@Teji Gill passing tests means nothing, Teji.I don't know if i have written this elsewhere but here is food for thought. Bolt holds the world record -- by a considerable margin, The next eight or nine fastest times even run have all been run by drug-cheats!
Draw you own conclusions. Ignore him, forget him. Like Flo Jo, he is a nothing. Sad, but true. Find your heroes elsewhere.
@Teji Gill well, Tej, if you will forgive me, but i am having a little trouble understanding your question. Obviously, english is not your first language.
There is some hope for sport in the future but not much. The poisitive news ia that there are signs that, for the time being, some events are much cleaner than they used to be. Men's and womens sprint times are slower on average than they used to be, right up to 800 metres. That is a guide to present athletes ... and those of the past! Good for now, but makes you wonder how many od the heroes of the past were cheats?!
Men's distance events still seem dubious. Kiprop a couple years ago killed a world class field but later was shown to be cheating. Someimes the cheats were just too good: Armstrong, Bolt? Flo Jo? You be,the jydge. I know my views. Alas, the Olympics have not been what we might have wished since, say, the suxties!
@Teji Gill punish both. The athletes are claiming results that are not their own but pretend they are. If you cannot compete cleanly, dont compete at all. So long as there is one athlete out their competing cleanly, you must punish the cheats. No one should be compelled by his or her cheating opponents to take drugs to have a chance of winning. Monetary gain is no excuse. Imagine telling your young child playing a sport that when they got to a certain age they had to take PED (cheat) to progress. Never, never, never. Let competitive sport die rather than let that happen.

It's obvious, They were all doping, including Bolt.
Not true, Asafa Powell was never a doper. He was convicted of a a substance that was inside an over the counter drug, and also successfully won an appeal. This argument makes no sense, it assumes the group determine the individual. Usain Bolt was one of the most tested athletes in history, he never failed.

Wonder what his take on Phelps is? The high performance sports are full of enhancing substances no doubt . I am a swimmer and love Phelps and what he did for the sport but honestly just waiting for the day we hear what they were doing
After Lance Armstrong, I'm now more open to hearing someone else's allegations and only then make a decision. I won't be making it here because I'm not an athlete.
Phelps didn't have the kind of huge drop in time from the previous world record that Bolt did. Also the developments in swimwear technology pretty much coincided with Phelps prime which has played a large part in the lowering of times. There's also the fact that every single runner who has broken 9.8 in the 100 has either failed a drug test later or has been tied to people like Conte with 1 exception: Usain Bolt. Swimming hasn't had a similar history of drug fails.
They're all using, trust me. Some of them don't play by the "rules" and get exposed, like Armstrong or Jones.
And USA Gatlin was drinking Gatorade all his life when he was banned for 4 years 😂😂😂

Lance Armstrong never failed a drug test either.
Look, Usain Bolt is obviously built differently. His physique alone makes you believe why he could break all those records. Just pure genetics.
His stride is longer so covering 5-6 metres more is quite reasonably possible over 100m - roughly 18cm more per stride -
You cannot survive so many consecutive Olympic games cheating without getting caught, especially if you break records - you become a target. Give the man his props. He worked hard for it.
He could have escaped all tests since the Olympics Committee is involved in it. Genetics of course plays a large role but saying the Jamaicans were clean it's a bald assumption.
I mean he was the face of track back in the days and was bringing massive audience. It would be pretty bad for the business if they would have banned him.

