Lol and no body understands the purpose to questioning the cop. Lol cops also get legal counsel prior to a court hearing but now he's screwed by saying 90sh, he can't say 98 later and 90sh during the stop. Which is it? As an ex police officer, Damon what he said is very accurate. If the radar gun is not in the mode to pick up your speed a radar detector will not detect the radar gun. Props to his patience though.

He pulled then over to give them a warning even though he admitted seeing the van with no lights a very high risk to everyone on the road not to mention its very possible the van could be stolen

I worked with military radar systems.... you have to send and receive to get a reading ...I'd like a foia on his internal cameras ..sorry ....I no longer trust cops but this video has prompted me to buy a dash cam as I drive a 2022 busa ,2002 lightning and a pro street 78 Firebird .... I've seen when people get pulled over for what,,, a seatbelt infraction and the officer is told I have a dash cam ... The stop is over... Thanks for your service BTW ...TT

In VA those things are illegal so even if you get by with using one you atleast can't try to use it being in your car as reason enough as to why you know you weren't speeding and he didn't clock it.

I can't believe you argued with that officer that long. I have seen instances where the cop was going to let a person off with a warning but the person argued and then ended up getting a ticket.
That’s literally happened to me. I completely talked my way out of everything, not even a written warning. Then my idiot friend opened his mouth and next thing i know my cars getting searched and I’m handcuffed sitting on a mound of snow on the side of the road. After an hour i got to drive home and my buddy got arrested for warrants. Such a dumbass to open his mouth knowing he had a warrant

true......and possibly a liar. 40 yrs ago I was on my motorcycle approaching a stop light, a cop was coming from right taking a left hand turn in front of me as I was coming to a stop. The area is notorious for cops so I was not speeding, plus I was slowing down for traffic behind the light. I went through the light and saw him turn around behind me and subsequently pull me over. There's NO WAY possible I was speeding. He refused to show me the radar. From that point on I have never trusted a cops word. Ever. They're liars.

Yes Damon does speed, but doesn't mean he was speeding when the cop claimed he saw him speeding. Those cops probably dont have a lot or any modified lambos going through there. He could have left the gas station and sped up to the speedlimit, and with their cars that would still be super loud so they could easily suspect you to be speeding

I drove through Salt Lake City once and when it got to four lanes everyone was doing 90mph at 8 am, three lanes of traffic and 90% of us were flying passed an ambulance with its lights on... another time I was in Oakland ca and I was weaving in and out of traffic at 90 mph again and a sheriff pulled up next to me and I had no idea she was there and my sister pointed her out and I looked over, saw her on her phone w that death glare and I gently tapped the brakes a few times to bring her down to the speed limit and she just kept going over the speed limit. Carryon. Don’t mess with cops bro. If they are being cool, don’t. If they are on a power trip that’s a 180 degree flip of attitude

Cop was a total asshole. Lied about the speeding. Ignored a vehicle without headlights on which is way more dangerous. This cop wasn’t doing his damn job right. All he saw was luxury cars that he could cite and make money for the city that’s it. The driver did nothing wrong but was defending himself from a bogus traffic stop. Cops like that are the reasons why a lot of citizens show little respect for them.
What I don't understand is if this has happened on multiple occasions and you own a Lamborghini why haven't you upgraded your cameras to the ones that have your speed attached to the video being recorded 🤔

Didn’t give off nervous vibes which keeps the interaction less tense. 9 times out of 10 when I get pulled over we are on edge because of how they act towards my past history and how they try violating my rights for NO reason by always coming up with a bs reason of why they should be able to take me out of the car and try and search it. Fortunately most of them understand the word NO as much as they don’t like to hear it!

That Radar that he was referring to is called "Pulse on" Radar. It is specifically designed to work and defeat detection from radar detectors just like your counter-measures. You should contact Ed from VinWiki because he is probably an Expert on all that stuff.
This Officer was professional and knew his SHIT! The other officers from other videos could take a lesson from this Officer. He knew his mile markers and kept his demeanor!

Unbelievable!! Those were the most decent professional officers I have ever seen, makes me want to cry with the realization that all officers aren't corrupt assholes. I think the one is a perfect role model for teaching others the correct way to act and triple check that they are following procedure exactly rather than power tripping, abusing their authority etc. Hats off to them and the Lamborghini drivers for a job well done!

Everything this officer said is actually pretty consistent with 3 cars speeding. From his explanation to his denial to show the radar is consistent with policy.

Honestly this guy is a prime example of exotic cars naturally catching someone's vision. I bet the dude flicked his radar on for a millisecond as you were accelerating or passing. Dude clearly wasn't power hungry. I'd go even as far to say he only gave out tickets because he knew if he let it slide, he'd get the boot.

Even if it was on for millisecond his radar scanner would have picked it up. The cop was full of shit. Who the fuck speeds through a construction zone with those high concrete barriers anyway the road is always sketch through those sections I doubt they would risk their million dollar SVJ driving 100 mph through that.

There are a lot more like him. Most cops I have met are real professionals. The problem is, there are agitators, hate mongers, fear mongers who constantly pit us against cops. They are far more likely to show a cops doing something inappropriate than something altruistic.

The majority of people that have vehicles like these are not actually responsible enough to own them. After all, these people are giving the cops the PC to stop them to begin with.
There’s a good reason they don’t have dash cams. It would show how poorly they drive, speed excessively and validate everything the cops say they’re doing.

Side note Damon, its called POP radar. I run the exact detector you guys use in all 4 of my cars and sometimes I will catch a POP. The Escort takes 2.3 seconds to see pop. Only reason I was wanting the Uniden because it picks up POP in less than half the time. He only needs 1 second to tag with POP and the Escort simply wont see it UNLESS you shut down a lot of the K filters. Its in the phone app menu to have it just scan certain ranges and also shut down some noise things but then Acura and Audi and Benz lane assist will set it off.

I've completely turned off both X and K on my Escort. Just so many damn false alerts in Phoenix. Just keep Ka on.
Yup. To detect POP you open yourself up to false alerts, and shorter detection ranges for other bands.
Even still, if it's MPH brand (which Nevada apparently uses) which can get a reading in 16ms, high end detectors may not detect it 80% of the time or more.
Which is probably why the officer is also saying combination of pacing & radar. Pacing to establish tracking history and baseline, & POP radar to get the specific speed reading without alerting detectors.
