I looked into Pocket Pair because I was curious who those people are. Those guys are savages. I mean this in the best possible way. They switched from Unity to Unreal Engine two years ago and nobody on the team even knew how to work with this engine. Besides one guy. They all learned on the fly. They also hire people from part time jobs witu zero experience. Again those guys are based. They also have a great sense of humor.
I find it so funny, too. Apparently, they created the character customization the way they did because "people in the west like to make ugly characters." Their words not mine, which I have to agree with after seeing some of the abominations my friends have cooked up!
@@everberon Yeah I saw that as well. They were so right about that. All Japanese streamer make like good looking character and all western streamer make abominations. Those people know their audience. Also do we need to talk about Paldex entry number 69? Or that every single waifu Pal has extremely good working abilities inside your base. Those people know and they embrace all this stuff. I think that is why people like this so much. This game is definitely not pokemon with guns. It's ARK with Pokemon. But man this game is just great.
For Brothers of the Eternal Pyre, they're definitely some kind of cult. If you talk to the villagers in the seaside village south of the volcanic region, some of them talk about being fascinated with the Brothers and their obsession with being judged by the purity of fire. Personally, they kind of remind me of Command and Conquer's NOD Flame Troopers, who are also obsessed with purification through fire.
20:30 The FPA is also quite ironically the only one of the four enemy groups I've encountered thus far (Rayne Syndicate FPA, Eternal Pyre and PGRU) that drops fully cooked meals made using pal flesh. In fact I just checked a database to be sure and it looks like the only other food item that drops from humans as a whole is bread and the FPA minions aren't among the ones who drop it.
I noticed that at night or depending on the surrounding pals in the day time, dead pals are eaten, Loupmon and Gobfin are culprits I witnessed doing this.
Me and my brother was talking about how cool it'd be if you mistreat your Pals so much that they could rebel and revolt against you, possibly destroying the bases or even taking them over and you have to defeat the 'leader' that has taken over and reclaim order. That way it feels like the Pals still kinda have a will of their own and the intelligence to want to rebel back from mistreatment, giving the lore even more meaning.
Would be very nice to see, I know I personally keep their sanity high, one of my goals, but would like to see them fight back at miss treatment in those bases where players just want to max out production at all costs.
this game has more lore than i ever expected, and it treats subjects i really like about those kind of universe with magical beasts (pokémon mainly), honestly good video overall ! you earned my sub !
I found the world of palword scattered with so much historical events. If you look around the map you can see giant skeleton of monster in each region and the destruction they cause within the islands. 1. Giant fish near where you start the game. maybe some nearby settlement tried to catch it back then. 2. Giant lizard in the volcanoes area southern of the island. 3. Another giant fish (?) north east region before the desert area, it's facing the destroyed and barren land filled with fire which implicates the giant monster did this. 4. Giant snake or dragon near the tower boss in icy northern area. I think this dude is the biggest of them all. you can see it's head is near the frozen lake down below and it's tail near the top of the mountain. And maybe there's more that i can't find yet.
18:55 I'm pretty sure that vivid lily flower pal *is* Lyleen. Also, FPA are often seen attacking and killing pals. They're basically just poachers except hypocritical. (funnily enough, from what I remember they operate near the Hypocrite Hill) I'd love to show Lily what her subordinates are doing, probably by forcing her to watch one of their camps from a distance after defeating her.
Cool video! I realized in game that one of the areas that the Free Pal Alliance operates is literally called "Hypocrite Hill", which fits I guess. I hope we get more information about the Brother of Eternal Pyre and Axel. I find it odd that the leader doesnt even use a fire type, especially since this group values fire. That is, if he is even their leader. But at the same time, it wouldn't make sense if he wasn't. Maybe it is simply to surprise the players that prepared a team of water type, expecting a fire type.
I just realized the Hypocrite Hill thing tonight! Thought that was a great little reference. Also, as far as the BotEP go, the Paldeck entry of Blazamut may give us soemthing to work with. It reads: "Legend says it was born during a volcanic eruption. A strange group even claims that this continent lays upon the back of a giant Blazamut." Make of that what you will...
