't been removed, one of the the shorts or short vids on PocketPair's channel shows the Sibelyx deck entry in motion. Also, not 100% sure, but think Dumud, Blazamut, and Quivern may be pronounced Dumb-mud, Blaze-a-moot, and ether kwiv-ern or kwhy-verm
Dumud makes sense. Idk how I didn't catch that lol. You're probably right about the others too. I'm gonna try and find that short because it sounds adorable!
Arsox might be related to Rooby, I'd assume it'd be a relationship like primeapes and lemurs
i think ribunny hasnt shown its tentacles to us. it is cthulu reincarnated
It's literally sylveon but palworld 😂
14:00 oh no man, take it literally. Why? Because it happened to me and a few other pals actually...
Robinquil's evolution thing parodies real-world pokemon lore that has essentially been confirmed now, thanks to the teraleak. Pals and pokemon apparently branched evolutionary lines from humans as the two species mated in the distant past.
Grintale and Leezpunk are my favorites. Grintale makes me smile every time I see it.
In regards to the "Pal evolution diverged from humans" topic, it seems to be yet another jab at Pokemon, where in gen 4 and 5 you can find old texts that depict Pokemon evolving into, or from, humans, and even cross-species mating.
They should add more story and contents. There is so much work to do
i hate reading , but i love you reading this for me while i do things :D so you get a like no questions asked !
I had to jump off a cliff to escape my first telaxosaurus oh boy indeed
Imagine if u go out of the map and a gigantic pal eats you like a sea monster 😅
13:49 - I think they might just be taking the piss to read like how some early Pokemon dex entries read. I'm particularly recalling Machop's entry in FireRed which includes "Even though it's the size of a human child, it can hurl 100 grown-ups." No serious scientific encyclopedia would ever read like this. That being said, I do agree that it's difficult to know if Melpaca's entry is literal or not. I'm leaning towards not, because Melpaca doesn't seem to have a unique kicking active ability.
For sure, I love how satirical the whole thing is... but just to be safe, I'll stand clear of Melpaca 💀
Great video. Thanks.
Glad you liked it!
15:33 It's been 10 months and I'm only now seeing that they have the same damn horns!
love the video man, idk how much of a spoiler this is but the bushi entry reminds me of fire emblem three houses. There are some weapons that are made from the bones of saints that only their future ancestors can really use.
Yo that's a cool idea I like that concept a lot! Someone else in the comments here mentioned that it might be similar to Kenshi from Mortal Kombat, who wields a sword that has the imprisoned souls of his ancestors inside which is pretty metal. Altogether, I love this trope and wanna see it used more lol
Imagine they add a new pal but you can't find it in the wild and the only way to encounter it is to:
1. you must fight a tower boss during being wanted.
2. then you must fly to onw of the wandering people with a campfire (this will give a chance to trigger the next step. It should play a small discovery sound and your wanter level goes; if not you have to wait a full day to try step 1 again.
3. The wanderer will tell you to go to one of the 3 nature preservation islands (either left, north or south). You must FLY or swim there. You cannot use any fast travel as this will reset the progress. (Be aware only certain campfire npcs will work; you'll know if they don't because they will suggest "checking under a truck" for it as a joke; do no use these).
4. When there a new NPC will appear, talk to them and then fly back to tower you battled in at the start (It must be the same tower otherwise it'll reset), it would of reset by now.
5. When you go in the cinematic will be different and you'll find the 151 pal there to battle and capture. Be careful as it can learn any attack in the game (except the self-destruct ones in the battle) and it's capture rate is the lowest in game.
When you beat him congrats, he's added to your paldeck! Enjoy your very own Mew-I mean Jettan!
I’ve legit found a frostalion nox in the wild next to another nox variant pal on mount obsidian so I dunno I think you can find all pals in game in the wild at least
Hmmmm interesting!
@@everberon and also I’ve found a egf that when it hatched gave me a pyrin nox which isn’t as cool but since I couldn’t catch the frostallion due to the level difference I was happy nonetheless
This is going to need a new update huh? 😏
I like to imagine the bellanors are the calamity's the paldeak speaks about and the 2 Pegasus sealed they both
Thank u for this i lovd this game, i playing this as i type 🎉😂
I think Arsox is a divergent species of Caprity.
Would be cool to see them add “shiny” types that have like a cool little hat or some type of accessory like maybe a leafmunk with with a necklace or something idk im high
Arsox just got a new variant this update. Good intuition!
Odd the pals don't evolve 🤔 even the writer of the paldeck is puzzled
With the release of the 2 new islands, will you be doing an update on the Paldeck or lore update?
Sometimes I think Everberon can read a phonebook just as well as Morgan Freeman sometimes. 🤔
Haha thank you! I'm nowhere near such a legend as Freeman, but I appreciate the sentiment haha
I feel like the two froststallions make sense if it happened at the same time. Because eternal Winter and eternal night isnt something that is mutually exclusive.
And there is alot of real life folk lore such as the days before Ragnarok where night snd winter is becoming eternal and harsh.
If i were to speculate the night was first to help froststallion to freeze the entire island in eternal Winter. Before another external force allowed for them to go back to normal
Now we wait for the Bellanoirs
What was that pal at the end? The humanoid black one?
We could say that a convergent evolution happened between Beakon and Ragnahawk
Gobfin=Modern Jormuntide, Gobfin Ignis= Modern Jormuntide Ignis.
26:02
Google Kenshi from Mortal Kombat.
Also I think to a lesser extent its a thing that happens in Japanese folklore but I cant think of any specific examples so take that with a grain of salt.
Ohhhh ok sweet I never knew this lore about them!
bushi: sword made from its ancestors.
Cubone: wearing the skull of its mother.
Lovander: I made the mistake of seeing one in bed or hot springs. (It's just as bad as everything else about the pal-waifu.)
7:11 low chance of appearing? Seriously? I find them all the time to the point that i just see them as a uncommon variant
Surely Wixen V Katress is a reference to eating steak rare or well done
Wait, is hangyu using teafant to water a real thing? if please someone I need to know
Update for the new islands?
Love it
There is a crack in palpagos island that's near the arena
Kitsun name is a play on the Japanese word for fox, which is kitsune
Kitsune is how it’s spelled in game

why not foxsparks evoled into arsox? there is even similar sibilance
gobfin has to be based of jourmintide. Just a nerfed version
If you are familiar with "Flannimals" by Ricky Gervais... 😅
The 2 Pegasus like pals seem similar to my little pony friendship is magic, Celestia and Luna.
It's not "Relaxasaurus", just "Relaxaurus"
Pretty sure the Teaphant entry playing on squirting.
You're probably right now that I think about it.
I'm dislexic and thankful

15:33 what do ya mean ?
The horns are almost indentical, so my train of thought was that it made sense their entries were both similarly dark.
@@everberon So you refer to them as “horns of misery”?
Yeah it really make sense
i think you pronounced quivern wrong. i think it's supposed to be similar to a wyvern and should be pronounced the same way.
