i started watching your vid's last year. great quality on the production and really great content. i wonder if you can do a video on getting more information to the PLC or MES for error reporting. it seems a little complicated to catch and report faults and error codes in the robot and get them to a supervisory system. just being able to enunciate which Estop is pressed would be a great help. i am not a long time robot guy. you have definitely shortened the learning curve for me.
Thanks so much, Wallace! I can definitely make a video that shows how to report "major" errors like Estop status, so stay tuned for that. To get detailed error reports like MOTN errors or SYST errors, you'll need something like the "EDA" option that can pass strings to/from a PLC. This makes it super easy with implicit EIP comms that pass data in realtime. Without EDA, it's tough to pass individual error codes. But let's start with the easier ones! Thanks for the recommendation!
Yes great question! Boom: www.fanucamerica.com/products/robots/software That page at least shows every option possible with a short blurb on what it is. To deep-dive into how they work, please reach out to your local FANUC rep and start the conversation. Thanks!
You're a legend, thank you!

Where can I find short information about every single option? I've found the B-83284EN-2_09_01 manual, but there are only major options described.
Great question!

Hello I was hoping you could make a video on Distance before and time before?
That is a GREAT recommendation! I will definitely make this video. Stay tuned!
Please use this larger teach pendant for future videos
Thanks for the feedback! I was hoping this would help. I'll definitely use this moving forward.
Can you do a video on the Stream Motion option?
Thanks for the recommendation, Michael. I'll work on this!
how and where I can get the simulation soft for practice that you are using now ?
Please contact your local FANUC rep; a quick Google search should show your local team. Ask them for a 30-day trial and you can start there!
@@AdamWillea I have FANUC account and there is a bunch of software for download and I don't know which one I should download for simulation
How about clearing Time Before statements? Thats whole new thing for me?
I'm seeing some requests for this... I'll make a video on it soon! Stay tuned!