I saw some comment on another video, that the "leader" being the electric type is a lure for the challengers that brings water types against fire types. That whole thing was a set-up from the get-go
If you wanna give it some flare, might be a reference to active volcanoes having lightning in their plumes of smoke. That or dude met oz and said heck nah I want him
They should have had the logs be audio logs that played when the player picked them up because nobody is going back and reading them. Having NPCs talk would have been nice too.
True, those small QoL additions would be good. Perhaps in the full game when it's out of early access? I especially wanna hear someone deliver Axel's rap.
Man ,there is A LOT more than I expected there to be. As for what kind of pal owner I am, eh, I let mine do as they please for the most part, and they do a really good job taking care of each other.
@@AshleySmith-rm2bl Ugh, no kidding, I noticed that a lot more after I posted this, I had a Bushi get stuck in the top of a tree multiple times. I imagine Pocket Pair is working on some fixes for this stuff.
Maybe he tried to replicate frostalion? Since its a legendary pall that was worshiped and is said to stop an apicalypse. So maybe he tried to harnes such power without finding it
Thank you for this! I’ve really been enjoying my time with the game and wanted to know more about the lore without having to hunt down each journal entry
As a new player this video was perfect to watch! I love it when there’s mystery behind the locations and I haven’t seen any statues yes but the old structures does peak my in interest. Keep up the great work!
I like that the lore matches the breeding mechanic. Where shadowbeak is a rare crossbreed and in the game, can only be made in the breeding ranch by either one specific combination or having two shadowbeaks.
I think it's more likely that Zoe's mother was the syndicate leader. She says grizbolt being caged was like her and her father, if he was the leader why would he feel caged? It's more likely her mother was the leader and died in childbirth, and they kept Zoe and her father until he escaped alone.
I think the caged feeling is more an implication of a desire to explore the islands to their fullest extent, feeling his life has become a bit mundane. Or going back to the cage metaphor, to be free.
I think Palworld is a great "Foundation Game" for a potential series. I can excuse the lack of main story since their is a good amount of lore and mystery as the game is a "Make your own adventure type" sandbox game. I am curious as to when the game is finished we can finally visit the tree and see if we can get some answers about the world but for the most part I am having a lot of fun playing this with my friend and exploring on my own. If anything I think a sequel is where the team would make a more structure storied game one day.
I'm not sure if visiting the tree is planned, but they do plan to add new maps, so i'm hopeful. Perhaps the tree acts as a gateway to other worlds or something?
@@everberon I get a huge Gulliver's Travels vibe from this game. A world within our own but separated by the ocean and other mysterious forces. i can't wait to see what Pocket Pair comes up with for this game and if it can become a potential series.
27:09 there is at least one vilager you can talk to in the port town on the volcano island that gives you a little more informaiton about the flame people
I really hope the game evemtually ends up with different endings depending on how you treat your pals, or maybe after you defeat a boss they become an npc. Though that's a lot of work.
I played trough the game and here are my take on stuff (not read a single lore thingie but got a lot o em) The cuboid structure sprouts deffinetly look like infestation of self replicating technology, which explains why you find them on mineral rich vulcanic areas. The most developed kingly castle remnants on a grassy patch hints, that the technology infestation caused the vulcanic eruption that likelly killed most life there and turned the locals into religious fanatics after an apocalyptic experience and this event made the users of that technology remoursfull and created the sanctuaries to attempt and save the creaturs they decimated. Because we don't see any hint of a shipyard remnant of these castle buildings, it is safe to assume, that noone developed seefaring. Which leads me to belive that even though the islands looks close in some areas the cultures developed on the islands never meet and as such stuck in a very different technologycal and cultural level. Hence the wastly different buildings, but non of them reached electricity or the like. The actual towers with bosses are however look to be a much much higher level technology then the infestation not to mention its active too. So those simply to me seems as survey towers sent by a simmilar interstellar spiecies to simply check the fuck is with this place being so obscure and distinctive. Also it might be a follow up for whoever done the infestation as either an interstellar policing force to fix whatever the infestation guys did, or just detere them comming back or just observing to maybe reverse the infestation or just simply gather an already contaminated pre-FTL area. Maybe scan for certain level of technology to ensure it is not derived from the contaminaters and infact self made, prooving the contamination did not alter the culture to a point of needed action to be taken, whatever that might be. Lastly it might very well be a form of things that creates the fog and conceils the tree, but that is unlikelly, since that means they are activelly involved in containing the contamination, but not removing it? Makes no sensu beans.
