Just a Left and right mono track, I choose the Stomp for making a compact rig show ready, It fit in my backpack, The Helix is very big and expensive and with 6 block is more than enough to make good tones.
Simon Cléroux - Definitely! For $500-$700 LESS, and you can get sick killer tones...why the f**k not, right? It’s been conflicting my decision because, I’m always thinking, “bigger is always better” even if it hurts the wallet. But in this case, I’m glad to have come across your video. I’m currently using the (neglected) Line 6 Firehawk 1500 amp, and it sucks that it no longer has support. I think I may just get the Stomp, and see for myself. Cheers!
@@charlesalmero331 it really depend of your need, I use it as an interface to record direct in computer via Usb so I really like the size of this little monster to go and record anywhere. Its also a must if you use any other exernal pedals, to create your own pedal board.
@@simoncleroux7554 Yo, what's up dude! I just picked up the Stomp this weekend, and it's definitely an eye opener to what the Helix line is capable of. I also tried out your preset, it's not bad at all. A little too much on the low-end, but that's probably from my monitors (Mackie CR4).
@@simoncleroux7554 OK cool so I've got a 6 string guitar it should still work the same then it's just like like that riff so I'm gonna give it ago as I love playing heavy metal

So why did you choose the Stomp over the other Helix’s?
Great sound btw, very clean! Did you quad-track this recording?
