Tesla, the maker of the world’s most popular consumer vehicle, is now ready to share more information on their Tesla Semi program that was announced back in 2017. At ACT Expo 2024, Dan Dan Priestley, senior manager of Tesla's Semi program, and
Erik Neandross, president of GNA (the organizers of ACT Expo), sat down and had a conversation about Tesla’s Semi program. Additionally, this was Tesla’s first time participating in a trade show or industry conference. During Priestley and Neandross’ conversation, they talked about what kind of fleets can potentially buy the Tesla Semi, the interoperability of Tesla Semi Trucks with different chargers, and the biggest challenges facing the electric trucking industry as a whole.