That's a really interesting take on the cuboid things. As i've looked at them more, they sort of resemble cities. One near the base of the Astral Mountain, before actually entering the snowy area, even has some of the same symbols as the towers. The thing is, they are so strange since there are no doors or windows to speak of, almost as if the city was 'draped' in something that has caused the pattern to arise. As a result, I think your theory is definately relevent and i'm interested to review some of the game thru that lens. I'll report back to the comments here as soon as I find anything lol
You should talk about lore found in paldeck entries too. Like how Jormuntide Ignis was once a warrior wrongly convicted and returned as a Pal. Maybe it connects as to how they made shadowbeak and the disappearance of Alex.
Im definitely in the genetic unit, I have the perfect Chikipi with Work Speed Passives and is condensed from failed hatches or captured subjects. I named it KFC for some reason.
hey! @everberon there is a few new journal entries on the new island that expand on the lore of palworld, would you please look into doing a new lore video on sakurajima? 🙏
If you fight the level 50 black marketer in the desert his lvl 50 helzypher will pop out and you duel in the mineshaft. If you catch them they have attributes like pals. Somehow the technology tree is going to ascend to get those special attributes on your character. Also I swore the guys in the frozen dungeons had some sort of futuristic guns, so maybe we’ll get more advanced weaponry. But also once you really get into breeding for special builds it gets really crazy, this game is nuts. Glad I grinder it now so I’ll be ready for the DLC and the mega pals in the tree.
@@everberon also, if you want to catch the tower bosses with a blue pal sphere just get an assault wanted level by fighting people and then go to a tower and the guards will spawn in the tower with you as you’re supposed to be fighting the boss, you then duck and dodge and make the guards SHOOT the Boss Pal. He should turn non Agro and just sit there, you can then throw and sphere and you now have a Pal with 100K-200K HP. You can’t ride the Shadowbeak though, but you can mount Grizzbolt and shoot his mini-gun. Haven’t tried Faleris yet. Keep up the grind!
When you try to mount Victor and shadowbeak it says you can't because of modified DNA also in the game files are spheres called radar spheres which say they give you a chance to capture another tamers pal which I think might alude to with the towers being the key and the "so called catching boss glitch that could easily be fixed but hasn't been like your meant to catch them" might lead to uniting the factions under your control to use the keys from the towers to lift the veil surrounding the islands leading to the exploration of the tree and a larger more advanced mainland
@@ryinotron sounds pretty plausible, I know it’s gonna be crazy when the DLC drops. Currently breeding legends with attack stats etc for breeding bosses
i have a theory about the tree. it recycles the souls of dead pals. the roots strech underneath the map consume the bodies of the dead pals, thus why they dissapear instantly. that then gets recycled into nutrients for the tree, and reincarnated. thats why the eggs appear out of nowhere, and theyre level 1 to start. all of the EXP gets fed to the tree, and the pal is reborn. the tree does this through its roots as well. also it prefers to give the eggs to a dating pair of pals to be raised from an egg, but if none are available it will pick a nice spot in nature somewhere. thats why eggs are randoml;y scattered. also it wouldnt suprise me if reincarneted pizza guy is zoes dad
It’s cool that the devs are making lore acknowledgments about eggs spawning in and corpses despawning to add that immersion into the game so it feels less like a part of the game and more so another mystery to solve.
I came here for the answer of how to break free from the Island, just for a role play run to find out what point the PDA in the starter cut scene had to say, but maybe I have to wait for the full release for the complete lore of the game in order to get the full picture. Regardless, great video!
Not sure if I understand right but if you're looking to get out of bounds from the island there are plenty of guides out there for ya. I used a freecam to do it quite easily but granted, that was just my camera, not the player model.