Confirmation bias for anyone who believes any athlete running faster than an American athlete must be juicing
Thank you! Confirmation bias is the phrase of the day
Victor Conte has never commented about Michael Phelps...I wonder why that is.....
Phelps's best times are not as mind-boggling as the Bolt's. Not even close. Phelps currently holds 3 world records dated between 2008-2009 when they used some special swimsuits that helped the buoyancy by trapping air bubbles. Those suits are prohibited now so his records are not comparable. Another huge differences is training. Swimming is much more forgiving on the body than running. You can swim at 90% of your potential 3 hours a day but a runner would destroy himself with such a load. But Phelps could have been using something - we will never know. He is a genetic freak himself. But do not compare the stringency of the PED testing in the USA and Jamaica please. That would be insulting. Countries like Jamaica would be always under suspicion and deservedly so.
Vadim Rokhlenko actually we do know he was using something..marijuana. imagine if bolt got caught smoking weed.. all hell would have broke loose.
Weed is by no means a PED. It was a stupid indiscretion. Swimming is a very monotonic boring sport that takes up a lot of time and all you see for 3-4 hours every day is the tile on the bottom of the pool. So Phelps decided to unwind a little. I have no idea what would have happened if Bolt was caught smoking weed. Look it up - weed is on the list of prohibited substances NOT BECAUSE it is a PED. So nobody probably would give a crap. He would probably get a month of suspension or so. Definitely incomparable with steroids.
Vadim Rokhlenko I didn't say it was...but my point still stands. Had Usain got caught smoking weed....wow.
Vadim Rokhlenko wait..bolt was using steroids???? You have proof of this?

not really, it is suspicious, but it dont really take anything away from bolt if he has taken roids, because every other top level runner like gatlin, powell, blake, gay, have all taken aswell. he is still the best sprinter of all time
It's called anecdotal evidence. He has a valid point about a small country winning all of the medals in any one given sport. There is nothing unique about Jamaican genetics or training so what is the differentiator then? This is like when East Germany was winning all of the medals in the 50s - 70s. Turned out they were saucing too.
@@Oscar-fi1ev Nothing different about Jamaican genetics? It's been known that Jamaicans are fast way before the Asafa-Bolt era. A lot of the fastest American sprinters and sprinters from other countries have Jamaican routes too. Also track is huge in Jamaica and no other country has this sport as their first love. And yes the training in Jamaica is way different. They are lies though. What he fails to mention is that the times ran by Jamaicans in their trials which he alluded to in parts of this interview were inferior to The American times. Yet we are doping...but they are innocent. Also, what people are being busted for are simple things that do not impact performance positively and cannot mask doping. As long as WADA keeps busting people for non-performance enhancing drugs including a TON of American athletes over the last decade curroption will continue. That is what you need to address as well. Why are several athletes including many Americans being busted for non performance enhancing drugs? When he speaks on that he can then gain a modicum of respect from me.

R k i understand, i almost agree with you, but then i remembered that i suspect Flo-Jo of drugs for the same reason this guy suspects bolt.
Chi Square honestly,I do not believe that Flo jo was on drugs. I honestly believe that she ran and broke the record by practicing. She has a really Long Stride and I think she used her height to an advantage. Just like bolt learned to use his height to his advantage too.
Apparently no one beats the US unless they are using drugs... DWL.😂
Nobody beats our dopers unless they're doping, too. The russians are pretty good at doping. Tough to beat their wrestlers....they're really strong!
Earl H historically Jamaica never dominated track. Now, all of the best sprinters male and female are from Jamaica. It has nothing to do with the US, if you have common sense, it's suspicious.
+Cobb Knobbler every murican ever

He isn’t saying that. There are other countries than the United States that are getting cheated also, Canada should have the world fastest man right now not US or Jamaica.
I donated my samples to that team and got a thank you note from the queen.
Suspicious you say, do you Victor? You quote a guy saying he's the most gifted sprinter that's ever lived. That's high praise. You (Victor) then go on to say that you think he could have broken the world record *without* having used drugs, if he has ever used drugs. Why not just say his record is legitimate based on what you see, and on his once-in-a-generation talent, and there is no evidence whatsoever that he's ever used PED's? *AND LEAVE IT AT THAT* .
The best statement in the whole debate so far, there is no evidence that he has ever used PEDs and until he is caught only wild speculation and accusations will continue to be said
"When was the last time that one SMALL country won all 3 medals"......sounds like he has a personal issue
Hes right! These guys are breaking records of people we know were doping! How are they not?

