- Mafia 4 is the upcoming game on the mafia installment that Hanger 13 is currently developing with the help of the all new Unreal Engine 5.2 latest upgraded technology with AI improved NPC's which is much better than what was used in Mafia 1 remake called definitive edition. Now in Mafia 4 we are said to play as Don Salieri who was the boss in the first installment of the game, now we play as his younger version sent in the 19th century in Cicely. There is also another rumor which states that the game will take place during the british revolution set during the peaky blinders setting and era. The game will feature horses, cars, open world game and much more. Hanger 13 is currently in its early stages of development and it will take at least an year for the development cycle to be at its end, we might expect to see some teaser announcement of the next upcoming games in gamescom. I loved the story of mafia 1 and 2. I think mafia 2 was my favorite. I also loved mafia 3 and all the extra things it added. What I loved about mafia 3 over the others is that instead of working for someone, you become the boss and took territories and took control of the entire city. It’s that concept that I loved more than anything. I’ve always wanted a game that allowed me to work from the bottom and become the boss or king kinda like Fable 3 and this was it. For the most part though, mafia 2 I think was still my favorite. I’m super excited for mafia 4!! I’m really hoping it is as you say and you’re the Don working your way through the ranks to become the Don. I would absolutely LOVE that!!

Mafia 3 I played 3 Times of Beating it because It was my favorite because it such a good story line of how well the graphics were made by 2k Games

Mafia 2 is definitely my favourite. I really liked Mafia 3 too, I loved to see a different kind of story. What was also great about Mafia 3 was that you played as the mob boss and didn't work for one. I only played Mafia 1 recently, it was great too. The story was great.
Mafia 3 lacked way to many details that mafia 2 had. Mafia 2 city felt alive, even the small stuff being able to open/ close doors, trunks, hood of cars, being able to turn on and off lights, open and close windows, getting pulled over for speeding, turning on faucets flushing toilets, mafia 2 was crazyy when it comes to attention to detail. nahhh mafia 3 you did kinda work for someone. Even after running the city and the country when you pick the right ending, You still paying the commission 30% which isnt too bad. The commission and the government stayed on your head mann shit is crazy. Remember if you stayed, the mob shows up at the end. If you leave and gave everything to vito, he rebuilds everything.
i want mafia to get deeper and more immersive, i think side quests with all the characters and role playing could add alot to the story.sply if you can decide the fate of what happens to everyone around you with optional dialogue
Roleplay aspects are so much important now ! you see it with gta5 rp.
yes it doesn't need to be expensive cuteness it could just be dialogue differences, side quests take up the majority of content in games like fallout new vegas, so it can be skipped if players just want to focus on main story@@nordberlineratze6589
Mafia III is so underrated it’s actually painful. It’s also a masterpiece, with children crying about the „wrong” time period. Play it, finish it, appreciate it.

I didnt like it. Hated that there were no traffic rules, it wasnt about mafia, you were just a terminator killing warehouses full of people by your lonesome. +The repetition. And I dont get why he kills everyone on his own, he is a leader of a big crime syndicate, where his soldiers.

Uh...I've seen a thousand reasons for why Mafia 3 sucks, even the ONE takedown animation you'll see constantly because they couldn't be bothered, but not once have I seen "It's the wrong time period" like tf?

One of the reasons Mafia 3 is so hated is because how lazy and half-assed it was compared to Mafia 1 and ESPECIALLY Mafia 2 where you could feel the love and attention put into everything
I don't even like AngryJoe but man did he nail how mediocre Mafia 3 was, though as a standalone game removed from such a great franchise I can see it holding up so much better.
But again, Mafia 3 was not overall a stain on the franchise because of "the wrong time period" lmao honestly I wish I could see one person bring that up as a complaint just to make fun of it.

