Hey! Really enjoyed this video, thought it was super helpful!
Was just wondering when you’d be uploading more videos? They seem to be helping a lot.
    Thanks :)

Hey Leyla! Thanks for the kind words. March exams were intense with lots of back to back exams so I havent really been filming. I did vlog a bit during exams and so I will post another vlog very soon. My aim is to upload more now that Ive just got 2 electives left at uni. Please let me know if there is anything in particular you'd like to see on here! Xx

Great vlog😍Glad your exam went well!❤
Law school is challenging enough without having to take accounting courses😂
I'm currently prepping for my Legal Accountancy exam in a couple weeks. How do you do it? As someone who opted out of math related electives since childhood, financial accounting just feels so ... abstract..? And it requires extra effort compared to my other law courses.
Sidenote= Calculator struggles🤣Pressing the wrong numbers on your calculator is the most frustrating thing, especially when you don't notice it till you're done with the whole thing.

Omg! I'm glad it's not just me who presses the wrong buttons. I do it so often I always double and triple check calculations!
Just keep practising I was really rubbish at first but I practised so often that it became easier and I ended up getting in the 90s for my results.
      Good luck! Xx

      @@Camillatalks noted 🤣🤭 I quadruple check! 🤣 I really don't trust my calculator.
Congrats on your exam!!!! Wow, 90✨✨✨ That's impressive 💯
And thanks for the tip. I practise as much as possible. Can't wait till the exam is over, so I can put this behind me 🔥💪😹

Completely messed up this exam and feel really down about it.
The financial statement I have no idea on how to even answer, literally I just read a page of numbers and didn't really know what to do with them.
The ledger, I understood it all in the lessons, but in the exam it just felt so unfamiliar. Any tips or helpful things you have I would really appreciate

      Hi Liam
Did you use the workbook to practise the ledger and the financial statement questions? I re-did the tasks from the workshops and also the workbook about 5 or 6 times because I found it SO confusing in the lesson. I remember watching the revision lecture a number of times as well. It's not a topic that came naturally to me so I made sure I practised a lot.
I'm sure you have done enough to pass, but in the worst case scenario just make sure that you keep practising until you can do it with your eyes closed.
Please let me know if you have any questions.

Hey! I failed my first attempt at Accounts :( I have a resit coming up but I don't really know how to revise for it now. Do you have any advice please. Im currently at Westminster doing my LPC. Good luck to you and everyone else doing the LPC x

Hey! Did you get feedback on the exam? Was there a particular area you struggled with? And do you get past papers/mocks to practise with at Uni of Westminster?
I have not yet passed the exam so I am a bit apprehensive about giving advice for how to revise for it, but I do feel confident with my preparation so hopefully I can help in some way. It's always a good idea to speak to your tutor firstly about revision techniques/plans as they will be best placed to help given their extensive experience!
I have written an explanation for how I prepared for the exam here: camillauppal.com/lawedit/exam-day-solicitors-accounts-exam-jan-2022
Good luck on your resit and on the rest of the course x

Hi! I just started my LPC with ULaw this month. Did you write your exam on the Respondus Software? Could you give us your experience with the software because using the software seems daunting since it can flag certain stuff during the exam. For instance, the area I live in is quite noisy sometimes and I'm worried that if my neighbour decides to suddenly play loud music during one of my exams, if Respondus would flag it and that I would fail simply because of the music which would be extremely unfair.

Hey, apologies for not going into detail about the Respondus software during this video...I can see now how that probably would have been useful!
I haven't had any issues with Respondus. It will likely flag noises and strange movements etc, but it's nothing to worry about from my experience. They are just going to be looking out for evidence or suggestions that cheating is taking place. So, if there was noise suggesting someone else was in the room with you, or you moved away from your computer (without telling them you are going for a bathroom break etc) then you may get questioned and have your exam footage investigated. It wouldn't be an automatic fail from a flag at all - there would need to be an investigation.
I think that the uni knows that there will be certain things beyond your control. Loud music from a neighbour may cause the system to flag your exam, but I am sure that the uni would be understanding so long as it didn't suggest cheating was taking place. Of course this is just my speculation - if you want to be safe then I would advise emailing the assessments office if you want to double check with them.
You could also put a note though your neighbours door, explain that you have an exam on the day and ask that they refrain from any loud music/building work during the day - I am sure that most people would be understanding of this and help you out! :)

@@Camillatalks Thanks so much for your response! I really enjoy all your content, it keeps me motivated! If you could make a separate video on the Respondus Software for exams, a lot of us would really appreciate it because I'm sure I'm not the only newcomer ULaw LPC student who watches your videos.

I also Has my Solicitor's Accounts exam on Responds on Jan 6th. Doing the course from my home country. And I've no issue with responds either and it seems like the school is aware that it might take people getting used to because we got extra time since we had to build the tables ourselves.
      Good luck in your LPC!