Cheaters always think everyone else is cheating just to put things into perspective

Nonsense.... When someone who is not American makes great achievements, suspicion is thrown in
True😀😀
People want fast times and are disappointed when they don't get them; but, when they do get them, they say everyone is on steroids. It's funny years ago, there were many from Jamaica who said every American athlete was dirty, and I remember saying once your athletes start winning you will see your athletes come under scrutiny... Low and behold here comes the scrutiny... Haters are equal opportunity offenders: if it's good for them, you best believe it's good enough for you and your.
Of the 30 fastest 100m times ever, only nine were achieved by a clean athlete - and all were run by Usain Bolt
If you think Bolt is natural your an utter fool
buhahaha
LMAO... Thats Lance Armstrong fanbois level... they said the same ("he won clean over a full doped peloton")... We all know how that was ending 17 years later... Its amazing how dumb mankind is. They fell over the same lies again, again, and again... Albert Einstein was correct.
So basically none were clean?
@@josefserf1926 Since mid 80s, under 9.9... nobody... Maybe Carl Lewis 10.00 in 1982 was cleanish, but then again look at the pre Olympic Games 1984 doping scandal USOC... When the real arms race started, invented by Ben Johnson´s staff (a out of nowhere clown), nothing was near clean anymore... then came the below 9.9, even below 9.8 times by numerous no names in the "golden" HGH/Epo times... and then Gay/Bolt (and his gang from the no testing heaven Jamaica)... Absurd show. No more, no less.

He’s definitely shady, no doubt about that.
This is the mentality of shady people in all walks of life. They are so used to getting results in shady ways that they can't believe it can be done any other way.
I thought bolt was holding back for a while before running his best like celebrating early when he broke the record at his 1st olympics
Cos he didn't know what the time was?
Nick Evans what?
Definitely
This is so off point... The single greatest indicator of Bolt being dirty is his astronomical improvement from 2007 to 2008.
Also the fact that nobody has run under 9.80 clean but Bolt ran 9.58
No team was tested more frequently than the Jamaican national team. If Bolt or any of them were using drugs surely we would know.
"He's a very scientific guy."
this guy is an expert in performance enhancing drugs. he's been in prison for it.
Its called TRAINING!!!!!
Americans really hate to lose! Meanwhile, Jamaicans have been producing dominant sprinters for decades.
Whether that be Don Quarrie, Merlene Ottey, Grace Jackson, and Juliet Cuthbert or Donovan Bailey, and Linford Christie.
But for an island nation of less than three million the question must be "Why?" What is the special ingredient that make Jamaicans so fast? Not genes -- they're of West African descent, common to all the Americas (as well as to West Africa). Not training. One can argue that sprinting is Jamaica's national sport and so it will naturally "compete above its' weight class" and have a long history of producing great sprinters. Sure, but to achieve dominance over the entire world? Highly suspicious.
@@dscott6629 when people understand the Jamaican culture and we do even off the formal tracks it’s a thing for us to be always racing against each other. Everything is always suspicious when the great mighty ones don’t have what the little islands do you all need to get the hell over it.

His numbers are all over the place. Saying women ran 9.84 and 10.19… then to say 10.8 is slower than that. I’m not saying he’s wrong, but if he can’t keep numbers straight, that seems “suspicious”.
He meant to say 11.19. But he still lying 😆
He definitely accidentally misspoke but he knows what he meant. To go from 11.35 to 10.7 is extremely suspicious. Humans can only do so much naturally
Naw. He simply made a mistake. He meant 11.19 and 10.84. Come on now!
Having good genetics would Indeed baffle someone who doesn’t have good genes, if you can’t do it, it doesn’t mean others can’t
They're suspicious because you can't do it
America and Europe just can’t handle the fact that Jamaicans are that good
Wow that’s the biggest explanation of “I don’t Know” I have ever heard
Lots of interesting but inaccurate statements I’m not saying there isn’t any mispractice in the Jamaican system but I find it incredible how Americans can take the moral high ground about smaller associations getting away with covering positive tests etc when their own federation has used their weight and muscle to make their own athletes positives disappear. Suspiciously fast
PEDs don't work as well for people that are genetically gifted (like Usain) to run fast with a strict training and diet regimen. So if he was on drugs I don't think his record will be that much different (if at all different).

The length of time the Jamaicans have dominated the sprints has given ample opportunity for them to be discovered for illegal substance usage and yet none have ever been discovered.
