How to fix a cracked windshield

* If you want to repair cracks I put grease on the sides of the crack and under the suction cups, this allows you to slide the entire applicator across the glass while maintaining pressure on the crack. obviously re fill the resin container as needed.*

Very helpful, but how would you do a long crack? you said to move the suction holder, but that would be impossible if you have a 15 inch crack... ???

If you want to try and fix it yourself I recommend getting two kits to make sure you have enough resin.
You’ll also want to buy some small amount of grease.
You follow all the same steps in the video but you put grease on both sides of the crack (without getting any on the crack itself, as well as a little grease on the bottom of all 4 suction cups)
The grease will allow you to slide the applicator across the crack while still maintaining the suction cups sticking against the window.
Put a couple drops in the applicator then screw the plunger down while slowly moving the applicator across the crack
Make sure you continue to refill the resin as you go along to ensure the crack gets filled.
I’ve done this same process on my windshield for an 18” crack, so as long as you keep the resin filled up and keep screwing the plunger in as you go along the crack you can do it too!