I would second the speculation of Axel being the missing Alex both because, at least where I am, it is a common nickname for Alex and because it would make sense for him to have not much and even less serious things to say. The whole, well current at least, Palpagos Island economy seems to go as follows: Rayne Syndicate captures pals -> Black Marketeers buy them -> black marketeers sell them to the PGRU who uses them for experiments -> the results of the research are sold to everyone else to get funds -> repeat ; and even lily trying to stop it has basically only made a second instance of that cycle including the FPA and PIDF. So if Axel had been in one of the experiments that was over the line from him it makes sense for him to know that and not want to associate with any of the other fractions, and know that changing annything hasn't worked even for lily who has an entire fraction to try so it would make sense for him to associate with the doomsday cult and stop caring about annything.
Strange theory but who's to say that shadowbeak wasn't actually the pal created by the genetic lab. Okay think about it. You can breed it by just throwing astegon in the pen with kitsun. What non-legendary pal can't be bred into though? Jormuntide ignus. Sounds like something a research lab would want to cover up with shadowbeak yeah? Idk it's kinda weird that the only way to breed him is with another jormuntide ignus right? Either this is true or the "pal DNA has been stripped" line is false and greatly exaggerated. Alternatively maybe the only shadowbeak with "no pal DNA" is the shadowbeak that victor himself uses. The only reason it's still existent after having pal DNA expunged is from the power of the tower. If the tower is even capable of that. It is real weird though that the genetic freak can be bred into but the elemental variation of another is self contained. More or less food for thought.
@@everberon admittedly I'm going slightly loopy from breeding. I'm trying to attempt to breed the perfect team of pals to beat victor without any assistance from me. I find it entertaining to beat the genetic researcher by starting my own genetic program. It's ironic, just a thing I noticed in the process was that I could breed shadowbeak but not jorm ignus. It's not perfect but neat.
How if castaway is just ourselves written by ourself that at the end we see opportunity to escape just for stranded again in the island without any memories of palpagos island. I mean castaway and player sound similar right?
The factions in the game need a robust system where you're not always KOS to all of them. It would make them more than just more things to unalive. And I'm talking about an actual faction system, where you gain points in one, and lose them in others. Maybe some end game content could benefit from being aligned with a faction.
personally I think the FPA is the main protagonist of palworld maybe the groups we see are just separate cells acting on their own accord they just need a central Leader to unite just like the rebel alliance in Star Wars
i like how the castaway's logs say how pals don't decompose they simply just disappear when nobody's looking - despite the fact that if you play the game long enough, you WILL see wild pals run up to examine the bodies of dead humans and Pals a like, only for them to begin eating the dead bodies before said bodies "simply vanish". I'd like to think this was due to a translation error though and that it might get amended at some point in a future update. --Because other wise why even have the pals play their eating animations at all when their poking around the dead bodies simply before said bodies vanish within 5 to 10 seconds later? Or perhaps our Castaway who's left all these logs for us to find simply isn't as observant as we're lead on to believe they are. That might explain why we never bump into them as an NPC within all of our travels in the game, because "they're dead Jim" lmao. - Or perhaps We the player ARE the Castaway, and we simply forgotten everything due to an accident when trying to escape the islands the first time after some plan to escape with their pals to the outside world backfired horribly and left use with no memory and no pals, washed back up on the same islands as we originally found ourselves on. Of course, this is just speculation at this point, but it would certainly explain the opening sequence of the game and all the parallels between how our character and that of the Castaway's journey listed in the castaway logs early on. Cause what are the odds that every outsider who washes up on the shores of the pal islands just happen to have the same freaking tablet as described by the Castaway; yet all the natives don't seem to be carrying one around and using one themselves? Slim to none if you do the math, but the odds of the same person carrying the same tech on them because its the only thing they have while washing up on shore in another ship wreck for a second time? the likely hood of that has much higher odds of probability. and yes i get this is a video game and shit doesn't have to make sense, even some entries point out how shit doesn't make sense in the in game universe, but come on, even in a place like palworld there has to be some semblance of logic and odds right? ..I totally don't have a palworld addiction, this is just my nerd side showing. lmao
I see FPA fighting Pals all the time. Not very live and love of them. Pretty sure like our own world, there is corruption in every group, or a counter group outside.
