Gone way too soon 😢 He was amazing with Soundgarden, Temple of the Dog, Audioslave, etc, and even better solo. His last tour was primarily acoustic...I was lucky enough to see it twice, several months apart. He passed not long after...such a loss.
3:19 "Can you imagine this guy with just a piano or guitar" Funny you should say that, because I definitely can! There's a fantastic live version of this song at Troubadour, from January 29 2010, and it does an even better job at showing off Chris soulful voice than the studio version. Would love if you reacted to that one, or at least listen to it on your own time.
thanks for the great reaction! It's been mentioned here already but just wanted to put in another - if you check out the live at the Troubadour performance of this song, he does it exactly as you hoped - just him and a piano, and it is perfection. I prefer it above and beyond to the studio version. you'll find it if you search "Chris Cornell - When I'm Down - Troubadour, January 29 2010" - direct link is ua-cam.com/video/2ZrvbZ7_CSk/v-deo.html
Yes! My favorite. You have to do live at the Troubadour version. Aaammmzing ❤😊 also he is way better live and has tons of live stuff out there. Like a stone live at aol is sooo good too.
Chris Cornell had his deamons and they finally caught up with him and he committed suicide by overdose. One of, if not the greatest voices in rock ever. RIP Chris!
RIP CHRIS THIS GUY HAD ONE OF THE GREATEST VOICES THROUGHOUT HISTORY!!!
I'm still not over his death. He was the voice of my generation and he will NEVER be forgotten.

Oh what a voice Chris Cornell had
RIP Legend
I remember buying Euphoria Morning the day it came out. I played it on repeat for weeks and weeks on end. Absolutely steller record.

Great version, voice cracks and all
@@JacksswastedlifeOnce I believe.
Came here to say this. The definitive version, imo, because it's how he intended it to sound when he wrote it
I was just about to type those exact words when I saw your comment.
cane here to say do not miss the Troubadour video 💜
He was simply brilliant.

I was sitting here listening with my eyes closed and and he sounded like a combination of Ray Charles and Billy Joel. Nice tune. Thanks guys 🎼
He was really really good !!😊😊

Beautiful ❤️ song 🔥🔥
This is wonderful. I’m truly impressed and plan to search for the live performance that has been mentioned here. Thanks Harri and Jack. 🌺✌️
Impressive!!
This whole sound reminds me of the late great Leon Russell. 🎹
Yes!!!!
Wouw 🎉❤🙏👍🥰
Holy shit why did I do this to myself? 😭☮️💜
Live at the Troubadour is a must if you dig this song. Check it out, it’s raw & totally amazing… ✌🏼
HARRI--you need to hear the live acoustic version of this song--as excellent as this is--that one is even more powerful.

No I'm sorry but he hung himself 😢
He didn't OD...As mentioned, he hung himself.
Chris was the BEST EVER!!!!
It’s a weeping to die song.
I get a kick from your reactions. John Lennon's I'm Losing You seems to have been overlooked. It got lots of airplay once upon a time.
There is an acoustic version with just piano. (Which he claimed was how it was supposed to be. )
This version is nothing compared to the 2010 Trubador live version. RIP Chris we miss you ❤
There actually is an acoustic version of this song.
the payoff of this song is “I’m down all the time” it’s a love song
Why dont you guy slur him up like you care to know him. Is this lesson 101 to deplore someone?
Great song and great album. Thanks for reacting too it. ✌️
