He delivers something that has got to be one of the sickest solos ever played by anyone live and then just walks away like nothing happened right after the song. Haha what a guy!
Love the audio quality of this camera aswell. This is almost spot on to what it actually sounds like at his shows, unlike a lot of newer recordings of his shows where the mixing is awful and the guitar sounds like garbage
And the Gibson BUCKETHEAD signature, is even bigger than a Les Paul custom. Plus, his neck is a 27 inches scale...custom made for him, of course. He is the absolute MASTER!
I only recently found him through John Romero's Doom Sigil soundtrack. Now I have few albums cathing up to do. 😐 Quickly raising ranks in my favs list.
Sigil has a fantastic collection of Buckethead's work, but it's not even a drop in the bucket (pardon the pun). There is SO MUCH more amazing music to explore!
was he having technical difficulties?...hi tech was swapping over his wireless setup to his backup guitar it appears.,...don't matter Buckethead shines!
Been studying Buckethead for a while now. Can anyone recommend me a couple of his tracks? I like emotional ones. I see brilliance in soothsayer and in crane.

sketchwish it's the second run of his signature model. This is the studio version, no ebony fretboard, binding, etc., about half the price. I heard that when Gibson makes a signature model they give the first ten made to the artist. Don't know how true that is but if it is true he should have 20, 10 of each model.
I ordered his signature studio when they announced them back in 2011 I think? I got somewhere around the 250th according to the serial number and I was told by the guy at the guitar store who was on the phone with the Gibson rep that there was only 500 of each standard and 500 of the studio produced worldwide and that was it. It took 2 months for it to be physically made after I ordered it and I still got up in the #250s ... so needless to say they went quick. I don't know how many prototypes there are, but I'm going to assume the "new" guitar he played in 2008 was the gigging prototype to what this one would turn out to be. The old white one he played in GNR and onwards was not actually a Gibson if I remember correctly.

According to Travis Dickerson, B got his first white Les Paul in mid 2000. I would assume he got two of them because they look identical and there are videos from 2004/2005 showing them both on stage. Sometime in 2008 he got what I assume to be a new Les Paul with black headstock and black pickups. I've never seen that guitar pictured with another one of his Les Pauls or a possible black headstock twin. Sometime in 2009 he got his signature and we've seen two of the on stage at once. I would assume they are the first two in production if Gibson really does provide 2 to the artist. 500 is what I've heard for production numbers on both models. I have heard mixed opinions on early fretboard material being Ebony instead of Richlite. Tuners change at some point in production. Trogly's Guitar has done a few videos about Big B's six string twanger.
sticks..what have make BH without sticks.....i think it s now after he s dad die ,.like not only a sound and helper and ingineer sound ingineer but is like a father figure
His tech should be fired on the spot for handing Big B his axe whacked way the F out of tune as such - WTF up wit dat?!! C’mon, brosef - it ain’t that hard. Be a professional.
Markus Maxwell I don't think they have the most open schedule to better plan this, he is a busy man, especially when you're travelling around the country doing shows most days. If you watched his hardly strictly bluegrass festival performance that was definitely better planned because it was a stand alone show
At least he had the decency to tune the guitar to please whoever paid for a ticket to see him. Dont see anything unprofessional there, technical issues can happen to anyone.

For Buckethead that solo has got to be easy. For the rest of us mortals it's impossible.
Only with passion for what one love’s to do can achieve anything
Meh, just another day at the office for Big B.
So thankful I found his music over 15 years ago. Don't know what I would do without this legend and his mind blowing music.
Love the audio quality of this camera aswell. This is almost spot on to what it actually sounds like at his shows, unlike a lot of newer recordings of his shows where the mixing is awful and the guitar sounds like garbage
I can't believe how small he makes that guitar look considering its a big ass guitar.
And the Gibson BUCKETHEAD signature, is even bigger than a Les Paul custom.

Take care my friend...
Worked his way out of a near catastrophe.
What a great master!
He couldn’t have made it without the help of Guthrie Govan

Absolutely sensational performance I am thoroughly enjoyed. Thank you....❤ All....

Looks like he's using the studio version of his sig these days, wonder if Gibson won't make him USA models anymore?

when you are a gibson artist you get the prototypes and 2 of the final product. You can always request more if you need
Antonio TF Any idea how many prototypes are made? I’ve had a hard time finding info on how many sigs were produced. I own two first run signatures.

Great guitarist....but too much wasted time at the beginning and out of tune guitars?
Unprofessional IMO.