I don't know if you this but there's a police officer named "Reincarnated Guy" which interestingly is level 50 and summon items such as pizza I wonder what's his purpose is ?
Funny how it looks like yggdrasil from norse myths and looks simular to dragon quest 13 version of it. In norse myth its also a tree of life, funny how norse probably got the idea from Jewish Eden's Tree of Life.
this is just a theory but i think one of the islands they will introduce will be the main island these people come from and the current islands are kinda like the wilds where they go to get pals. reasons, one several factions trade and or sell pals to another faction. now you could say the research faction is funding it all but how? it sounds like they use both money and food and its enough to handle everyone on the island. kinda a stretch. also we see in a early trailer there is a large city in it. now yea thats from way before but i dont think it would be too much of a stretch to think theres a mainland. last its hard to believe that with the tech they have that no large city has ever been made, add in where are all the children then? this is a alpha so its easy to see why its so limited but a mainland who explain alot.
That's a really cool theory. Although the cuboid structures sort of look like cities, I agree that it would be great to get a more definitive look into the ancients.
@@everberon yes and no. i think the cubes are from the ancients but something happened to them and it ended their life and changed the pals cause what are all the bones from if pals disappear? the brick places are the older people that are currently there. are they from our world but long ago and grew up here or left overs from the ancient time or a mix. they can pick that. the reason everything is run down here is cause we are in what could be called the wilds and somewhere out there is the mainland that once they got advance enough they moved there. so we could have 2 stories here. one the ancients and what happened and two the current gen of people. where are they from, how does their life work. they seam to be aware of the outside world but dont go, why? this could go way past just 1.0 of the game.
most of palworld lore comes from nors mythogoly, the tree of yggdrasil, the pals whith thier names and some designs, the deck enteries and some of the islands refencing the 7 reamls as well
16:50 aka wish team plasma change my mind i saw @thecaptiantv's 100 days in palworld they poach pals they attack pals and lily seems like n from pokemon black and white 1 as n was the king of team plasma and really belived in pokemon liberation
@@everberon Heh, small world. Only recently found this channel, but based on what I’ve seen so far I’m definitely curious to see your takes when the time comes
Kinda hope any future lore additions will lead to a Lovecraftian themes of ancient alein civilizations & God's. Maybe some factions are cultists of a religion that even they have no real understanding of.
It's strange. Lily believes Pals and Humans should be treated as equals, yet refers to Lyleen as her Queen and devotes her life to it. There's a bit of hypocrisy in her relationship with Lyleen, like she worships it above all else. I know mind control is kinda Lunaris' thing, but could Lily be hypnotized by Lyleens' scent or something when it healed her wounds? Zoe is rather interesting as well. She's the daughter of the former boss and is now the boss of the Syndicate, yet they turned on her when she released Grizzbolt. What kinda structure does this Syndicate have? It doesn't seem to be one built on the idea of a hierarchy if they're so willing to try and sell her off. And as a final question, could the fog be related to the PAL Genetics Research Unit? They seem to be willing to do whatever it takes to not only advance Pals and Humans, but to keep it secret as well.
I am certain that of the groups which we know of, the Pal Gebetic Research Unit is the most likely to be involved in the fog. That being said, it could absolutely be that some other force is responsible for the fog too. Perhaps even a natural force connected to Pals.
my palworld attention peaked last week i barely play it i'v been 49 lv for like 2 weeks now. >....< think it's cos i tried to breed multiple pals and ran out of room then went mad with cage rage. now my bases are laggy and i don't wanna clean up the area.
Quite fascinating this game's lore despite the game having questionable things like the designs of pals hence the controversy 😅 regardless though if this game does establishes its own media franchise like pokemon probably an anime series or manga could explore the lore further 🤔
I have a theory about the game. So this morning I met a character whose name is Reincarnated Guy. He is dressed like a cop but tells you he has been reformed and is no longer a cop. He talks about being alive and remembering to the point of dying but then "falling asleep" then waking up on this island. He was hungry and thought about how he really wants a slice of pizza then all of a sudden a slice is in his hand. He then gives you a slice and walks off. So is this game sort of like the show Lost? Is like a type of purgatory? It has some similarities to the show.
