Agreed! Appreciate the shout out to smaller churches. It's hard not to get caught up in all the hype about the bigger church and forget to focus on highlighting your people, your church, your look/feel. Well said @Mike Cline and thanks so much for always giving helpful wisdom @Brady Shearer!
Love this. Went to follow Trust God Bro - I like their designs - but all their captions are just "AMEN if you agree..." which seems so.. blerg - ALGORITHMIC. 🙃
Thanks for the shout out Brady! @rockgenchurch Your videos now have more leverage whenever presenting an idea to our pastor! 👌😂 P.S. Thanks for all the follows! We grew 2x since this video went live! ☺️ And of course shout out to our social media team! 💯
Does the feed aesthetic truly make a difference in the impression of posts? I've yet to find that to be true. And you mentioned that with Potomac Valley Church. However, even they don't really have that much engagement in comparison to their following (nearly 45k followers but most posts have less than 5 comments). What is your determining factor in seeing a church Instagram as "successful"? Thoughts on that? Thanks so much for all your videos and articles. Love learning from ProChurch Tools
Great questions, Hannah. I try to define the criteria for each church as to why I'm including them in the list - so for Potomoac, content variety and not relying on outstanding visuals was why I included them here. There are a number of variables that count toward engagement, so for this list at least, I tried not to limit the list to churches that were doing *everything* well. As for overall success, I'd point to this video here on social media ministry policy: ua-cam.com/video/DrP5_HQleGo/v-deo.html

GLORY TO GOD!!! 🥰🙌🏻
Potomac Valley Church! Legendary.
huge shout out !
"church adjacent"?? Is that a euphemism for Christian?
Haha, yeah I guess. Meant to describe accounts that are serving churches or are in the Christian subculture but aren't churches themselves.
