Some good info here. I'm doing a manual swap on my J32A2 automatic, from an 03 TL type S. Using the 6 speed and harness from another J32A2 from a CL type S. One issue I'm having is that the MT and the AT harness are different like u said the knock sensor plug and the confusing part is the cam and crank sensors. Ig you have to to change them out with the MT sensors and you have to change the reluctor wheel for the timing belt cuz the teeth are "tighter" on the MT. And something about crank position sensor B being on the transition side on the MT. I'm gonna make a video explaining that as I figure it out myself. But I am planning my own stroker build using the heads off my extra J32A2. My question is do you think I would have any trouble using a J35 block with a J37 crank and intake manifold with the J32A2 type S heads and pistons ??
I'll keep that in mind if I can get my hands on one for the low. But I already rebuilt my j32a3 as a 3.5l stroker. Used 3.5 crank and rods from a 02 odyssey and did a .20 overbore on the cylinders
@@JoeFasho if you used a j35a6 from an 05 pilot or 05-06 odyssey ex or lx woulda been straight drop in. But thw stroker you built is dope bro!!! J35a4 is older generation jseries with the 3port heads. J32a3 heads dont work without modding

U wrong the j32a3 is base model 04 up
THERE IS NO TYPE S FOR THE 04-06 model tl. J32a3 IS A BASE TL MOTOR. THANK YOU. YOU HAVE A BASE. GOODBYE
When the tl type s was introduced for that gen in 07-08 it had the j35. Thats it.