I'm rewatching this as im doing dishes, and just now started to wonder .... What if Zoe's Grizzbolt is her mom? We don't know what happened to Zoe's mom right? And Zoe does not understand why Grizzbolt allowed the people to capture her. What if some pals used to be people, and that there's a magical process that can turn people into pals??

They made me think about that.

I'm pretty sure that vivid lily flower pal *is* Lyleen.
Also, FPA are often seen attacking and killing pals. They're basically just poachers except hypocritical. (funnily enough, from what I remember they operate near the Hypocrite Hill)
I'd love to show Lily what her subordinates are doing, probably by forcing her to watch one of their camps from a distance after defeating her.
One of the regular spawns for FPA camps is them fighting other FPA members, so it seems like the faction is split into two branches.
In think there are more though there are at least 3.
I thought this was just a bug, but you might be on to something!
But if you capture them you can have them fight each other
That whole thing was a set-up from the get-go
Some say it's a trap for the players who bring water against fire
Lily & Lyleen were a bit of a surprise too, having 2 different water type moves to look out for when using fire pals
If you wanna give it some flare, might be a reference to active volcanoes having lightning in their plumes of smoke. That or dude met oz and said heck nah I want him
Free Pal Alliance, my ass. I see what you guys drop during raids. Cooked Lamball.
Also, they have pals in cages.
This was the best lore video for Palworld on UA-cam! Liked, subbed, can't wait for more.
Thank you! I look forward to making more!
They should have had the logs be audio logs that played when the player picked them up because nobody is going back and reading them. Having NPCs talk would have been nice too.
True, those small QoL additions would be good. Perhaps in the full game when it's out of early access? I especially wanna hear someone deliver Axel's rap.

Thank you for this! I’ve really been enjoying my time with the game and wanted to know more about the lore without having to hunt down each journal entry
Its funny that "sawed off" is something that pops up in quite a lot of rap lyrics, to start a new line lol
thanks for this video 2 mins in and i cxxan tell already u are doing this a great justice !
I don’t usually comment but I’ve got to say I love your videos man. Super well presented and engaging. You’ve got a real talent for storytelling
Thank you so much! I'm glad you're enjoying em!
I love how the options at the end are: are you going to be a good person, an as$hole, an as$hole or a madlad
Good theory!
I think the caged feeling is more an implication of a desire to explore the islands to their fullest extent, feeling his life has become a bit mundane. Or going back to the cage metaphor, to be free.
I appreciate your effort and it made me laugh. Nice job dude.
It's nice to see that other people also want to do lore stuff on palworld :) and do more than just read the journal and diary entries :P
27:09 there is at least one vilager you can talk to in the port town on the volcano island that gives you a little more informaiton about the flame people
"screw around with your buddies like the brothers" so I kind of now want them to add in in faction alliance.
Thank you, very nice story.
I really hope the game evemtually ends up with different endings depending on how you treat your pals, or maybe after you defeat a boss they become an npc.
Though that's a lot of work.
I played trough the game and here are my take on stuff (not read a single lore thingie but got a lot o em)
The cuboid structure sprouts deffinetly look like infestation of self replicating technology, which explains why you find them on mineral rich vulcanic areas.
Great take
You should talk about lore found in paldeck entries too. Like how Jormuntide Ignis was once a warrior wrongly convicted and returned as a Pal. Maybe it connects as to how they made shadowbeak and the disappearance of Alex.
That may or may not be the premise of a vid i'm working on as we speak...
Im definitely in the genetic unit, I have the perfect Chikipi with Work Speed Passives and is condensed from failed hatches or captured subjects.
I named it KFC for some reason.
That last part gave me a good chuckle
In recent updates we can also find new group similar to us called up and coming pal trainers
The free pal alliance bit made me chuckle lmao because the first time i encountered Elphidran , it was getting jumped by multiple FPA members🤣

29:30 THAT MY TEAM
If you fight the level 50 black marketer in the desert his lvl 50 helzypher will pop out and you duel in the mineshaft.
If you catch them they have attributes like pals.
Somehow the technology tree is going to ascend to get those special attributes on your character. Also I swore the guys in the frozen dungeons had some sort of futuristic guns, so maybe we’ll get more advanced weaponry.
