- I started my Retinol journey 3years back and its been a game changer for me.
For beginners and my sensitive skin peeps, follow the retinol sandwich method:
Step 1: Start with Double Cleanse - Oil cleanser followed by a facewash.
Step 2: Use your go-to night serum. I use @letshyphen Golden Hour Glow serum.
Step 3: Apply a hydrating moisturizer. I use my absolute favourite Hyphen Barrier Care Cream!
Step 4: Apply a pea sized amount of a retinoid. I use Tretinoin 0.025%
Step 5: Seal with another layer of Barrier Care Cream!
And you're done ✨

Tretinoin is the best skin care ingredient suggested by my dermatologist. During covid, I suffered with severe acne when my dermat suggested it and there's no stopping since. Do consult a doctor before incorporating it in your skincare and gradually build your tolerance. Do remember it gets worse before it gets better and better takes time, so be consistent with it.
i also used tretinion gel for my acne prone skin it worked very well and the best part is that it is available in most affordable prices.If anyone is suffering for severe acne go for it🫡

@@DOOZYEDITZ After using tretinoin in continuity, I've not had a single acne or acne mark on my face since past year. Tretinoin really helps if used in a proper way in continuity. Besides, I also use salicylic acid serum everyday in my morning skincare routine except the day after tretinoin at night. It helps with my oily skin to remain oil free. I'm ecstatic and satisfied with both the products.
@@DOOZYEDITZ I occasionally had dry skin the night after applying tretinoin, so I used sandwich method. Moisturizer+Tretinoin+Moisturizer.
Better to use ceramide and hyaluronic acid moisturizer to maintain a healthy skin barrier during tretinoin.

I have been using ricebeery face wash by litilextra rather than soap since a year now. Through my experience: 1. Extremely smooth skin from the very first use. 2. Got even skin tone gradually. 3. Tretinoin is Schedule H drug in India and must be used with doctor's prescription only. Side Effects may include but not be limited to Dry skin, Peeling, Skin redness, Burning, Itching, Stinging sensation. Tretinoin is a Category C drug and IS CONSIDERED UNSAFE DURING PREGNANCY. Lactating/ breastfeeding women will have to consult their doctors. As an influencer, you have to be responsible with your recommendations!

Today it's all different we start eating chemicals from young age unlike mothers and grandmother and we have bad climates now unlike our childhood
My mum only use soap, ponds cream in face and Lil bit Vaseline lotion on arms. During summer only soap and glow and lovely(formerly fair n lovely) on face. She is 53 but her skin glows like anything. Much better than mine who is 28😅😅😅.

I m using tretionin0.25% recommended by my doctor.... It really dries skin... But very good for acne vulgaris and milias too
Plz use it only once or twice a week avoiding all other actives as u dnt need a whole bunch of skincare as tretinoin is sufficient along with a sunscreen that is spf 50 plus

Yes, my doc had prescribed it to me once and it really worked wonders but the moment I got to know the side effects of it I immediately discontinued using it.
Please discontinue using it at least 6 months prior to planning to get pregnant as this cream can cause severe physiological birth defects.

Guys I have a doubt, aren't we not supposed to use any other actives with Retinol? But Golden glow serum has kakadu plum, a form of vitamin C doesn't it affect the skin when paired with Tretinoin??

My dermatologist suggested me to stop tretinoin when planning pregnancy preferably before 6 months. Tretinoin is very good but only if taken with dermatologist's advice.
