I appreciate the amount of effort you seem to have put into this list, but putting Falco in low tier is certainly one of the wildest takes of all time.
I was honestly hoping someone would call me out on this. I made this list about 5 months ago, to give myself enough time for the editing, and since then I definitely have regretted putting falco this low. Last month I played a lot with Falco and realized he is a very good character, which is why a lot of my recent shorts have been with Falco. When i made the list i wasn't familiar with falcos great chain grab, and how useful his jab and reflector really are. I still think falcos a little overrated, but I would now put him near the top of mid tier. I plan on doing a ssbb character tier list ranking in the future, and will give falco a little more love. I was definitely to harsh on him in this video.
@@supersmashbrosbrawl-rc7uq Fair enough. I can respect and debate the idea you now have about Falco being somewhat overrated. Maybe put a disclaimer in the description about the time lapse and how you're opinion changed.
I couldn't keep going as this list is considerably daring to post and really doesn't make sense depending on the context of this tier list. I feel your version of a tier list is all scoped around your own point of views that is dependent on how you use the character and your limited experience. Reality stands that a tier list serves to calculate their overall performance not only the game, but among other experienced players. I won't even go into the hot takes on Fox/Falco being this low, but once I saw Wario I couldn't keep watching. Wario has INCREDIBLE air speed, which allows him to survive at ridiculous percentages due to Brawl's physics and proper DI. He isn't exactly combo food either due to his weight in the air and having the ability to escape that compliments this compared to Wolf, DK or Snake for examples. Wario in the air is overall a menace and has safe and effective aerials that put many under pressure and have a hard time approaching Wario safely, all comes down to the match up itself. Safer characters to counter this could be like Olimar due to pikmin security, Falco due to laser space out defense options and an overall stronger aerial game debatably and Snake because of his long array of projectiles at his leisure. I don't think I need to continue on, but I would agree with the official tier list any day despite its age due to RESULTS and his components that keep characters like Wario a serious contender threat and anyone that objects against this is probably reviewing this at a casual or inexperienced level.
I appreciate your comment. I figure you must be a pretty big brawl fan to give this big of a comment. These rankings are only based on my opinions. Competitive play has no effect on these rankings. I made these rankings around 5 months ago, and since then one of the major changes i would make is putting Falco up higher. My opinion on wario and fox remains the same though. Even if Wario is a tough character to approach, it doesn't matter because he doesnt have a projectile to force his opponent to approach. I admit I'am not a pro at this game, but I have been playing this game a long time, daily. If you prefer the official rankings, great. I just think that its not perfect, and competitive play in general, was the death of brawl.
@@supersmashbrosbrawl-rc7uq Admittedly your response is appreciated to see your point of view. I used to play Brawl competitively and I've been following your channel for a minute and I was curious about this tier list you presented, but you clarified your point so to that, I can grill you for that and after all, its all opinionated. Keep up the Brawl content
I didnt expect Yoshi in this video tbh, the fact that his shield is an egg is something unique and cool. If you want to play yoshi in easy modes like all stars, classic mode, final bosses or brawl of 100 is the best pick, he is really fast and can kill with one attack, also is really easy to beat records on time Also pokemon trainer deserves to be in this video, but more lower, Charizard is the best of the three pokemon, but the others are really bad playable, if squirtle or ivysaur were fighters alone, probably would be worse than Jigglypuff. And also to finish, changing pokemon another time to Charizard could be the end of one important fight☠️ Pd: srry if my english is bad, im spanish hahaha
The rankings are based on how good each character is in a 1 v 1, 3 stock match with no items on Brawl mode. Maybe if I included the other modes yoshi might have been higher, but honestly I never play anything other then brawl mode. I understand your point about pokemon trainer. I usually only play as charizard with pokemon trainer. Lately, though I have found that squirtles not too bad either, but ivysaur is definitely atrocious. I think there is definitely an argument for him being the worst character in the game, mainly because his tether grab recovery, is the worst recovery in brawl, because of how easy it is to ledge hog against.

Did you main Wario in competitive brawl?
@@supersmashbrosbrawl-rc7uq I did. I also used Wolf to counter certain match ups or for projectile purposes.
Cool, my main is samus, pretty obvious because of my channel logo.