But also once you really get into breeding for special builds it gets really crazy, this game is nuts. Glad I grinder it now so I’ll be ready for the DLC and the mega pals in the tree.
Damn that sounds really neat! I have not done / geard of any of that so i'll check it out when I have a chance.
Love it cant get enought from 5 days in and already 100 hours on ps counter
It’s cool that the devs are making lore acknowledgments about eggs spawning in and corpses despawning to add that immersion into the game so it feels less like a part of the game and more so another mystery to solve.
5:00 they probably go back to the tree
I came here for the answer of how to break free from the Island, just for a role play run to find out what point the PDA in the starter cut scene had to say, but maybe I have to wait for the full release for the complete lore of the game in order to get the full picture. Regardless, great video!
Not sure if I understand right but if you're looking to get out of bounds from the island there are plenty of guides out there for ya. I used a freecam to do it quite easily but granted, that was just my camera, not the player model.
11:28 yes i wanna see more of that please 🙏
You got it! I've been doing a bit of research into some of it for a future video, but have a few more projects lined up before then, so stay tuned!
@@everberon oh I can't wait... just subbed to u
This game has lore?
Only issue I see with the theory is the mention of a pal with "four legs and wings."
They certainly do! I suppose that is for sure a possibility...
Good video
Thank you!
Slim to none if you do the math, but the odds of the same person carrying the same tech on them because its the only thing they have while washing up on shore in another ship wreck for a second time? the likely hood of that has much higher odds of probability. and yes i get this is a video game and shit doesn't have to make sense, even some entries point out how shit doesn't make sense in the in game universe, but come on, even in a place like palworld there has to be some semblance of logic and odds right?
..I totally don't have a palworld addiction, this is just my nerd side showing. lmao
I still feel like Axel's "rap" is saying more then it appears
Me too.
I see FPA fighting Pals all the time. Not very live and love of them. Pretty sure like our own world, there is corruption in every group, or a counter group outside.

Nobbel67: Hello Everyone!
Unless im missing something the castaway seems like its us the player telling us the story of how we got there and our journey through this island.
Will there be a video about the new content?
this is just a theory but i think one of the islands they will introduce will be the main island these people come from and the current islands are kinda like the wilds where they go to get pals. reasons, one several factions trade and or sell pals to another faction. now you could say the research faction is funding it all but how? it sounds like they use both money and food and its enough to handle everyone on the island. kinda a stretch. also we see in a early trailer there is a large city in it. now yea thats from way before but i dont think it would be too much of a stretch to think theres a mainland. last its hard to believe that with the tech they have that no large city has ever been made, add in where are all the children then? this is a alpha so its easy to see why its so limited but a mainland who explain alot.
That's a really cool theory. Although the cuboid structures sort of look like cities, I agree that it would be great to get a more definitive look into the ancients.
@@everberon yes and no. i think the cubes are from the ancients but something happened to them and it ended their life and changed the pals cause what are all the bones from if pals disappear? the brick places are the older people that are currently there. are they from our world but long ago and grew up here or left overs from the ancient time or a mix. they can pick that. the reason everything is run down here is cause we are in what could be called the wilds and somewhere out there is the mainland that once they got advance enough they moved there. so we could have 2 stories here. one the ancients and what happened and two the current gen of people. where are they from, how does their life work. they seam to be aware of the outside world but dont go, why? this could go way past just 1.0 of the game.
i started my own faction of sorts, a Cult who Worships Anubis
For awhile i thought it was more of an isekai due to what an NPC said. However it can be interpreted another way.

when a pal die the steak then disappear?
That is something I never thought of... huh i'm not sure lol
Edit: Maybe that's the decompose timer?

I just want an army of depresso led by a shiny depresso
I'm rewatching this as im doing dishes, and just now started to wonder .... What if Zoe's Grizzbolt is her mom? We don't know what happened to Zoe's mom right? And Zoe does not understand why Grizzbolt allowed the people to capture her.
What if some pals used to be people, and that there's a magical process that can turn people into pals??
I luv palworjd
How can you eat pals if they disappear when they die?