@@cptpoell9113I like mafia 2’s cars, and characters but 3 definitely takes the cake for those🤣 Lincoln’s story is way more detailed than Vito’s and Tommy’s his actually has sentimental values behind it while they were just trying to find an easy way out and get rich💯 plus the car and weapon choices are much more diversified in mafia 3 Lincoln can literally have an M16 you couldn’t even get just that weapon alone on any other mafia game🤷🏾♂️
I don’t understand why people trash Mafia 3 …. I myself …when played the first time … it didn’t got me much … but after one hour as the story goes .. it become so addictive…driving in the world with cool American muscle cars and listening 70’s great rock collection… the game are FUN ! and the 3 DLC was very good and fun … as you get in the story…the game kicks ! and from all mafia games , it’s the one closest to GTA alike … Mafia 2 rocks , but world and game mechanics goes to Mafia 3 … Mafia one remake are excellent in story telling , but besides the story there’s nothing to do in the world …. what a waist of so beautiful graphics design… Mafia 3 are more dynamic !

You won't be able to play Salieri, as he got criminal when he was already in the US and Mafia 4 will Play in Italy. As far as I know Tommys Family had to leave because of the Mafia, so maybe we will play in San Celeste as the mobsters who made his Family leave.

I’m hoping this game is a sort of start from the bottom make to the top thing I want to be able to buy upgrades buy buniess and such to keep on having things work out. So you can slowly upgrade your gang from having bats, to brass knuckles to pistols to finally the big guns
I played Mafia II as the first game in the series and liked it a lot. Bought Mafia I definitive edition 2 years ago and even loved it more. Never played Mafia III, as most people say it’s not really good and I don’t want to ruin the series for me. Looking forward to Mafia IV.

I’m so tired of prequels… like just bring it to the 70’s and make ot like the godfather games where you can have businesses and earn money from them and basically start your own crew and grow it all the way down to you managing and sending people to do jobs while keeping your option to do jobs yourself and make it so you can upgrade the attributes of the made med you like the most etc..

I fell in love with the mafia the city of lost heaven in 2005, then my love got mature with mafia 2 in 2009 and unfortunately i broke up with mafia 3. But we came back together with the mafia definitive edition 😂😂❤❤

Mafia 2 was the 1st game i actually wanted to search the entire map for all the collectables 😂. Gave me so many good ps4 wallpapers 😂. I hope the new game will have the same pictures to collect. It was very motivating 😂. Before this game I've never really cared about collectables.

People are getting too sensitive and slowly removing our freedoms. Without knowing it. Reminds me of Larry Flint. Gore is fine. But boobs are where we crossed the line. I would rather people be numb to nudity than gore. Most people want what they can't have. And people love to see what they're not supposed to.

While Mafia 2 is my favorite, I gotta admit, 3 had an amazing soundtrack., one of the best of any games I've ever played.
I wish they would do a sequel that retcons the 3rd game. Maybe making a new sequel for the series wouldn't be so hard if it was just the events of 1 and 2. A game that takes place in Las Vegas during the late 70s early 80s like the movie Casino would be amazing! Or even a game in New York and the fall of the mafia during the late 80s to early 90s would be fantastic! I just wanna see luxury Sedans in the style of 70s-80s Lincolns and Cadillacs. Also, having a game about THE ITALIAN MAFIA in a game series about THE ITALIAN MAFIA would be nice. May seem obvious, but with 2k, who knows! They added a side mission about nuclear warfare in the Caribbean for Pete's sake!

I have played both mafia 1 and 2 and they are masterpieces and I loved them and I can sit and Tell whole depth analyze story of mafia franchise so don’t come and say I didn’t play those games if you don’t know, I’m a hardcore mafia fan, mafia 1 and mafia 2 are more close to Mafia lifestyle than mafia 3 will ever be don’t get me wrong but mafia 3 felt nothing like mafia but it was an amazing story if it was another title but you felt untouchable as Lincoln and I didnt like that he never had any challenge he came in like terminator and took down the most powerful mob in the game with no problem ok you had Donovan but when we talk about physicality strength on the street he took them down sungelhandly without any help unlike mafia 1 and 2 you had always mob guys around the protagonist and those are the likes of Sam, Paulie then we had Joe and Henry. Just to clarify you may have misunderstood me I don’t like that mafia 3 brought punisher vibe! The game is all about killing it’s not what mafia was always about they had rules and if you know mafia style you don’t lay hands on a made guy and Lincoln did that with no problem or consequences unlike previous games. Lincoln has no emotions and no personality for being honest most of the times he was cold hearted killer. So for me it’s not a bad mafia game in general it’s okay and the weakest but not a bad game like that woke saints row recent games if we compare others.

