It makes me happy/sad hearing this song in 2024. John and George both gone such a long time ago. Occurs to me now though, although George sometimes said things in interviews to make you think the Beatles and the relationships of those 4 young men didnt mean all that much to him as time went on, songs and videos like this one and also "When We Was Fab" tell the truth of what they meant to him in his heart. A wonderful song.
What a heart felt song from George Harrison to his mentor and band mate John Lennon. I still can't believe John Lennon was taken from us at such a young age. What makes it hurt so much more is that he was staging a comeback and he was finally at peace with all he accomplished. That part gives me chills
I'm shouting all about love
While they treated you like a dog
When you were the one who had made it so clear
All those years ago
I'm talking all about how to give
They don't act with much honesty
But you point the way to the truth when you say
All you need is love
Living with good and bad
I always looked up to you
Now we're left cold and sad
By someone the devil's best friend
Someone who offended all
We're living in a bad dream
They've forgotten all about mankind
And you were the one they backed up to the wall
All those years ago
You were the one who imagined it all
All those years ago
All those years ago
All those years ago
Deep in the darkest night
I send out a prayer to you
Now in the world of light
Where the spirit free of lies
And all else that we despised
They've forgotten all about God
He's the only reason we exist
Yet you were the one that they said was so weird
All those years ago
You said it all though not many had ears
All those years ago
You had control of our smiles and our tears
All those years ago
All those years ago
All those years ago
All those years ago
@Gonzaloepers445 😊 Thanks 😊

@Dragon Rider mark chapman and those who really didnt believe or understand what john or the culture the beatles tried to create just by living was saying.
Thank you😊
this is just awesome...
whenever I'm listening to George's songs, I feel a strange and nice feeling of happiness and joy, I can't really describe it, it's different from other music for me
too sad that those two wonderful people already left the world :'(
They didn't leave at all. They're Here, There and Everywhere❤
@@albertolozanogonzalez5104 yes, you're right!
Absolutely. I feel that too. Thanks for describing this in your post !
his music really was otherworldly
I know exactly what you mean. When i was a kid his songs were the ones i liked the least and then something happened and i realized how special he truly is. not was, is. for he still is wonderful.

The most beautiful thank you and love letter to all their fans. This is lovely 😊❤
Thanks for everything George.
one of the best songs by George
heavily underrated compared to his other solo songs sadly
My sweet George 😍😍
No matter how many times I see Hard Days Night I crack up at the beginning when they're running and George falls down then John cracks up. Classic!!
Hello Nancy, how are you doing today, hope you’re fine and safe from the Virus??

A great video, a great tribute to John Lennon, and a great song in its own right!
Just music Business as Usual for George Harrison the great. All Those Years ago is magnifesant and wonderful❤.Thank You Harrison for keeping The Beatles spirit and legacy alive. - Enternal.
1:31 probably the most nostalgic riff I ever heard; ngl, I cried just hearing it
The Lord loved him ❤ 🙏🤗🕊☮️
It makes me happy/sad hearing this song in 2024.
23 years ago today George passed away. We love and miss you George! Such a legend ❤️
Thanks for the video.. RIP john and george.. shine on..like the moon and the stars and the sun..
3:15 on, I remember that scene when this video was new. That closing-shot of them waving Goodbye, its very sweet
George Harrison and John Lennon great friends, and beautiful song Beatles Forever!!!

*He really loved John and looked up to him 💜 such pure souls*
Never forgotten, in the days! ❤
What a heart felt song from George Harrison to his mentor and band mate John Lennon. I still can't believe John Lennon was taken from us at such a young age. What makes it hurt so much more is that he was staging a comeback and he was finally at peace with all he accomplished. Thank you John for all that you gave us and thank you George for telling Johns story so perfectly.
Hello, how are you doing today? Thanks for your love and support❤
LA GUITARRA MAGICA DE GEORGE HARRISON. GRACIAS AMIGO.
I love this song. It makes me think of the fun times I had all those years ago.
It's got to be the best tribute song ever.
I love this & Elton John’s empty garden. 😢
2:44 John glances over at Paul. His smile says it all.
Yes it does. It looks like John was enjoying himself. Too bad it didn't go any further.
George was one of those who didn't missed Johns point. This is what the song is about. Many is spoken about talents of artist but John is the only one who began were they all stopped.
We could use George’s spirit and energy now.
Hello Barbara
Hello Barbara, how are you doing today, hope you’re fine and safe from the Virus??
Ain’t that the truth!
