It’s such a shame that the lid of the firebox doesn’t have the removable spark arrestor like the Nortent does. I really want spark arrestor overkill to prevent burn marks on my tents, so I most definitely prefer two spark arrestors (top AND bottom) over one (just top). Damn, Winnerwell stoves are so nice, I really wish that they would add this feature/accessory to all their stoves.
@Kaitlin Bunge there are tents made with a stove jack already in them, but you can also buy your own stove jack setup and DIY on any ordinary tent; you could turn any tent into a hot tent. Keep in mind the flooring aswell. You dont want a hot stove sitting over fabric.
Any chance you will add a glass window to the door? I realize it’s a better stove than the 3w but the ambiance factor is better with 3w for minimal weight gain.
Ti pipe is a bear the first time. Don't do this alone in the field unless someone places a weight on one end to hold it. Dang this looks nice. Is the pipe really 3 inch diameter? Also does warping effect the fast fold operation?
What about a shield where the flue oasses thru the tent to achieve some dead air space. Four Dog Stove has one and the Edfel stove Tentipi sell comes with one. My new Winnerwell is sitting here in the floor and I want to shield the tent?
My priorities were for a small, solid panel titanium tent stove and whilst this is beautifully constructed, I felt it too large and heavy for my particular application. I narrowed it down to the Seek Outside Titanium Cub Stove, with the top plate cooktop from their U-Turn model for its 2.5 inch stovepipe aperture instead of the larger 3.125 inch as standard on the solid panel Cub Stove. I've just bought four threaded titanium rods (allthread) M4 and round base weld nuts M4 for stovetop fittings and stainless steel wing nuts M4, which make the stove even lighter. It has a titanium baffle, damper and spark arrestor and a 0.5mm thick expanded titanium mesh side warming tray modelled on the Kifaru Stove Warming Tray and a 9 foot titanium stovepipe. It also has an additional stove base panel to act as a snow platform. A 1mm thick expanded titanium mesh sheet forms a grate as I intend to be burning smokeless charcoal briquettes and manufactured stove logs as well as found wood. I'm also considering making a stack robber to complement the baffle and damper to see what sort of heat output and duration can be achieved in such a small stove. Finally, a sheet of stove glass will act as the sliding door for a view of the fire dance. No stove ever made would have met the spec that I sought, but I've really enjoyed sourcing bits and pieces to make it into what will be my perfect tent stove! It would have been lighter if I just bought the Seek Outside Cub U-Turn Stove with its titanium foils sides and rear, but I wanted a solid panel stovebox. It would also have been less expensive to have bought any standard size and spec stove rather than refine one of the right size, but I wanted exactly what I now have.
looks good but if you have a very light stove pipe comeing out of your tent. and it very windy i think it wil bend .the wind as a lot of power .i would get a bit nervous abount buying any very light stoves , after all they are not cheap
I like this stove, but the price is a bit much to swallow. I'm seriously considering the Luxe 3W folding titanium stove. Significantly cheaper, same weight, and packs smaller. But, does have those loose assembly parts, flue damper seems a bit hokey, and lacks that nice chimney cap.
Hi -other thing to consider is if the stove you are looking at includes a chimney pipe- often it's not included and adds significantly to the price- the Winnerwell Fastfold Titanum includes a 9 foot pipe

Does anyone else think the way he filmed this was irritating? The only thing I wanted to see was that stove assembled in one continuous shot. But it seemed like he wanted to film himself talking more than he wanted to show the product.

Yeah, I've seen different stoves sold like that. But it does come with 6.6' (2m) with the standard package, or 9.8' (3m) optional for $30 more.
Element of Kindness you need a G-stove...!!!😎