@Blakwoodz I don't really have high hopes for Mafia 4 because the head writer of the story of the first and second game and the head developer (Dan Vávra) is not working on the project and after Mafia 3 I guess the story will not be good enough for it to be a "Mafia game" like the third one. In the DE they cut out the most important things that were meant to say something to the people, like the end of the DE, the best sentences were cutted out. Why? Just for everyone to hear and cry for the "Family is forever!" If you haven't heard the ending of the first ever Mafia game then go and play the ending or even better go play the game yourself and you'll see its much better then in the DE.
Mafia 2 should have been remaked and not the first game, so much unfinished stuff, so much potential and instead we got a remaster that ruined the game even more than it was. Don't take my words badly, Mafia 2 is great and I can't get enough of it, but it's not as good as it could have been, and all because 2K pushed Dan Vávra to release the game right away, Dan couldn't take it anymore and left the studio because he didn't want to release an incomplete game. The rest of what was removed from Mafia 2's original story 2K tried to include in DLC, but unfortunately it all felt incomplete. About Mafia 3 I have nothing to say its OK but thats everything its not good its not bad its hard mid I am totally mindblown how many people in the comments liked the third Mafia :d. The best thing about third game was totally the "Sign of the Times" DLC. It was so freakin cool to had that horror New Orleans cult feeling, LOVED IT. But the game itself was pretty mid.
I played M2, M1DE, M3DE in that order. I was blown away at the end of M1DE when I recognized Vito and Joe and remembered that random mission with the hit in the old man's front yard on M2DE. 👌🏽 👏🏽 👍🏼

I started the Mafia series with Mafia 2 and became a fan, but many of my friends claimed that the first game was better. So, I played both the first game and Mafia Definitive Edition, and I can confidently say that Mafia 2 is the best. I don't have extensive knowledge about games, but I'm studying cinema in the fine arts university, so I can provide a perspective on the atmospheric and narrative aspects. In terms of characters, mafia atmosphere, dialogues, and especially storytelling, Mafia 2 surpasses the others by far. Particularly, Mafia 1 (both Lost Heaven and Definitive Edition) left me disappointed in terms of storytelling. Apart from the quality of storytelling, there are also general inconsistencies, like a taxi driver becoming a member of a mafia family directly. Besides, witnessing young people who grew up in Little Italy and idolized gangsters starting from the lower ranks and gradually rising is more interesting for me. Fantastic details, like the oath scene during the mafia initiation ceremony, strengthen Mafia 2. Moving on to the atmosphere, I will evaluate it step by step. Casting-wise, I also appreciate Mafia 2. All the characters truly resemble Italian-American mafia members that we know. This is a significant issue in Mafia Definitive Edition. The characters don't even have the typology of Italian-American. Also, in terms of suits, Mafia 2 is again at a much higher level. When Scorsese shot Goodfellas, the most important thing for him was the costumes. Mafia stories and games derive their power from the unique atmosphere of the mafia. Therefore, all these clothes and actors are crucial. Rather than good-looking and stylish suits, the suits and clothes that showcase the unique structure of the mafia create that atmosphere. Mafia 2 was the only game where I felt the real mafia atmosphere. I found the most realistic images of the mafia here. And finally, the relationship between Vito and Joe is a strong aspect not present in other games. Both the bond they establish, the dialogues, and the humor element make this relationship powerful.
I'm not even mentioning Mafia 3. It was terrible.

It’s makes sense to release it before gta 6 like a good 5 months so they can get good sales, because it’s got a gta kinda vibe so with the anticipation they can ride that wave with good advertising plus all the old fans of the franchise will be back it should do well

@@talpatv512 it does it’s the theme that’s different, but the mechanics of the game is similar going around in 3rd person playing as a character driving car customisation to your character ect shooting people and a story. It’s not like assassins creed, or any call duty game. What would you say it’s similar to? Plus I said it’s got a kinda vibe of gta I know it’s separate and they have there own feel to the game, but it’s the same as saints row there all similar but different how they play

loved mafia 1 and 2, I think I love the story of M1 over M2 and currently working on M3 and tbh yea its repetitive and I personally dont like the time setting its too modern for a mafia game imo
I just finished mafia 3 definitive edition and that game was probably the best game I’ve ever finished. I sort of rushed through it and pressed skip for a lot of the talking unfortunately, only because I felt like the game took forever. But I really enjoyed it and appreciate how drawn out it was. And how many options and missions you have.

