- A wonderful day out on the Munros at Glen Dessarry , after a long drive up the single track road was like being on a roller coaster along Loch Arkaig i began the long walk in to tackle 3 remote Munros the sun was out and so was the midges but still didn't hamper the day as was a cracking day out.
Well done 👏we appreciated this video brings back memories thank you ,that road walk back ouch on the feet , you had a great day although a bit hot but the views fantastic , thanks again for sharing you day 🤗🥾

Was another great day, Mick fantastic place, and it was a long day with the sun beating down. I got a wee bit burnt but was worth it . I'm glad you enjoyed the footage. Hopefully, enjoy my next adventure. ATB Ally 👍

Thanks Frank it's a fantastic place , the long road in took its toll on me , but I felt better shortly after the start of the walk would recommend the bike in and out especially out as the old feet were sore in that heat. a lot of midges at the car park had to get ready in the van, but still didn't spoil the day .ATB Ally 👍

Still on my to-do list, but I have been on the roller coaster road as I fished the loch a few years ago.

Thanks Tam this was a brilliant walk but quite a long one plus the heat was making it worse but still battled on , the views were fantastic real feeling of remoteness aswell , that road was punishing i had to pull over was feeling sick and broke the front of my bumper going over one of the humps on the road but still enjoyed the day out. Cracking Ally! everyone talks about that road in! not looking forward to it. I think I will also take my bike, seems like a good option to save a wee bit of walking. Cracking views and a great wee round of munros! cheers mate. Paul.
Would recommend the bike as will take a bit of the walk in and out , that road was unreal i had to stop half way as ended up feeling sick , i also broke the splitter on the bottom of my bumper going up and over one on the bumps on the road. apart from that the views along the road at loch arkaig are brilliant and there's a real sense of remoteness on these Munros a really great day again but was really hot with a lot of midges at the car park. Hi Richard thanks for following along you will enjoy these 3 brilliant day out and a longer one real feeling of remoteness if you have a bike use it from the car park in to the bothy I with I used mine but still a fantastic day I had, also the road in I got motion sickness its like a rollercoster 🤣Atb Ally 👍
Did not enjoy driving that road in/out along Long Arkaig, Ally.Gave me the fear big time.😱😱
Done the route in reverse to yours as my thinking was if I had any energy left I would go for Sgurr Mor on the way out..Knew on the 2nd summit that wasn't going to happen.😂😂
It's a long hard day in there and I too regretted not taking the bike to the wee house.

😂I was the same Andy that road is long and a lot of ups and downs towards the end , i broke the splitter on my bumper coming over one of the hills on the road . i had to pull over half way down as i was feeling sick as well. but apart from that its a fantastic place loch arkaig and glen deressy. i thought about sgurr mor as well when planning but thank god i didn't as the 3 was long enough in that heat. Never seen anyone attempting these hill,s from the Glen Kingie side. The climb out the glen is v,steep but lead,s to a stalker,s path that should be preserved/listed? Similar to the Roman Step,s in Wales, superb. Got to the first munro and turned back, absolutley knackered.
