Juicing fruits and vegetables and an hour brisk walk everyday I lost 25 lbs in month and half, afterwards I put my kiddo brother on same routine who remained obese most of his life and he lost whooping 110 pounds in 4 months.

Great video. I researched juicing machines before I bought one. I spent a little more and purchased a better unit. I bought the Omega 8006 masculating type. You have to cut your veggies and fruit into smaller pieces. The pulp is dry which indicates that you get all the goodness into your juice.

The nutribullet is just another blender. I havent tested one yet, but plan on soon. The only thing special about it is for a small blender, its fairly powerful, but does NOT compare to the vitamix, which is the blender I recommend if you are serious.

I have found that the more ingredients I put in my juice..the bigger chance I get of having heartburn. Celery always gave me heartburn..so now I just juice 2 bags of carrots and one bag of apples daily..and that's it. And these are the large bags you get at Sams Club. =)

How much should a person drink? Its up to them. For example, two days ago I drank over a gallon of fresh juices. That being said, that day I didn't eat much else. In general on a daily basis I drink from 32 to 48 ounce along with eating a healthy fruit and vegetable based diet.

Also nice to add 1/2?or full lemon and ginger. Lemon really helps masks the edginess of the greens. Ginger provides a nice kick in the finish (after taste).

Hey John, I really enjoyed this video. I actually enjoy all your videos. Could you please tell me which is better, juicing or blending in a Vitamix. I always thought having the juice and fiber would be better. Is it better to do both? Thanks!

Whats the deal with spinach I have been juicing it everyday but, I just read that you should only juice it 2 to 3 times a week because It contains oxalic acid which can interfere with the absorption of calcium in the body..is that true Because I love Spinach and I know that Popeye wouldn't lie to me!

I cant deal with the taste of the greens.. Does drowning the taste out with more fruit still give you the results you need? Or can I just juice fruit and be able to do this?

Too much carrot, or like colour vegs, can give one a orange hue to skin. Worked in a juice bar and had a frequent orange client! ha he was a little wacky & may have lived on the stuff. IDK

Thanks, John. what do you recommend for people who work long hours and can't juice at work? I've heard that the juice oxidizes pretty much immediately, so if I juice in advance and take to work in a jar, am I doing myself any favors? Thank you.

In a book (Back To Eden) by Jethro Gloss, it states that one should never eat fruits and veggies at the same time!!! Keep it simple as not to overload your stomach with more than it can process at one time....small steps for the new people . From Selah,Wa.98942

John - enjoy your videos & info!
Hope your viewers know to carefully wash all produce that they did not grow themselves; may be you could do a video on how to best wash non-organic produce - which kinds should be washed in vinegar vs soap, etc to best remove the chemicals typically applied to particular kinds of produce.

I have a question for John or anyone who is familiar with what I'm talking about. I have begun to play around with juicing fruits and veggies and found that Kale juice burns my stomach terribly. No matter what else I may mix it with, the Kale still burns my stomach.
Has anyone else had problems with Kale?
I would like to consume it because it is so high in nutrition, but, the burning is so bad, I just can't at this point.

Juicing is processing. Literally, in every sense of the word. Just like healthy brown rice is milled down to rather unhealthy white rice you lose the fibrous material and then it gets milled into flour you lose the structure that slows down the absorption and makes your body work for it. When you juice similarly you often pull out the fibrous matter and you always break up the structure.