Nice Vid. I love Mafia I for sure. But the original version. Partly its because at the time it had graphics & gameplay way ahead of its time. It was even better than its competitor GTA (Vice City). The new version had cuts and at the time the city felt vibrant, but for the remake the city has become from jar dropping feature to just a beautiful openworld city.
Im hopeful for Mafia IV. It might again feel like the Vice City & Mafia I era!

I wish they made a mafia game about the mobs stong uprising in Las Vegas during the 50s and 60s sorta like the movie Casino. And Mafia 3 was not a mafia game it was about taking down the mob not being part of the mob. They hit a complete 180 on that game and went the opposite way. Having mafia in New Orleans wasn’t a bad idea, New Orleans did have strong mafia ties but it was a badly written game.

The Mafia 1 remake was a masterpiece. I just finished it last week. I jumped right into 2 DE and just 100% it. I played 2 on both PS3 & 360 when it initially released. Loved it, but thought there was a lot of missed potential. The DE was literally just a slightly netter looking version, with even more bugs and graphical glitches. I wish they would've did a full on remake like they did with 1.

I loved Mafia 3. Of course I think the first two are better. But I still love the 3rd game. I’ve gone back and replayed it a few times. To me, I think it’s hated because it came out at a time where GTA V was only a few years old, also gameplay wise with the open world aspect, it was different than the previous two and people were hoping for a GTA V like world but in a Mafia setting. Plus there was a lot bugs, according to some. I never experienced them. I enjoy the combat, the gunplay, the graphics and story. Can missions be repetitive? Sure, but there’s a lot of games that can be repetitive. I’ve always been one if the gameplay is fun and there’s a good story, I’m in. I just believe Mafia 3 is misunderstood and overlooked because of the games that came before it. It kind of reminds me of the Godfather and Scarface games a little bit. But hey, not everybody is going to like the same thing, everyone has a different opinion. I’d say give it a chance, there’s a really good story in that game.

Mafia lll was my pride and joy i love mafia lll it's my highest gameplay out of the three i have mafia lll at 233 hrs and still go back and play where mafia 1 & 2 12 hrs is all i played on that and mafia 1 i only have 10 hrs of play time
MAFIA 2 was the best thing. I was glued to it as a kid and finished it the second day I bought it.
😭 I can’t even complete Mafia 3. I’ve tried everything but I can’t get past a black cutscene. I can hear sound, but there is no image. On PC there are way too many bugs. It’s so frustrating!

Speak for yourself! I don’t buy pirated games. Steam, has sales throughout the year and the games are reasonably priced. Moreover, the older games such as the Mafia Trilogy are extremely cheap. Furthermore my issue is not an isolated one. Many gamers have had issues with the game.

I don't see what's there to compete here for GTA VI and Mafia IV. True gamers are going to play both the games, they aren't gonna skip anything. The casual audience on the other hand might give one of them a slip. Both these franchisees have their own dedicated fan bases and they would definitely support these games.
Rockstar has truly loyal fans who despite all the disappointments thrown at them by Rockstar and Take2 are still very much loyal and supportive of these companies.
Mafia 1, Mafia 2, Mafia1 RE were the most intense! Mafia 3 pacifier, the whole game "bring, submit, grab, divide." And the main character Rambo, who tears off his head with his hands like a pumped zombie from Dead Island 2. I think they could make a better story and a colorful character like Carl Johnson from San Andreas. Mafia 4 I hope it will be about clans like in The Sopranos. I think it's not cool to make a story about Don Salieri and Morello, because when they were young, everyone rode horses. Especially in Sicily. We need Italo - American history!

what I like the most is the original Mafia from 2002. That is absolutely best and noone who played 2020 and not the original one never really played the first Mafia.

Hanger 13 needs to be told that Mafia 4 is their make or break. Mafia 3 was okay, but minus the revenge factor, characters, and soundtracks; the story was okay but the lack of side stories or side missions that mattered hurt it.
I love all 3 mafia games in their own way music in my opinion 3 was the best story 2 was the best and first for me was beautiful scenery I just hope the new mafia won't be as hard as the race like the first one man I broke my controller because of that stupid race lol.
