  • In this video I show you how to dial in a tight modern metal rhythm tone on the Line 6 Helix. This particular tone is also going to be part of my new Helix Preset Pack (link below). I hope you learn a little trick or two from this video, and will consider to support me by checking out my website.
This tone works with Helix/LT/Native & HX Stomp (on the newest firmware).
    Hope you enjoy!
Subscribe, like, comment, and share - it helps me out a ton!

Just wanted to stop by and let you know I dialled this in and took it to band practice tonight; it sounded great! I will be modifying it to loosen it up a little as we are not too techy so so could do with a little more noise, but this has given me a fantastic starting point. Thank you so much

So I'm a jerk and I've been forcing my poor strat to play in Drop A/Drop B. I got a stomp a few days ago, and this was a great source to dive into. Thanks dude.

Same. I'm a church player but most of the music I listen to on a daily basis is in drop g or drop a so I force my poor strat and tele and my poor 8.5 gauge strings to chug in drop a

Since i plan on running direct to foh for live shows this should be good to go correct? Maybe minor tweaks since i have a different guitar. I use a frfr for practice also.

    • @Komposition101
      @Komposition101  7 місяців тому

Should be more or less good to go, yes.
Of course, you need to tweak for different guitar, pickups and playing style. But it should get you in the ball park for sure! :)
You can also use global EQ for tuning to the specific stage and room - if you wanna get nerdy with it :)

      @@M3tal_matt No sorry, I don't.
Tbh, I never used it live myself, I always seem to get decent results with the presets I tweak from home.

@@Komposition101 Ah okay. I've been playing for almost 20 years and never heard of baritone guitars... I usually just pick some heavy gauge and tune down. Which hasn't always been the best.

Haha, well, it is a jungle. But now you know they exist.
I did the same for years, but somtimes it really messes with intonation and stability.
